What time is it and what are you doing?

Trying to get baby girl to stay asleep and then off to bed with me and try to get some more reading in. The October List is awesome. Although I might be to tired to make it to bed. Long long day, and early morning tomorrow. Good night GR.

I think I have the same sickness... I go to look for used books, telling myself I'm only going to buy if it's one that's onmy wishlist, then end up buying all kinds of new ones that weren't on my list. I'll walk out of a Goodwill sometimes with 15 books, easy. Or more :o
It's 9:27 a.m about to hop in the shower and get ready, then got to run to the bank and post office and wash a couple loads at the laundromat. That means I can start a new book. Think I might go for The Illustrated Man maybe. Or something else. I dunno, I can't decide, but if I read the Bradbury, it'll finish off my Name Challenge :)
9:33AM Got to sleep till 8:30 this morning. Hub got up to see Kay off to school and I went back to bed. That was nice. So now enjoying some coffee and plan on diving into And She Was, it got really good! Would love to finish it by today or tomorrow, we will see how it works out, then gonna read Doctor Sleep and see if I can slip in Night in the Lonesome October to read with Holly. Not sure if I can get that one or not. LOL It was not even one of the books I chose for this month. But that is typical.

11:38 a.m. EDT went to sleep a bit after 4 this morning and managed to sleep fairly well until almost 11, so that was nice. Now time to finish this really cool book I'm reading.

3:37PM Working the closing shift and just waiting till 4 so I can swing home for lunch. Miss my family and need a little fix. I get to spend about 45 min with them before I have to come back to work.

That is really the only perk to my job being 2 min from home. I get an hour for lunch and I spend it at home. It is so nice to get away for awhile and I don't spend all our money on fast food.
I remember going to my Dad's office too when I was younger and having lunch with him in their cafeteria. Those are some great memories.

5:14PM Have been reading so much today! I love it. I plan on finishing And She Was this evening and then maybe read more of The vanishing after that and start Doctor Sleep tomorrow.
Just had dinner, Herb&Butter Fish, fresh green beans and mashed potatoes. Now in a few I will be working out, maybe throw the football with my men after that, and then read some more after that. Have to do a Vlog for my review channel as well, so let me squeeze that in there too. LOL
Nice to see your post Tim! Hope the rest of your day went well. Chris same for you as well.

so, you understand? If it looks funny, smells funny or has a funny color... it will not be eaten. :D

8:38PM I have so enjoyed my day today just reading! I love weekends! LOL I will have And She Was completed tonight. The book totally turned around and I can barely put it down. I don't think I have read a book with this much mystery in it. LOL It is fabulous. It has pushed itself up to a 4 star read now. Had my coffee, YUM Crème Brulee, so good. Then came here to check in and update my progress, just 100 pages to go. So now I guess I go back to my book!
LOL Kathryn pizza coma! That cracks me up.

Yep, totally understand!
12:07 a.m. EDT Trying to decide what to read next. It's a great new game I have... LOL

12:31AM Wow I am tired and about ready to head to bed. I finished And She Was and I gotta say I think Alison Gaylin is very talented! She writes a great mystery. I am pleased and now I am thinking I just need to read the sequel as soon as possible. LOL Ok y'all nighters!

@ Janie, so glad you enjoyed your book - you seem to be on a streak, lots of good reads lately :)
@ Katy ooooo I love spiders, I can see why you'd want to get a good look, sounds amazing! What kind of spider is it?
4.54pm having a very lazy Saturday with my books. I had a massive list of things I was going to achieve today and reading is the only thing I'll be crossing of that list LOL! Finished my re-read of The Gunslinger and absolutely loved it this second time around. Got a little way into The Drawing of the Three and made myself put it down so I could make some progress with Doctor Sleep - really enjoying it so far, I'm really liking Billy's character :)

hahahhaha... i sniff in secret... i feel a little nutty doing it, but my hubby just looks at me like the nut i am... ah well.

10:25 a.m. EDT Slept for a few hours. Now I'm up. I really need to do something about my colonitis. But since I don't have insurance... *sigh*

9:30AM Been up a little more than an hour. Hub and Son at work, Kay still sleeping. Had my breakfast, did a book vlog and now checking in here. Starting Doctor Sleep today. Looking forward to it. Both my books I ordered have shipped. So now I will be watching the mailbox. So I have some peace and quiet so I guess it is time to dig into Doctor Sleep.

*weeps* :)

I'm listening to The Scientist by Tyler Ward. Just going to read a bit more of Eldest by Christopher Paolini before packing my bag so I can go to my grandparents and play my new pedal harp!
12:20PM Wow now it is super quiet here as I am the only one here. LOL Kay ended up babysitting today. She was happy about that. I have been enjoying Doctor Sleep this AM. It is pretty darn good so far.
2:34 p.m. and I got home from work a lot earlier than I normally do on a Saturday. Plan to take advantage and watch a couple of football games, cook dinner, take a shower, clean a little, and read some. Plan to just relax, take my time, and not stress today. Some really good news I will post in the blog area.

Michelle, I think the spider is a black house spider. She has brown markings on her back and is sort of hairy looking and is not an orb weaver. She's still very insecure and scarpers when I try to take a closer look, but she doesn't run as soon as we walk out the door anymore, so it's progress.
4:23 p.m. EDT Real Vampires Don't Sparkle is an awesome book. That is all.
7:05 having a productive day with the reading I think. Had dinner and my work out. Updated my blog, cause it needed it lol and I am here now checking in. Gonna get back to Doctor Sleep, but also decided to throw in Night in the Lonesome October and I am really liking it. Easy to follow. I am only on pg 30 though. Doctor Sleep kind of took precedence. trying to get into The Vanishing but dang it is hard. it has not really captured my attention yet.

Janie, I have the same problem with books. I just have to be strong and not go to the bookstore unless I plan to spend money, because I can NOT just go and browse. My husband can go into a bookstore, spend hours, and not buy a thing. I can't comprehend this.
11:31 p.m. EDT. What does a cowboy do on his 80th birthday?
That's my dad! Here's a close-up of him:
Just off the phone with him. I'll be back to reading soon!
