What time is it and what are you doing?
11:13PM work sucked but I had a good night. Came home and cooked dinner for our regular Thursday guest. We all watched the Cardinals best the pirates in game 1 of the MLB Playoff. Then it was my turn, the Blues season opened was at home against the Predators. We beat them 4-2, I love Hockey. Trying to get baby girl to stay asleep and then off to bed with me and try to get some more reading in. The October List is awesome. Although I might be to tired to make it to bed. Long long day, and early morning tomorrow. Good night GR.
6:23am getting ready for another day at placement, taking the children swimming today. then I've got a meeting about camping so a busy day today!
6:19 a.m. Having some coffee before I get ready for work.

It's 9:27 a.m about to hop in the shower and get ready, then got to run to the bank and post office and wash a couple loads at the laundromat. That means I can start a new book. Think I might go for The Illustrated Man maybe. Or something else. I dunno, I can't decide, but if I read the Bradbury, it'll finish off my Name Challenge :)

Night in the Lonesome October is a really fun book. I read it last fall.11:38 a.m. EDT went to sleep a bit after 4 this morning and managed to sleep fairly well until almost 11, so that was nice. Now time to finish this really cool book I'm reading.
It's 2:30pm here and I'm sitting at work waiting to go home and do more homework, boooo. Dr. Sleep comes in the mail today (I ordered the hardcover rather than the kindle version) and I can't wait to get started on that, after finals next week anyway. I hope everyone is doing well and enjoying Fall, the best season of the year :)
So good to see you post again Tim. Good luck with finals next week. I don't envy you. 3:37PM Working the closing shift and just waiting till 4 so I can swing home for lunch. Miss my family and need a little fix. I get to spend about 45 min with them before I have to come back to work.
Hi Chris, good to hear from you. It's nice you can go visit the family on lunch. I remember going my Mom taking us out to have lunch with my Dad during his lunch breaks, it was something we looked forward to.

I get an hour for lunch and I spend it at home. It is so nice to get away for awhile and I don't spend all our money on fast food.
I remember going to my Dad's office too when I was younger and having lunch with him in their cafeteria. Those are some great memories.
4:49. Sitting here counting down until 5pm. Can't wait to run out of this place start my weekend
6:00pm was ready to grab my ipad to start reading and realized I left it work! blah! Will have to read all weekend on my phone /Nook app. :(

Just had dinner, Herb&Butter Fish, fresh green beans and mashed potatoes. Now in a few I will be working out, maybe throw the football with my men after that, and then read some more after that. Have to do a Vlog for my review channel as well, so let me squeeze that in there too. LOL

6:25 PM. Waiting on my dad to get here so we can all go eat pizza at a local pizza restaurant. It was kind of a busy day cleaning. I even managed to mop the house. Had a short workout, so I guess I will be making up for that tomorrow. Going to read until my dad gets here.
8:16 p.m. EDT Just took a little nap. Back up now, Erasmus sitting here with me. I've been locking the cats out when I sleep, so he usually pops in here as soon as possible once the door is open. Dmitry noticed we have an absolutely enormous spider out on the back porch just past the back door to the other duplex, but we can't manage a good look at her because every time we go out the back she scampers up and huddles against the roof. Very aggravating; I'd like a really good look at her. Her body must be almost an inch, she's really big.

8:15 PM. Just got home a few minutes ago. Mark is in a pizza coma. Now he is watching t.v. I, fortunately, didn't overeat so I'm not miserable. I think I might go read in my favorite chair with some coffee. :)

12:07 a.m. EDT Trying to decide what to read next. It's a great new game I have... LOL
12:20 AM. Okay, I'm still up, but haven't been reading the entire time. I have read, though. I got distracted by a few things, but I'm getting back to reading. Gizmo must want to stay up with me because she just curled up on my lap...yep...she is my reading-buddy-baby. :) <3 her.

4.54pm having a very lazy Saturday with my books. I had a massive list of things I was going to achieve today and reading is the only thing I'll be crossing of that list LOL! Finished my re-read of The Gunslinger and absolutely loved it this second time around. Got a little way into The Drawing of the Three and made myself put it down so I could make some progress with Doctor Sleep - really enjoying it so far, I'm really liking Billy's character :)
7:52 a.m. Having a cup of coffee and getting ready for work.
9:42am ET. About to take my son to get a haircut, then pick up veggies (guilt) and salad for lunch next week; and then off to the mall with the boys... God help me. I don't hang with the hubby and son too often; this ought to be interesting... :O

9:48AM Coffee and apple turnovers for breakfast! Getting some cleaning and laundry done, then out with my girlfriends to Newport for dinner and a city walk ghost tour.

Michelle, I have no idea since I can't manage a good look at her. All I know is she's big, and she's black. I'll try again, take a closer look at her web. 9:32 AM. Drinking coffee and about to get back into Doctor Sleep. I'm so happy cooler temps are rolling in with overcast skies. Makes for great reading weather. :)

10:46 a.m. EDT Just learned the father of a classmate from my hometown passed away. We're all growing old. Wasn't it just a couple years ago we were rocking out to Bon Jovi and Poison? *sigh* I think I need a drink...
10:26 AM. Just remembered: 4 years ago today, I was living with Mark. (Never thought I'd live with my boyfriend. Ever.) He had taken the day off. I came home from work, and there was a big box on the coffee table. He told me to take the top off. Underneath was a mini-wedding cake he had made that was white with blue flowers. When I turned around, he was on one knee with a beautiful diamond ring, and asked me to marry him. Obviously....I said yes. Haha :)

17:44pm making some bread. reading while I wait for it to bake, finally finished my book after over 2 weeks! that's the longest I've ever taken to finish a book. Hoping to get back into my usual rhythm tonight
17:55I'm listening to The Scientist by Tyler Ward. Just going to read a bit more of Eldest by Christopher Paolini before packing my bag so I can go to my grandparents and play my new pedal harp!

2:34 p.m. and I got home from work a lot earlier than I normally do on a Saturday. Plan to take advantage and watch a couple of football games, cook dinner, take a shower, clean a little, and read some. Plan to just relax, take my time, and not stress today. Some really good news I will post in the blog area.
Aww, Kathryn, that is a lovely story! Only my first ex-husband actually had a proposal for me; husband two and Dmitry it was just "so, wanna get married" "okay". But Michael, my first ex-husband, took me out to dinner and after we ate he brought flowers and did the whole thing. No ring, 'cause we didn't have the money, but he worked at the restaurant in question and had everyone in on it.Michelle, I think the spider is a black house spider. She has brown markings on her back and is sort of hairy looking and is not an orb weaver. She's still very insecure and scarpers when I try to take a closer look, but she doesn't run as soon as we walk out the door anymore, so it's progress.

7:28 PM. I am really enjoying the cool, rainy weather. I actually tried to take a nap, but after I had fallen asleep, Pepper woke me up playing on my blanket. We went out and bought me a new pair of jeans, which I really needed. Not sure what we are going to do tonight, so in the mean time, I am going to get back into Doctor Sleep. My dad was here for most of the day, so...I didn't get much reading done. Oh well. I'm thinking of making tonight a "fend for yourself" kind of dinner. For lunch, I made BLTs and soup, so um...I think I've done my cooking for the day. haha! Anyways, I hope everyone is having a great night. :)
9:47pm ET. Just finished helping Hubby take a test for some stupid psychology class. they ask the dumbest questions ever.... i will never go back to school unless i win the lotto; and that will only be to take up Kissmyassolgy. ..truly.

Janie, I have the same problem with books. I just have to be strong and not go to the bookstore unless I plan to spend money, because I can NOT just go and browse. My husband can go into a bookstore, spend hours, and not buy a thing. I can't comprehend this.
