Happy Birthday, and a Sunny Day!
7:06 p.m. and I'm meeting up with a friend for a few hours. Plan to do some reading when I get home. Hope everyone had a fantastic day!
00:18am just got off the phone with my dad, so now I'll probably try and sleep or I might open my birthday cards hmmm...
Hey, very happy birthday, Jordan! Hope your day is as awesome as mine was!9:22 p.m. EDT Just finished the 2nd Hannah Smith book by Randy Wayne White, and was disappointed. It's missing a lot of the humor and warmth that made me love the first one so much. I'm hoping it was just sophomore blues and the next will be better! Going to start the 2nd Intercrime book by Arne Dahl next!

No kidding. I cannot stand him. I think he comes across as a tit most of the time, but when he wins all of a sudden he's acts like the GOAT.
12:28 a.m. EDT Feeling sleepy, think it's time for a nap. tomorrow I'm back to editing. First to finish this Daniel Black book, and then a second pass on Scott Rhine's third book in his sci-fi story. Then I'll have another from Daniel Black and probably a flash fiction from Barbara G.Tarn, so a busy couple weeks. I'll probably be quiet so I can focus, but will check in at least once a day.

The vast majority of sports stars are pretty obnoxious people, it is no doubt because they are young people, with far to much money who never learned anything at school apart from how to kick/hit/throw a ball, or run fast!
Happy Birthday Jordan!
7:47AM, Been up since 5:30AM. Aeverie went to sleep before 7:00 last night, and I was exhausted myself with on;y having 3 hours myself so I was in bed by 10 last night. SO today I wanna catch up on some reading. Have a great day everyone.

Happy birthday Jordan. I hope you have some great plans, or since you are further ahead of us in your day, I hope you had a great birthday (depending on when you read this)10:25 AM At work and flustered. I fell back asleep this morning and had to rush to get ready for work. My poor son just wanted to play with me and I didn't have time.Working till 7 so I have a long day ahead of me.
Thanks Janie and Chris! It's 4:00pm here so its quite late on but I have had a great day thanks:p4:33pm all the year 5s signed me a card and got me a present Aw they made me cry so much now just waiting for my family to come over

True. But what gets me about Murray is he'll literally cry when he loses and carry himself the way he does when he wins. He's a textbook tit.
Ah, Chris, sorry to hear about that. :-( I'm sure you'll make up for it tonight.1:17 p.m. EDT Finally crashed down about 2 a.m. this morning, and then crawled out of bed around noon. Just clearing out e-mail so I can start editing!

Thanks Katy, when I get home it will be his bedtime so I will have to settle for snuggling in his rocking chair and reading for awhile with him.
By the way you looked lovely in your picture for your birthday. I hope you had a wonderful night out. I usually prefer to cook something special for my birthday. I'm not one for going out much.

I heard he was going to be granted knighthood, lol.

They really are going to make him a Knight! Utter madness. God knows what will happen if we ever start winning at Soccer! That would be sooooo nice though, BUT we can all dream.
Happy birthday Jordan! Belated happy birthday to you too Katy! What a crazy week! Have missed chatting with you guys - hope you're all going well :)
9:24PM Well we had cheeseburgers and mac salad for dinner. Eating up 4th of July leftovers, LOL. Had a good workout, needed it since family was here last week and I only did one work out. But then again we were out nearly everyday with a ton of walking. Had my shower, and now checking in here and catching up on reading. It seems so quiet now and I miss them being here, but I am getting along ok for now.
Thanks, Michelle. BTW, thanks for the nice compliment, Chris! Hope you made it home safely to your little one.12:08 a.m. EDT didn't really sleep, but feel a bit more alive... The rain just started pouring down. It was hot and sunny most of the day, so I guess this just drove in from out of town. Just set up a blog post for Wednesday, but forgot to have the guest poster send me the pictures separately, so had to request she do that. It's about animal abuse and testing, though, and some of them are sort of graphic... *cringing* Well, I put up a warning, but if she doesn't have time to send them, well... I don't think it'll hurt my feelings any...
09.35Andy Murray hysteria still grips the nation, heard for the first time 'Murray and possible future Pope' in the same sentence, the man isn't even Catholic.LOL

He is a Scot who just won Wimbledon, the first time in 75 years a Brit has won. So the main item on the news over here is not the coup in Egypt(where my brother is at present on holiday)but TENNIS.
I know, that's been on the news over here also. First time in 75 years...well, that's one miracle. Just need one more for canonization!;-D

Don't start giving them ideas.
9:54 a.m. EDT Okay, monster-length MS #1 finished. Second Pass MS to commence after a brief period of dying...
9:41AM Not doing too much right now accept for checking on GR and FB. Gonna hit the books if Aeverie allows me that. Still missing my family and prolly will till we go to indy for Christmas. No plans for today.
12:36 PM working the closing shift so I have only been here about a half hour. Hope it is slow tonight so I can get some reading in. Working by myself after 5 tonight so looking forward to the solitude. Well I still have to deal with the rest of the staff, I'm just the only tech after 5. I'll be around all evening.
1:20PM Well so far I got almost 75 pages in, with many interruptions. LOL Oh well, what can I say. So I got further into Flowers in the Attic, I just switched back over to Stranger With my Face. Interesting plot, but a little slow.
2:41 p.m. and I just got home. So much for having a grandbaby today! Err! Doctors! They have now decided after going through all this stuff that she is starting to show signs of going into labor herself, so they send her home and tell her to give it another week. The funeral was sad. Lot of emotion. Also, it breaks by heart to see a daughter pass before her mother and father. They were heartbroken.
Doctors irk me Cindy, it seems half the time they don't even know what they are doing. I know when I had Kayla the doctor was going on vacation and wanted to induce me. I should never have agreed with it. Induction + Me= Disaster!
My heart goes out to this family Cindy. A very sad situation.

They seem to think you can take off work anytime you want Janie. Now, I get to explain this to my boss. They are so shorthanded at work that she's probably not gonna be too happy. What can you do? At least I got to stay for the whole service and visitation at the funeral.
I must have missed something, Cindy - I don't recall seeing anything about either things you mentioned. My heart goes out to the family losing a daughter. And sorry to hear about the further delay of your grandbaby! Yeah, doctors don't give a carp about anyone else's schedule. They'll keep you sitting there for HOURS and to hell with the fact that your boss is threatening to fire you if you miss any more work, you gotta be back NEXT month... GAH!5:56 p.m. EDT short nap, but need to go back to work. I hurt so badly this week. Stupid pain clinic not giving me my meds... >:-[ Still, I have some fun stuff to edit; just need to focus in and I can ignore it for a little while. Not long enough, but it helps.
Sorry to hear you are in so much pain Katy :(
Sorry you are having a rough week Katy, I hope the editing helps take your mind from the suffering. Cindy, I can understand your frustration. With our first child the Dr kept saying my wife would go any day so we were in the office every other day for check ups for two weeks. Finally my wife said she'd had enough and they broke her water and started the process. My daughter came very quickly and two and a half weeks early so it was really nice.
5:41 PM and I've hit a wall, I am struggling to stay awake. Stuck at work and desperately need coffee, energy drink, or soda to keep me from snoring at my station. I really hope this night goes by quickly.
Hope it goes quickly too, Chris. I used to work in a tech support department, and it was a cool job because we were away from the rest of the company, worked exclusively over the phone, and could do what we pleased as long as our work was done. I did a lot of web surfing in those days...6:48 p.m. EDT about to start editing again. Whee.
I get to do what I please as long as I don't get caught not working on my stuff. So yes, I hang out here a lot, read books on the Kindle cloud reader, and watch television shows. I still work closely with customers and the staff is tough to deal with and I will leave it at that. Been web window shopping right now. So many things I would like so little money. Isn't that always the way it is.
Watched THE SIMPSONS ALEX Season 6Watched ALEX CROSS quite enjoyed it, it got royally slaughtered on Metacritic, but I hadn't read the book.
8:02 PM. I have been reading a book I got free for review, and now I'm taking a break from it so I can read some in Flowers In the Attic. I had a great workout today, and Mark even surprised me by coming home early! He is outside working on the kayaks, so we haven't had dinner yet. I'm getting hungry, though...:/
8:43 pm...home finally! Did a class at the gym then Walmart. Now eating cereal, reading and watching the Rangers!
9:43PM Had Jambalaya Stuffed peppers for dinner. They were yummy! I love peppers. Had a great work out, trying to get back into the swing of things, then got in the pool for a bit. Aeverie is asleep along with hub, so now I am catching up on GR and some reading.
Katy sorry to hear about the pain.
Chris I hope your night goes by quickly.
Dan sorry to hear you are depressed. Have not seen you here posting for awhile. Hope all is well.
