That sucks someone spoiled your Doctor Sleep Kathryn! I'm not getting mine til Christmas, so I totally understand the wanting to avoid spoilers! >.<It's 5:58 p.m and I'm just messing around waiting til Mum gets here. She's taking us to go get little man's Halloween costume, and I'm kinda hoping for some dinner too ;)
It's 00:11 and I should be painting in Photoshop.
It's 11.21pm here in the Uk. I should be going to sleep but I am not really sleepy. Have the dentist tomorrow and I am really scared. I haven't been for years (I know naughty me!) I am terrified of the dentist but I really need to go as I think I may have TMJ/TMD and it is agony ... Wish me luck guys.
7:36pm ET. This week has been so slow at work; and it has been wonderful. I've been able to leave prior to 5 each day this week... Thank you, Lord. Cooked dinner again too... 2 in a row. Who is gonna pat me on the back; that is a record...

11:51 p.m. EDT Have taken three naps today, none longer than three hours... So, all told, I've managed about 8 1/2 hours of sleep... *laugh* Tomorrow morning I go back to the nurses' clinic to have them check the results of the test and then hopefully I'm all set for my treatment... Hopefully this time I don't collapse in the lobby... *laugh*
11:03 PM. Mark has had a pretty good birthday, I think. It has kind of been a relaxing day, with us going to lunch, went to play games at the arcade, then he wanted to come home and do woodwork. While he worked in his shop, I read for a bit outside. He loved his gifts and peanut butter cream pie. We are watching a pretty good movie on Netflix called 6 Souls. I'm thinking after this is over, I will try to read a bit more. Mark said thank you all for wishing him happy birthday!
12:08 a.m. EDT Almost done clearing out e-mail. Then I think I'll go nibble on something...
I'm a little late: Happy birthday Mark!:)11:07 Pm and I'm going to read more of Doctor Sleep. This one is very addicting guys! I almost missed the bus this morning reading it. I have a half day of school tomorrow because I am going to the ENT to have my perforated ear drum looked at. Hopefully have another appointment for a surgery to cover it by the end of the appointment. *fingers are crossed*
6:28 a.m. EDT Well, managed a few more hours of sleep, which felt nice. Have to go to the nurses' clinic after 9 this morning, so will have to dress in a couple hours. I'm freakin' freezing this morning, it must have dropped into the 50s last night. Brrrrr.

10:15 a.m. EDT That was hardly worth dressing for. No waiting anyway, just in and out, in and out, back home. Oh, well... it's done and now I'm free of obligations to go anywhere until the middle of October... :-)
9:58 AM. Good morning, GR. It was kind of a rough night last night. Gizmo just has been extra snuggly lately and even though it is so sweet and I usually love it, I fell off of the bed! Haha! Anyways, getting my teeth cleaned a few hours. Yay! Going to get some kolaches and coffee with my honey! I hope I get to read today! :)

Shopping went good last night, and got to go to Ruby Tuesday for dinner. It was goood. Little guy decided to be a puppy again this year, was a dragon last year, but a puppy the year before. Tried to talk him into this cute bat costume they had, but he was set on the puppy. Oh well, he'll be cute. Not doing much today, but I have a dentist appointment this evening. Ugh. Hate going to the dentist. Always afraid they're going to tell me I need teeth pulled or something. Yikes. Now I'm kind of wanting some brunch, but it'll have to wait. Looks like my assistance is needed with coloring. Fun stuff!
Kit, I have a dentist appointment in a few hours myself. Just a cleaning, but like you, I always worry they will tell me I have a cavity or something else. I've never had a cavity, so the thought kind of freaks me out. Lol
10:47AM enjoying some coffee while the kids play before I shower. All of us are taking our bi-weekly trip to the library today. Since the weather is so nice we will do another picnic in the park and let Conner play a bit. I don't need anything at the library but I had another comic book come in. I have so much to read right now I just can't find enough time to do it. Kathryn, peanut butter pie sounds awesome, that might be worth the trip for leftovers. :-)
Victor sorry to hear about your ear drum. That must be painful, but at least you'll get a half day tomorrow. I can't wait to start Doctor Sleep. I just got another book I've been dying to read at the same time so I put off DS.
Janie, I wasn't a fan of the book World War Z. I haven't seen the movie yet but I hear it is great. Let me know what you think when you see it.

Definitley an action packed flick. Hope you enjoy it!
I just got out of the doctor office. I have 70 percent of many ear drum so the hole takes over thirty percent. I will go into surgery October 15 and will have to take gym and Karate off for 4-6 weeks because my ear will need to heal properly. I have to not physically exert myself after surgery. Which isn't such a bad thing. Im kidding LOL I'm not too nervous about surgery. I am just excited to have my ear back to normal. I hope every thing good well at the dentist Kathryn and Kit.
Chris- I'm sure when you get to DS you will love it:)

2:57 p.m. EDT Almost time for my Amazon Vine newsletter to post. There wasn't anything in which I was interested last week, so we'll see what there is to see this week.
4:14 p.m. and I didn't get to read but 20 pages of my book at work today. I plan on reading for at least an hour and then I have some things to do. Made a lot of progress yesterday, so I'm not too worried about today.
5:50pm waiting at the hair salon for a much needed haircut.

I mean, I hardly ever bash a book; but it is like a dumb B-Movie. Even Attack of the Killer Tomatoes is better than this book. It is like watching something on Chiller network. Dumb.

8:05PM and I'm cooking dinner. Later than I planned on but we have our friend Cathy over for the usual Thursday night visit. I'm making chicken quesadillas. Alana, sorry the book sucks. I was interview by this one but guess I won't be reading it now. Although, b horror movies are my favorites. Evil Dead 1&2 are my favorites.

The Evil Dead was awesome, The Rising is not. Don't take my word for it. Find it for $1 or better yet at the library. It starts off good, but the silly one-liners from the zombies made me hold my head down in shame. This is just my opinion, though.
Good to know. Library it is or nothing else. The cover looked cool but I'm glad I have you to warn me of the stinkers. Hope your night at least gets better. So far October List by Jeffery Deaver is amazing and I'm only 12% in. You can look forward to that one eventually.

I actually liked Twilight to a certain point. It was something new; a whole new take on the vampire thing. I just don't like women portrayed as weak and only wanting to live for a man. It irked me the entire time. If Bella were more of a partner than "a stand by your man" type of gal, then the book would have been awesome. No way did I like my teenage daughter reading that crap. After all my talks about being strong...

9:39 p.m. and I am reading for a while. Got a two hour nap in today without waking up from pain. I feel rested and ready to read for a while now.

The zombie one-liners irked me with that book too! Like, ok, zombies can talk, cool. Then once you see what they have to say it's like, ugh, never mind, I'd rather you didn't talk. B movie is exactly what it reminded me of!
I just hope the show is better than the book. So far, it would appear that most people like the show or movie. Not sure which.

3:36am can't sleep. going to a Macmillan coffee morning today and was asked yesterday to go on a camping trip with some of the children I work with, super excited! I've never been camping before
Camping is a lot of fun Jordan. Just remember to over pack. You never know what you will need so be prepared. Make sure you get as many amenities as you can. Air mattresses are awesome. Words of wisdom from an old Boy Scout.
I'm borrowing an air mattress and I'll definitely be packing more than enough!

It's 10:56 p.m watching Tom & Jerry, ten more minutes til bedtime. Dentist was bad news. Well not entirely bad, it's been caught early so there's a possibility it can be fixed. But the enamel on the backs of my front teeth on top is like almost gone. Could be bad, so they gave me a prescription toothpaste and told me to brush and floss more. Sigh. Having em take out a wisdom tooth last year sucked, but at least it was in the back. I dunno what I'd do if something happened to my front teeth :(
But, since Dad had an appointment too, we rode together, and step-mom works for the dentist, so when we were all done, we went to dinner at Bravo! Italian Cucina. Never been there before. Had the chicken parmesan, it was pretty good. I liked their faux Roman decor too, lol. Feeling special, got dinner out 2 nights in a row.
10:25 PM. Sitting here about to watch Apt Pupil. I like to watch the King movies after I read the novel/short story. It was nice to meet a King reader and tell her about Doctor Sleep. She has read The Shining and has seen both adaptations, and didn't know there was going to be a book about grown up Danny. She was so excited, she said she was going to buy it right after work. Sharing books with people always makes me happy. Anyways, my dentist appointment went very well. Having my teeth cleaned always makes me feel so good. (Sorry your dentist appointment didn't go so well, Kit.) We have some pie from Mark's birthday, so I might have a little piece with some coffee. I didn't get much reading done, so hopefully tonight after the movie I will get to read for a few minutes. I miss working out, also. Mark being on vacation hasn't helped my workout schedule, but it has been worth it for the extra time with my honey. Hope everyone is having a great night!

Sorry things got spoiled for you. I hope you can still enjoy the book. I haven't read my copy yet either so I am trying to avoid all threads about Doctor Sleep. Feel pretty safe here I hope.
