What time is it and what are you doing?
Janie wrote: "8:25PM Had a good workout tonight. Finished Promise Not to Tell, and now reading Warm Bodies, Rage's Echo, The Stand, & Game of Thrones. Yep a lot of books."I remember when you didn't think you could read more than one at a time. Look at you now. Hope you are enjoying all of them. Can't wait to see what you think of Warm Bodies.
9:40PM. Watching So You Think You Can Dance. Also, trying to decide if I want to read or go straight to bed..
Chris that us so true, I think everyone here rubbed off on me. Reading more than one allows me to do more buddy reads and I love that.
8:55 PM. I had a great run earlier, followed by a shower. Then, I talked to my daddy, and guess what?! He said he is coming home on Friday! That makes me happy. Yes, I'm a Daddy's girl, and always have been since I'm his only daughter and his youngest, but I worry about his health when he's working. :/ Anyways, I made dinner, and it was yummy. I just cleaned up the kitchen, started the dishwasher, and I'm looking forward to reading more of A Game of Thrones because I'm interested in seeing what it's all about. Last night, I only read a few pages of the prologue. I need some coffee, too...:)
9:58 p.m getting ready to put the little one to bed and then we are going to watch part 3 of Comanche Moon (a prequel to Lonesome Dove).
1:06 a.m. EDT Finished editing, now to finish this book and start on the Artesans of Albia series. Wheee. But I have a headache and a sore throat, I think I'm coming down with something. Boo.
9:42AM Had a good nights sleep. Aves is watching Bambi, I am checking GR. Read a bit more of Rage's Echo, gonna focus on Warm Bodies today though. Read another chapter in Game of Thrones last night, that is a milestone. Good morning GR.
10:51 a.m just checking in while waiting for the kid to get up. Pup is laying at my feet, I think he needs a bath. Kinda stinky... ugh. Think cat's outside. Still haven't decided what I should read, will probably try and figure that out today. Gotta get some more packing done too, it's getting closer and closer to moving time and we still don't know where we're going to go. Slowly sliding into panic mode on the inside. :\
10:27 AM. Good morning, GR! Gizmo slept with me again last night, and that always makes me sleep better! She's such a snuggle bug! Going to make some coffee, I think, and get back into Game of Thrones, then make Mark something to eat before he heads of to work.

I'm glad they don't because their new album 13 is awesome. So glad Ozzy is back with Black Sabbath, because I couldn't stand Dio.
SABBATH!!! OZZY!!! WHOOOO!!5:31 p.m. EDT Sent Dmitry off to work at 11, slept for a bit longer, now I've been going through e-mail for ages. I have a bunch of blog tours to organize and had more offers to decide on, which makes me think I'm crazy. My throat is so sore, which sucks; I hope I don't end up in the ER again with my lungs closed. I guess we'll see. At least it's supposed to cool down for a couple days this weekend, which will be nice. Poor Fluffy cat is sprawling himself on the linoleum in the bathroom as the coolest place in the duplex trying to keep cool under all that fur...
10:59pm. Went out about an hour ago to try and get in my run, but I wasn't feeling it. I'll go out tomorrow morning and hit the trails. Read the first 5 chapters of The Shining. Even though I picture the movie actors when I read the characters, it's still a great read. Good night...
12:16AM Finished Warm Bodies and wrote my review. Now I am about to dig in Rage's Echo some more before bed. I am sure I will be able to get pretty far. Then I will be working on Game of Thrones and The Stand some more and may throw in Hunger Games as well before my September reads start.
1:45 AM. I just washed my face, brushed my teeth, and hopped into bed. My love came home right at midnight, and surprised me because I had just fallen asleep on the couch. :) I made him something to eat, and we watched a tv show from the DVR. I had an excellent workout after Mark went to work, got cleaned up, then went over to my brother's house for a few hours. Then, I came home and read a few pages. I'm really hoping for a nice deep sleep tonight because I'm really tired, and hoping my Gizbear comes to bed soon. Mark's schedule is wearing me out, so thankfully there are only two nights left. Hope everyone has a nice, restful night! Goodnight, GR.......
4:23 a.m. EDT Dmitry brought me hot & sour soup when he came home, which helped with my sore throat, then went back out and picked me up some juice and stuff. I'm still feeling less than healthy, but hopefully I won't end up in ER this time O.o Finished book 1 in Artesans of Albia and ready to start book 2. Need to bring the dog in, he's been out for a long time.
10:33 a.m kitty laying on me purring, kinda watching Let's Make a Deal while waiting for the kid to get up. Tomorrow's gonna be exciting because we're going back to the flea market, and if I see that nice old trade p.b copy of
<--- this copy, I'm gonna snag it up. I have two copies of the revised version hardback, but I sold my unrevised copy I had that looked this this --->
and now I want an unrevised copy again. Shoulda never got rid of mine... I'm also gonna try and grab a p.b copy of
to send to my friend to try. She newly discovered reading as fun, and flew through the Twilight and Sookie Stackhouse series, so of course I gotta see if I can get her to try King! :)

I wasn't on about Sabbath! I was referring to the Egyptian Generals slaughtering their own people! War Pigs just summed up their mentality.

Oh, well I missed that. I will agree with your statement then. World news has been so depressing lately. Sorry I missed your meaning, my brain has not been working at top performance this week.
12:08 PM. Good morning, GR! Or, good afternoon. Haha! I've been up for awhile, catching up on GR, Facebook, and my dad has been texting me. Mark is up, so I'm going to make us some breakfast/lunch. When he leaves for work, I'm going to keep reading AGOT. I read a few pages before he got up, and I'm liking it so far. Hope everyone has a great Thursday! Two more night shifts for Mark! I'm so happy! Sean, the protesters are Muslim Brotherhood, or are supporters of MB, so I'm not sure how they are any better than the government. They are an internationally recognized terrorist organization, who have done some horrible things, and only want to kill people, destroy America, Israel, and their allies, which means Great Britain. I wrote about them a bit in my graduate thesis research, and they are just as bad as Al-Qaeda.
2:57 p.m. EDT Have been spending way too much time online the last couple of days, need to focus on reading! It's a lovely day today, sunny but cool. The kids are being dropped off by the school bus right out front; first week back to school, they're still pretty hyper about things. Someone is being yelled at, though; I guess maybe the bus driver is upset about something?
3:55 p.m. Finishing up the last bit of studying that I have to do so I can begin editing my final exam for my class. Very excited!!

My brother has just returned from Egypt and he said the people were dancing in the streets with joy about the coup, but don't you think the MB will now claim the moral high ground. Personally I think the whole Middle East is gonna' explode in the next three years. Keep your eyes on Lebanon.
9:14PM, wow I have not posted on this thread all day. Oh yea could be because we went to Amy's to take Aves home. Got home had dinner, did a short work out since it is a recovery night, then was crazy and took a swim. Had coffee and watched Warm Bodies since I just finished the book.
So I am now reading Rage's Echo, and was dumb enough to grab Dark Mountain off the shelf and read the first chapter, so now I am hooked on that as well. It totally consumed me, its great. LOL So now gonna read for the rest of the night.

9:38 PM. My run was fantastic earlier, and afterwards I got a shower. I had a TV dinner, watched one of my shows, and now that it is over, I'm thinking of making some coffee and reading some of A Game of Thrones. Mark should be home on a few hours! Yay! :)

Nice to see another runner out there Kathryn. Coffee at almost 10pm? I think I've been running myself into the ground the past month or so trying to get ready for a Marathon. I'll be happy once I can just go run on trails in the mountains again.
I just got done watching Oblivion, it was alright. Time to read an hour or so of The Shining before bedtime :)
3:15 a.m. EDT Today was Vine day, and what was the very first book on the list? Dexter's Final Cut! wOOt!! I ordered it. Of course, then I couldn't find my copy of the 6th book in the series, which I haven't yet read. Fortunately, one of my soul-sisters sent me a $10 Amazon gift certificate, so that covered most of the cost of a Kindle copy for me, so... psyched about that! This means I'll be re-reading the first five books, then reading six, and seven when it arrives from Vine next week (usually on Monday), which I've been wanting to do badly, and now I have an excuse. I love it! Still feeling sick and now my lungs are starting to clog up. Yuck. I hope they just clog and don't shut, 'cause I really don't need another ER trip... :-( I still haven't filed the charity-care paperwork for the last one. *sigh* Anyway, hope everyone has a great Friday!
12.44pm. Cooking lunch after spending the whole morning reading Hell's HorizonGonna play a pc game for a few hours then read some more :) x
8:42AM Go figure that the first morning of the week that I get to run it rains, LOL. It's ok I will let it move out and run after that. In the mean time I will have some coffee check GR and read a bit more.
Katy, hope you get better and avoid that ER trip!
11:53am EDT. Drinking coffee and browsing GR while the lawn service cuts the grass and the dog goes nuts. Another beautiful August day. Plan to get some major reading done today--been off my stride for a few days, too depressed to move. Doing better today though. Looking forward to a positive weekend and some quality time with hub. Happy Friday GR!

11:36AM YAY I got in my morning run! That makes me happy. Watched an episode of Home Makeover: Weightloss Edition. It was a good one. Now I am reading. I plan on reading both Rage's Echo and Dark mountain today. Both are very good.

Perfect timing! Never saw the show BTW. Thanks for mentioning this Katy!
11:51 AM. Good morning, GR! I slept in because we didn't go to bed until 2. I will be so happy once this last shift is over! Back to normal on Monday. I need to get some laundry done, workout, and read. Not necessarily in that order...haha! Happy Friday!
Tim, thanks! I've been really trying to get into shape. I'd like to start doing some of the weekend runs once I get a bit better. A marathon sounds fun! Maybe one day I can get there! And yep, coffee at 10 PM! It was decaf, though! I love coffee at night.
Thanks, Terri *knocking on wood* my lungs are a bit less clogged this morning, and when I cough things move, so I am hoping that this will pass as simply a cold.2:20 p.m. EDT Again some deer in the yard! I snapped a few pictures, so I'll be sure to share one once I upload them. Yesterday it was just one, but today there were two. They're such beautiful creatures.
3:00 p.m. Working on editing my story so I can send it in for my final grade. So very excited about finally finishing my close!! :-D
Good luck, Holly!6:18 p.m. EDT About to finally begin the final book in the Artesans of Albia trilogy by Cas Peace. She's really an outstanding storyteller, so looking forward to it. Plus I'm unbelievably invested in these characters... O.o Hope everyone is having a nice Friday evening/Saturday morning/afternoon or whenever it is where you are!

"Oh, I missed this post, sorry. And yay! I'll probably be starting on them tomorrow, once I finish the one I just began.
10:14pm ET. Just finished packing up my daughters car for college. I really hope this is the last time I do this... that crap is heavy!! Anyway, nice quiet weekend, hopefully. I just want to read, read and read some more. :D
