Sitting quietly, my family has just left and I am exhausted! It's my youngest boy's birthday tomorrow, but as he has school we did tea this afternoon. We get to celebrate again tomorrow after school! This time 8 years ago he was officially on his way!

7:18 p.m. and I'm back on GR's. Sorry for the disappearing act but I found it necessary to check myself into the local nut ward for a bit. Wish I hadn't now. Not once did I talk with a therapist or participate in a group. NOTHING. Just put on medication and told it could take up to four weeks for it to help. Anyway, enough of my ranting. I am back and return to work Tuesday if I still have a job.

Oh, how frustrating, Cindy! When I was in detox we were supposed to have group several times a day, but that only happened on Wed and Thur; after that they just ignored the schedule completely. I hope the meds will at least help.

11:59 PM. Laying in bed after having washed and moisturized my face, brushed and flossed my teeth. Mark is fast asleep already, so I'm going to read a bit. It was kind of a busy day, like most Sundays. After I got home from the store and put up the groceries, I cleaned up the house a bit. JUST as I sat down to read, my dad comes over, so we cooked chicken piccata and made a salad. Oh my....It was sooooo good! Then, my dad left, I cleaned up the kitchen, and by this time, the Cowboys were on. I watched them kick the Redskins butts! Woohoo! Well, I'm off to read!

1:01 a.m. EDT Slept for a couple hours, woke up in a great deal of pain, so now I'm wide awake. Have an appointment tomorrow with the nurse from Advantage for meds refills and an editing job to do this week that I'll start after that. Vacillating between trying to watch Sleepy Hollow on Hulu or continuing to read this very amusing book...

7:45AM Aves is still asleep, I am doing laundry and waiting for my coffee. I plan on trying to read today but it is sometimes difficult as you know when Aves is here. He wants Mimi to play with him 24/7 or watch 'scary bideos' lol in Aeverie talk. So taking advantage of the quiet right now. Kay off to school and Hub at work. Not sure if Derek works this AM or not. We have some more rain coming down today with cooler temps. YAY!

7:59-- I just don't see how you people drink that coffee. Funny thing is, I like to smell the can, but oh that stuff tastes nasty.

You know, I thought it was a little cool last night. I reckon a cool front did come in. That's nice, because it has been pretty damn sucky here the last few days. Just when you think winter has arrived--lookout! we are going right back to summer. I so hate that.

I'm about to try to read a whole book here in one sitting (The Thicket ) like I was doing last spring--you'd think I would finish one of the many I have going but that just ain't how it works. Then, I have some serious cleaning to be done. As you can surely tell, I have my priorities all worked out, hehe.

10:27am EDT. Good morning GR! Another beautiful fall morning, sitting drinking coffee with my younger son who is here for a visit from Cleveland. I don't get to see him much so this is a special treat. He brought his border collie Macey, so my puppy Charlie is having a ball. Going to make brunch here soon. Bacon and French toast and fresh strawberries and kiwi. Hope everyone gets a good start to their week!

10:15am Good Morning GR. Everyone here is off onto their day. It feels like the middle of the day for me since I was up to get hubby off to the airport at 4am. Coffee...I need mass coffee! Mass for me equals one cup. ;). Reading and housekeeping.

10:34am one advantage if working at a bank...get Columbus Day off and paid! Slept in a little bit...showered and now going to work on school work! Lots of reading to do for school...I've learned that's what graduate school is all about! I'm enjoying it though.

It's nice to not have huge amounts of money going out for this; they have me on a sliding scale of zero, so it's very helpful to our budget. Have some editing to start, although I didn't sleep much last night so dunno how much I'll manage to do.

3:40PM Had a light Dinner, some pretzel crackers and a salad. I love salad. Aves opted for some noodles. LOL Randy ate up the left over pork chops and had a salad also. Kay can fend for herself when she gets home from school. No reading today because Ave's has not allowed it, but we did do a Halloween Mural this morning and it looks great. I posted one on my blog thread, but will post it here too.



I am hoping I will get to read at least a little today, but we will see what Ave's has planned for me. LOL Gotta love him!

Went back to work after a nice 3-day weekend, and realized only half my job was done while i was out... same old, same old crap... ah well; not everyone has a work ethic. gggrrrr *-*

8:07 PM. Mark just got home. Mondays are his late days. I've got turnips roasting in the oven, and I will put the lemon-pepper tilapia with garlic in the oven, then cook the fresh green beans. I hope the turnips turn out well, since it's my first attempt at making them. I liked them as a kid. I had a nice workout, and after dinner, I plan to read. I have been enjoying the rain which has made its presence all day. I also looked for a job most of the day. Job hunting is exhausting. Who knew?!??!! Anyways, I think I will read until dinner is done. :)
