What time is it and what are you doing?
7:23AM Kay got off to school about 25 min ago. I had breakfast and enjoying coffee with hub. Will be running into town again this morning for son. He needs to do some things. Gonna try and get some reading done today. Gonna do a 9 min. mission first though. Good Morning GR!
9:00 AM. And the rain is still here...I love it. :) I'm going to eat breakfast, make coffee, and enjoy the weather. I've got our front door open with the screen door locked, so we can enjoy the rain. Happy Friday!
I'm not. We need it. It would be nice when we go fishing to not have to walk 20-30 feet in and see dead fish everywhere, and to stop being on Stage 3 water restrictions all year.
1:14 p.m. EDT OMG I actually SLEPT for 9 HOURS, it was GLORIOUS!!! Wow, I really needed that... *happy sigh* Just clearing out e-mail and then I'll probably read for awhile. It's nice to have my concentration back...
Glad you got a good night's sleep Katy!12:52 p.m. On a roll with my revision. Hope to finish it by tonight. :-)
Orientation went great yesterday. My first day is Tuesday. I'm so excited; can't wait! :-D
4:36 p.m. and I am hyped to the max. I will write about this in the blog area of the group. Good news for once! Yes!!!!!!!
7:23 p.m. EDT Wow, finished two books today! Ready to tackle something new. It's nice to have my concentration back!
9:19pm. Worked out, worked, ate hot wings, watched World War Z: An Oral History of the Zombie War on Blu-Ray, and now drinking McDonalds sweet tea... i swear this stuff has crack in it... i am hooked!! TIme to read and wait for my son to get home from an AWAY football game. they are 2+ hours away; so i might not see him until 1am... long night. :O
8:31AM I'm at work. Crazy stressful last few days here at work. Got my energy drink because I'm barely awake. I hope to be around more today, I've missed reading all of your posts.
9:15AM Been up about an hour. Had a busy day yesterday, did not get to read, but it is ok it was time well spent with family. About to bake a cake for Hub, his birthday today. So he got treated to some new clothes and lunch out. It was nice. And today he will have cake. LOL So we had breakfast and coffee, will be doing a workout. Gonna read today. yesterday we got stuck on DiabloIII. WOOT!! Such a fun game. We used to play it years ago on computer. Well now it is on PS3 so that was fun. Good Morning GR!
10:36am ET. Hoping for rain today. I don't water the garden unless there is a drought; but with minimal rain in the last 2 weeks; i may have to break out the hose.... ggrrr. ready to finish my books today. :D
Sorry to hear you've had a stressful week, Chris.11:35 a.m. EDT Aaaahhh, a solid 12 hours of sleep and another very cool dream. I feel much better now... Lots of e-mail to clear out. Today is a home game with the university football team, which means the town is full of people. Very annoying. Dmitry will have to leave early for work since he'll be heading out right as the game lets out, which means TRAFFIC TRAFFIC TRAFFIC...

Glad you got so much rest. Sounds like you have had quite a stressful week yourself. Hope all is working out for you.
3:10PM Chuck I agree it is gorgeous out today! I am so ready for this weather. I think maybe once we get through the 90's predicted for this week we will be on our way to fall temps! YAY! So played some more on the PS3 and then did a 9 min mission. Now I am gonna settle in with The Stand and try to make some more progress with this book.
3:13PM back from my lunch break. I live close by so I went home for lunch. It is in the mid 70's here and we all sat out on our balcony and I made Grill Cheese sandwiches for all but the baby and we ate outside. It was really nice I hate to have to come back to work. When I left my wife was getting her book and the Play-dough out for my son.
It is really the only thing that keeps me sane. I get to leave work for an hour and spend that time with my family. I think if I didn't have that I would have gone postal a long time ago :-P
4:55pm got back from spending couple hours at Barnes and Noble...love the me time the book store. Checked out a few books to download to Nook that are currently 2 for $8. But I preordered Doctor Sleep..can't wait. Been stretching out the sample on iBooks until Tuesday.
4:03 PM. Have been trying to read all afternoon...argh!! I keep getting interrupted! I will get to read this afternoon!!!! Dad is here working on his truck before he goes on another oil rig. He said he is going to Half-Price Books after he is done and......is taking his reader of a daughter....:p

Chris, I hop we still feels up to it after he is done. He is 61 and already works too hard. He loves non-fiction history and political books, and I think he wants to get a few books to read while he has down-time. Too bad Doctor Sleep isn't out yet..he would probably buy it for me. Haha! JK!
It's quite nice here, too - cool, cloudy, had some rain earlier.5:50 p.m. EDT Man it is nice to be able to read again. That not being able to focus for almost a week business was driving me crazy! My eyes are still a bit blurred, but at least I can concentrate again! :-)
656pm- checking into gr before dinnerKaty- glad your feeling better!
Janie- enjoy your hubby's bday celebration- I wish I had cake in the house lol
Kathryn- hope you enjoyed the bookstore with your dad!
6:58 p.m. and I'm cooking dinner. Haven't ate all day except a small handfull of dry cereal. Hungry. After I eat, I'm reading for a while.
7:22PM Had dinner, work out and shower in that order. LOL Been making some progress with The Stand today, YAY! It is taking everything I got not to pull another book off the shelf to read along with it. So many I wanna read. It's killing me! So right now enjoying some coffee with my book. Wanna hit 500 in The Stand andI will be able to do that if I don't grab another book. LOL
Chris that makes that time so much more special then, enjoy that, especially if it keeps you sane!
Kathryn hope you got to enjoy the time at the book store with your dad! That is so awesome! :)
Rachel thanks, hub had a very relaxing day today. He took the day off as well. So he had a 2 day celebration!

It is 7:32 and I am debating on whether to kill or forgive my 53 year old husband, who bought a Harley Davidson two weeks ago and only just found the courage to tell me. I'll probably forgive him, but if he buys a gold chain or a tanning bed, I'm out of here!
7:40 PM. Dad and I had a successful trip to HPB. I got four book, but one is for Mark for his birthday next week. Dad got three books for himself. He is excited about them. Then, we all were hungry, so dad and I picked up tacos. He left to go home a bit ago. I'm thinking I want some yummy coffee and to read. :) Janie, tell Randy Happy Birthday for me! :)
Lisa, Harley is the epitome of awesome. If he lets you ride with him, I agree: forgive. I LOVE the sound that a Harley makes, that throaty growl.... *shivers*8:13 a.m. EDT Looks like I'm caught up with my sleep since I only slept about 9 hours last night. I need to put my schedule back to rights, I've been sleeping at night which isn't necessarily normal for me. Oh, well, thing'll adjust themselves...
Oh, Chuck, didn't realize you weren't aware. My pain clinic discharged me, and my doctor didn't want to deal with weaning me off, so they put me into detox and pulled me off all my pain meds. I'm talking Cymbalta now, but the dose is really too low, so it isn't really doing much for me at the moment. That's where I was last week - detox. Very unpleasant experience.
10:11AM So this AM The alarm went off at 7:45, I set it to make sure Derek wakes up for work, but I never turned it on last night because Derek does not work today. :::puzzled::: So here I am freaking out because Kay gets up at 6:30 for school. (my head is not working)I literally feel my heart trying to pound out of my chest, so I jump out of bed and run to my bedroom door say 'dammit'. When I open my door I realize it is Sunday. What a rude awakening for me! My mind needs to function better. LOL
10:34 AM. Good morning, GR! I have no idea what we are going to do today. Mark still hasn't told me what the plan is. Lol...that's typical, though. I made eggs and toast for breakfast. I guess I will go get a shower and just be ready to go if he wants to go do something. Janie, it sounds like you could use some strong coffee. :)
I'm not really that happen about it, Chuck, as I have legitimate pain, but I'll give it a try for now. I just am so tired of dealing with those jerks at the pain clinic treating me like a criminal and an addict because I needed their help.11:38 a.m. EDT I'm very happy to have my concentration back and be back to reading. That was a really long week when I couldn't read... LOL Trying to decide when to wake hubby and make him take me for some food...
12:33pm ET. Lots of rain made for lots of reading. Finished The Black Echo and have found yet another series to get hooked on. I have drank much-needed coffee, but would have loved some breakfast... humpf.
Rain makes for lovely reading time. Glad you were able to get lots of reading done. :) *Cooks Alondra breakfast* I'm a good cook, too, from what everyone tells me. :)

2:10pm just sat down after a busy morning of baking blueberry muffins and turnovers, caramel fudge brownies and now I just pulled out from the oven 2 pepperoni and cheese calzones and chili dog nachos. Kitchen is now closed until dinner....tomorrow. Ha!
2:51 p.m. and I'm watching football on mute and attempting to make progress in A Conspiracy of Paper.
