6:44am downing some coffee and getting ready for work. Today is my Friday..took tomorrow and Monday off ..heading to New Hampshire tomorrow for a (long awaited and needed) girls weekend!

9:52 AM. It is QUITE chilly this morning. Yummy coffee is warming me up, though. I think I'm going to go read in my reading chair today once I make a new cup of coffee. The kitty girls are cold, so they are still in bed. :) Good morning!

9:56AM Just Aves and I this AM. Just finished with breakfast and Aves is watching Frosty the Snowman! Yay no more Halloween movies! LOL He really likes Frosty. So today we will be taking Aeverie home. But first we are going to go get Amy take her out to Dinner and then do some shopping. I love Thursdays! Randy got his sign in bonus for the contract for union. So that is awesome. Gonna go to B&N and pick up Asylum and of course visit the UBS and I am also going to start buying our craft stuff for Christmas. Also might get a fire pit. Home depot had a nice one for like $40. I have always wanted one. We were gonna make our own but it comes out to being more expensive that way. So now gonna try and read a bit. Note I said "try".

10:47am. Took my son to school this morning. A short drive through the country ranches. The trees are all turning; so beautiful against the crisp blue sky. Listening to The Kitchen House, a great book so far.

449pm- trying to get used to my new glasses-I normally wear contacts-haven't owned glasses in years but finally bought a pair to give my dry eyes a rest- I feel okay until I move and then I get a little dizzy lol- I guess I just need to get used to them

8:20 PM. Tonight we had leftovers for dinner: sour cream potato soup and my leftovers from last night. Project Runway is recording, but in the mean time, Mark is watching football. After we watch PR, (can't wait to discuss with Terri!) I'm going to make some coffee, reading, and GR it up!

8:40PM Just got home after accomplishing nothing really. LOL Went to Aarons to pay off the fridge and we bought an upright freezer. We were in there for 45 min waiting for the gal to get everything squared away. She did cut us a great deal so not gonna complain too much. Then went to dinner, and then book store, it is pretty sad we were in Aarons longer than the book store lol. We then went to the Mall and came home. Any way will post new books in appropriate thread.

10:51pm EST. Thanks everyone for your expressions of support. It really means a lot to me. My son Chris is still in the hospital--he's on a 72 hour hold for suicide attempts. I hope they can help him. He's been calling his dad and me about every 2 hours--tearful and apologetic. It's just so difficult. How do you find someone reasons to live and be positive? I guess all we can do is be there for him and make sure he knows we love him and won't desert him. His brother is a social worker and he gives us a lot of support and a professional perspective on the whole situation.

Katy, are you having a lot of pain? Hope your situation improves whatever the problem is.

In spite of everything I'm looking forward to Thanksgiving. It's my favorite holiday. Hopefully Chris will be out of the hospital by then. Kevin will be here from Cleveland. I think the family time will do us all good. I'll really enjoy cooking the feast.

Chris, do you cook Thanksgiving dinner?

8:24AM. Good morning! Drinking some yummy coffee this brisk morning. Tonight is the opera we are going to, so I'm going to focus on my reading for a while because I probably won't get to read much after we get home, get my workout earlier than usual, get ready, and Mark will be home early. I read some in bed last night, and I got so sleepy I couldn't finish the chapter. Yay!!!!!!! It's almost the weekend!

1:45 PM. I had a late lunch of strawberry Greek yogurt and pine nut hummus with pita chips. I read a few pages during and after lunch, so I'm going to go workout now. Afterwards, I'm going to get a shower and get ready for tonight.

12:00 AM. At home checking my GR notifications. The opera was surprisingly, for something we don't normally do, very good. Man, they could sing. The story was pretty good and actually funny. I'm enjoying some delicious coffee and I think I will read a little bit while I prop my feet up. My feet are a little swollen. Lol...heels always do that to me. Anyways, hope everyone is having a great night!

10:25 AM. Good morning, GR! I'm waiting on coffee to finish brewing. I think I might make some breakfast for us. Mark said he wants to work on the guitar he is building for most of the day, and I'm glad. Why? Because I want to read! Lol.

Susan, thank you! I think the whole opera was just better than we had expected, so it made it a great experience. Neither of us had ever been, and it turned out to be fun. I thought the story might be a little boring, but it turned out to be funny through almost the whole 3 1/2 hours. Time flew by, really. I'd do it again if we have the opportunity or find one we are really interested in. :)

Apparently they were quite popular in the Soviet Union. I am not sure which ones he's seen, I just know he liked "Carmen" because I caught him whistling the Toreador Song once and was surprised he knew it. I know it because I played it on the piano.

12:49PM HIYA everyone! :::waving::: My Saturday has turned from reading day to fall cleaning day! How Awesome is that :/

So it starts with getting the carpets cleaned before Thanksgiving. So we are doing that now. Hopefully the last time to clean carpets before we lay new floor down in Den, dining room and hall. We actually moved our Dining room to the family room and then the den took the dining. LOL Anyway they laid carpet throughout the house. When the dining room was in the right spot we tiled it, but it made more sense to move the dining to the family room which was bigger so we have carpet in dining room again. LOL This next year we are laying wood floors. Anyway I am rambling. I just wanted to stop in and say hey! We just ate lunch and are ready to clean living room carpet now.

2:13 p.m. EST It's Homecoming weekend here, so the town is full of drunken idiots. Dmitry was almost run off the road Thursday night, and my cousins were almost run off the road last night. Anyway, working at waking D, he has to be to work at 3.

6:36PM Wow what a productive day today! Got everything done that we wanted to. Kay and I took a walk after dinner, so I used all this cleaning and walking as my work out. LOL Will get a good work out in tomorrow or maybe stop and do a mission tonight, we will see. So now I may have some coffee and then gonna get some read time in! I miss it!

8:12 PM. Mmm...Pizza is in the oven and it smells delicious! I made a trip to the bookstore, and didn't purchase much. The one I went to didn't really have much on the clearance rack, which was kind of disappointing, but I did get some books and a movie. Mark and I decided to get a few more things organized around the house after we eat. Then, I'm going to drink some coffee and read. I'm really looking forward to getting back to The Sleeping Doll.

8:18pm. Made a big pot of minestrone soup and French bread for dinner. There is none left! Boys are like endless pits. Reading "Murder on a Bad Hair Day", funny and then thought provoking...back and forth. Fun light read after two heavy's. Cleaned bathrooms, the worst chore ever, except teaching a teen to drive. Lol. Hubby's day for that. No body wants to watch Monsters Inc. University with me. They are too cool for school. :( Maybe I will just pop it in during football tomorrow. :) !
