10:05PM reached Pg. 112 in Doctor Sleep, now back at Night in the Lonesome October and hit 62 in that one. Gonna take it to Pg. 100 I think. I am not sure where Laymon is gonna take this. :/
2:26 a.m. EDT Took a nap. Only managed a couple hours and I'm groggy. I was wrong, that spider is an orb weaver, but I can't quite figure out what she is. I still think black house spider looks right, nearly as I can tell...
9:56 a.m. EDT Managed a few more hours, now it's time to finish this book. Hubby has to work today; it's usually his day off but they're down a person, so he has to cover. I'm hoping he can come home in the evening. My brain feels like it's several sizes too big for my head. Ouch.
9:11 AM But I have already been up a few hours reading and researching how to put together a short story. I would be really interested in reading anything any of you have written. I'm just not sure how to lay it all out but I think I have some interesting ideas.
Chuck, start by just writing down your idea. Maybe an outline, maybe just notes, whatever works for you. just plan out the timeline. THEN write it. Just write it. Worry about the details once the idea is down on paper. Have fun!
10:16AM Enjoying the quiet again today. Got pretty far in Night in the Lonesome October, will finish that today I think. This even Amy, Cort and Aves are coming we will have some home made Chicken noodle Soup and I promised Aves that would make the first round of Halloween cupcakes. He is super excited about that.
Chuck I never use an outline. I get the general idea I want for a story then I write and things don't stay the same by the end of it either. But writing is a great release sometimes whether it is a story or poetry.

10:16 AM. Listening to the end of Audiobook, "Naked in Death", then going to read a little more, "House of Leaves". Today is our 23 anniversary and still in love.
10:24 AM. I have been up for a while, but it took me a while to fully wake up this morning. I'm waiting on coffee to finish, and I think I will make us something for breakfast. It is really cool outside, and if feels good. I've already got our roast in the crockpot, which is dinner for tonight. Mark has ready been up and working in his shop, so I think I will read.
Good morning. Thank you, a rare day with nothing on our agenda. YaY! Have a great day and enjoy our wonderful cool weather:)

Hope you guys enjoy your do nothing day.
11:06AM Working today. I'll be checking in from time to time. I haven't had any time to read my book so I am hopeful that I can get some reading in today.
12:11pm ET. Going to Lowe's; which has always been my second home... i love that place. Then back for some pizza for lunch.. yummy :)
Alondra, Lowe's is Mark's second home. I swear he is having an affair with Lowe's and possibly even Home Depot. ;p
Happy anniversary, Susan!12:29 p.m. EDT Sandra Brannan's Liv Bergen mysteries are so good. Just finished reading the fourth one. I found an e-mail from Journalstone in my inbox today offering a copy of Limbus, Inc. if I review it within the month. Score! That's what's up next!

My husband takes our little yorkie with him to Lowe's almost every other day, (his favorite place too), when he shows up with out her, everyone asks, "what's wrong, where's your dog". Hehe. She is also famous at Starbucks, his second favorite place.

Thank you Katy.
11:56AM YAY Got another story moved to my blog. Now I can read some more. I try so hard not to ignore my blog, some times it happens though. I plan on finish Night in the Lonesome October by this evening, but what I plan and what actually happens are 2 different things. So we will see.
Janie wrote: "Happy Happy Anniversary Susan!! Have a great day together!"Thanks Janie. We will. Hubby is off to Lowes for concrete. Hehe lol
3:52 p.m. EDT Hubby just came home. Working on talking him into going out for some food. Tried to take a nap but couldn't sleep. Still, resting my eyes for a bit helped, I don't feel so exhausted now.
9:04 P.M. Watching the time traveling series called Continuum on Netflix. It's pretty freaking cool. And the female lead is wearing clothes. Practically unheard of in fantasy.
8:05 PM. Sitting on my butt after cleaning up dinner. We had a roast, carrots, peas, and mashed potatoes. Probably the best roast I've ever made. Mark is watching football, so, I think I will read Doctor Sleep. Can't decide on coffee or Chai spice tea cider. Hmmmmm....
10:35pm ET. Time to read, but before that.. how about we delete some "friends" from the old profile, eh?? Yeah, that sounds like a plan.. nothing like cleaning house

12:15 AM ~ I've been reading House of Leaves & now I have to get up and stretch out for a bit. My muscles are stiff from sitting here so long. I haven't decided what I'm going to do yet. We haven't had dinner yet, so there's that. I could get an "early" start on the animals tonight & maybe get to bed before the sun rises. We'll see how it goes....
I was going to say...your up late. No dinner? I did not read HoL today, just Audible listening. What page are you on?
I finished up reading Chapter XIII a little while ago, and now I'm about to start on Chapter VIII, page 97. I just noticed (view spoiler) Yeah, we usually eat late but not quite this late. I'm not feeling much like cooking tonight. I think I'll find something quick for us to eat. What page are you on with HOL, still 117? I'm trying to do some catching up today.
Maybe I'll catch up after all. I'll read myself to sleep tonight like I do every night. We'll see how much gets read before my eyes involuntarily shut. Lol App II-E explains a lot about Johnny & why he is how is and why he thinks like he does.
Hey, Sunsette. We often eat at around 2 or 3 or 4 in the morning... LOL5:49 a.m. EDT Slept for awhile, then spent several hours just laying here hoping to go back to sleep ... But I guess I'm up to start the day. Whee. Have some editing to do.
1050Catching up on paperwork then hoping to fit an hours reading in later before the school refugee's descend

Lol! At least I'm not the only one with a weird schedule. :D
7:17 AM ~ So much for getting to bed before sunrise. Lol I just finished feeding and watering all the animals & now I am about to settle in and read HOL until I fall asleep. Right now I'm brushing my teeth (what can I say, I like to multitask). Goodnight to the owls and folks abroad, Good day to everyone else! :)
9:25am EDT: Just reading at the moment, but later I'm going to the bookstore for my birthday (please don't look at my profile! LOL) to spend, spend, spend! :-P
10:03AM Wow I did not get back here last night since my family came. It started at 2:30 with football and then when Amy and Cort came we watched movies so I just shut down and went to bed after that although it was 1:00AM and was time for bed. I did not read much, I did however read 50 pages in Doctor Sleep yesterday. I plan on reading today though as long as Aves lets me. Now I will be watching the mail for my books.
Sunsette wrote: "7:17 AM ~ So much for getting to bed before sunrise. Lol I just finished feeding and watering all the animals & now I am about to settle in and read HOL until I fall asleep. I keep really strange hours, Sunsette and Susan. My circadian rhythm naturally prefers sleeping during the late morning and early evening, and being up in the middle of the night and the middle of the day. Since I do freelance stuff from home, that works out nicely for me. :-)2:10 p.m. EDT Found out the MS hadn't gone through beta reading yet. *laugh* I adore this author but she's just starting out and has the order of things mixed up. That's two false starts I've had on this one. Hopefully next time will be "the one". Meanwhile need to check in with another author to see if I should do his this week, and send my hubby off to work. He's had a restless day, not much sleep, so I'm giving him another 10 minutes before I start to wake him.
4:33PM Had dinner, will be working out soon. Son ordered a pizza for him, Aves and Kayla. I had a chicken salad sandwich myself. LOL, was not feeling like pizza. Will be taking Aves to the playground after my work out.
