What time is it and what are you doing?
4:32PM about an hour left of work and then I'm free, till tomorrow. Head to the grocery store and then home to make dinner. Can't wait to get out of here. Janie I love soup but I just can't eat it when it is this hot outside. 95 today with horrible humidity I'm melting.
11:45 p.m. and I'm gonna make an attempt to read for about 30 minutes or so. It has taken me a couple of hours to catch up on posts and emails. One day SOON we will be off mandatory overtime :)
12:06 a.m. EDT Well, like normal, I've either sat on my butt like a lump or slept all day. Editing, reading, whatever... I just refuse to move that much... LOL good thing so many of you work out to make up for my laziness! hahahaha! Oh, yeah, and drinking some COKE! mmmm
Aw Terri and Chris - hope you're both feeling better soon... hugs to you both!haha Katy about your dreams - I'm like that sometimes, in fact I scared the life out of my husband last night - I didn't realise I was dreaming and I thought there were two big spiders right above my head and I woke up screaming, throwing my pillow at the wall while jumping out of bed... took me a good few minutes to realise it was dark and I couldn't possibly see the spiders even if they were there so it must have been a dream lol, I bet I looked hilarious!
Yum Janie - I LOVE bean soup!
Sean - how good are animated films?! Enjoy :D
Kathryn - hope you had a great workout!
Alondra and Cindy - enjoy your well earned reading time :)
4.00pm very much looking forward to home time. It wasn't my day today - power went off as soon as I got to work and found out it wasn't due back on until 3pm. Everyone else left and I told my boss I'd do a few things and then go home if the power didn't come back on. Went out to do a few errands and got back at 2pm and was about to leave again and JUST as I went to leave the power came back on!!! ARGH! I couldn't bring myself to leave again I felt too dishonest lol! The worst thing is, if I hadn't stopped at the used book store for 20 minutes while I was out doing the errands I would have been home by the time the power came back on and I could have had the next three hours off work :/
8:51AM Aeverie and I sitting here this morning with GR. He makes it very hard to post sitting un my lap. He is already asking for Zuma. Will read a bit later as long as he allows. He will be going home tonight though, will miss him till the next time. I love my grand baby!
10:37 a.m. EDT OMG my brain hurts... I have 41 pages left to edit, and the guy keeps asking me to track changes, no, don't track changes, track changes, no don't track changes.... MAKE UP YOUR MIND!!! GAH! Anyway, I'm tracking changes on the last 41 pages, which is so stupid and he won't know how to accept or reject them and I'll have to do it anyway .... I just KNOW it. What a pain in the ass. I think next time I'll be booked for the next 6 months and refer him out... Unless he pays me an exorbitant extra amount, which I doubt... Hahah. Welcome to the glamourous world of editing for mental people... why do I do this to myself...Going to bed soon, I hope...
11:35 a.m. EDT Going to try to sleep now. Tiger will be sad, as he's been very happily sleeping on my leg (and sharing his fleas). Hopefully he can find another comfortable position. I need a nap before I tackle the rest of this manuscript.
10:36 AM and I just woke up. I couldn't sleep.last night after reading that damn Red Wedding in A Storm of Swords.
10:45 AM. Okay, I haven't started reading yet because I went to check on our caladiums we planted, and.....the first one has bloomed!! It's a pink and green one! Woohoo!!
12:22PM Been at work since noon and have a long night ahead of me. I am feeling better today (Michelle thanks for the Hugs :-)) and with any luck I will be 100% by the end of the week. I hate feeling miserable. Going to try to finish my audio book today, and maybe get more read on the Kindle book on my phone. I want to try to focus just on one book for a bit if I can.
19.36All my fire alarms have been going for 20 minutes, no smoke, I am completely deafened, waiting for emergency electrician.
Glad to hear you're feeling better, Chris!5:33 p.m. EDT Why is it when one is expecting a package with anticipation that the USPS cannot arrive at a reasonable effing hour? She didn't show up until quarter after 5 today! Gheesh. Still, bonus package - in addition to my e-cig I received a box of books, so ... yay! Oops, dog needs to come in, he's probably scaring the toad...
Sounds like fun, Sean... :-) I remember when that first started showing way back in the long ago when I was living in Portland. We used to watch that and Ren & Stimpy each Sunday...6:57 p.m. EDT Need to buckle down and finish this manuscript. Will need to run over it again tomorrow... but want to finish the first pass-through NOW so I can take a bloody NAP...

Ren and Stimpy was great.
7:16 PM. Finished one of the best workouts I've ever had. Then, I took a shower, and now I am going to keep slogging through Black House until Mark tells me he's ready for dinner. He ate half a bag of cookies, so that might be awhile. LOL
Kathryn wrote: "7:16 PM. Finished one of the best workouts I've ever had. Then, I took a shower, and now I am going to keep slogging through Black House until Mark tells me he's ready for dinner. 10:23 PM. Cooked dinner after Mark came in from working on the kayaks. He ate half of what I made, which, even after the half a bag if cookies, is no surprise. He's tall and skinny, so I guess it won't hurt. Haha! Anyways, cleaned up dinner, and talked to Victor for a big on Facebook, and read a few pages. Now, I'm in bed going to read more, and guess who is laying on me?! Gizmo!!! I'm a happy momma! Hoping to read several pages, or at least until my eyes won't stay open. Goodnight, GR!!!

That kills me Kathryn! Jeff is like Mark. Tall and skinny. He can eat a whole medium pizza by himself and never gain a pound.

12:17 a.m. and I might just have to pull one of those all-nighters. It's been a while since I've done that. Need to get up for work at 5:30 a.m., so what the heck. I will only be ticked off if I don't accomplish much. Then I would have lost sleep for nothing.
11:32PM Wow I was first of all shocked by the time. O: Amy should be here in about an hour to pick up Aeverie. She wanted to get him tonight after she gets off of work. Which is fine because generally I am up pretty late. I worked out early today and then had a salad for dinner and took Aeverie to the playground after that. He loves it there. I think he may have fell asleep with Pawpaw watching Rio. Read Black House this morning and got to Pg. 400, need to read more and hit 450 at least. I just wanna finish it is all. LOL
6:06am getting dressed, today's sports Day so hopefully it will he nice and warm considering I'll be outside all day!
08.22Saved the Earth from Alien Invasion, no need to thank me it's all in a day's work for a Space Cadet, then again that was a dream!
08.23
Got out of bed.
Chuck wrote: "Terri, you really should read Under the Dome. Do you have it?"
No, Chuck, I don't have it. I have a long list of reserves at the library, adding this to it. That's OK, though, I have plenty to keep me busy.
7:51am EDT. Finally up and catching up on GR after 2 days sick in bed following tooth extraction--bad reaction to antibiotic. Had really strange dreams for 2 days--vivid and frightening. In the last one I was in India and responsible for keeping a commune free of poisonous bugs and snakes which were RAMPANT!! Too creepy and crawly, woke up with skin itching. The best one was in France where I was with Julia Child and she was teaching me how to make sweet and savory tarts. (She's as much of a hoot in my dreams as she was in real life!) It ended when she sent me off to buy some Cognac. Really cool. I hope to get back to reading today and catch up on some chores. Sounds like everyone on GR is doing pretty well.
Happy Sports Day, Jordan!

Chris, my husband does the cooking, too! Of course, he frequently eats at work (he works at a Dairy Queen) and then is surprised to come home and find me hungry because there was nothing to snack on around here... O.O Hehe. Anyway, I usually keep something to munch on, even if I don't eat a "real" meal for a couple days.7:48 a.m. EDT Finally gave up trying to sleep. I swear this has to be the most complicated editing job EVER and it's all 'cause this dude keeps changing his mind! GAH! *sigh* So, it'll just have to be finished next week, 'cause at this rate there is NO WAY it'll be done by tomorrow morning. Oh, well! On a happier note, it sounds like the next Pantheons book (which I worked on earlier this month) will be released soon, and that'll be exciting. Off to clear out e-mail!
Oh, wow Terri. Sounds like some really interesting dreams! Heh. Anyway, glad you're back up and around, sorry about the bad reaction :-(
9:38AM Good Morning to my GR friends. Amy did not come last night for Aeverie. It's ok he was peacefully sleeping anyway. She will be here today to pick him up. He is presently watching Madagascar 2. He loves those movies. Hub off today, son at work, Kay still asleep. I will be reading here soon if Aeverie allows.
Terri those are some vivid dreams. Sorry you had a reaction to your antibiotics. Glad you are better now.
In this house I am the cook LOL. It's ok though I don't mind, and I always see that my family appreciates it. That makes it worth all the more.

10:46 a.m. EDT Okay, so Erasmus and Tiger are sleeping to my left and looking at me with hurt expressions every time I move and disturb them. Dmitry is snoring to my right, and periodically elbowing me. This is why I prefer to sleep in the day y'all... LOL But I slept all night, so ... c'est la via.
Those are some interesting dreams Teri. I kind of like the one about protecting the town from bugs and snakes. Kind of paints a superhero picture of you. Way to kick bug butt. Sean thank you for saving the world from destruction in your dreams. You have done the world a great service.
I wish my dreams were that cool. I only dream that I am at work still. It is terrifying.
I love to cook and it is a great stress reliever. Sometimes I bring in a chair so my son can stand on it and watch/help me cook, and other times I put on headphones and listen to books or music while I cook and try to unwind.
9:51AM and I am working (shocking I know). Looking forward to getting off work so I can run and pick up some reserves at the library and get cooking. Have friends coming over for our usual Thursday night dinner. I am also missing my family a lot right now. Hope everyone is doing well. I'll be around all day.
Cindy, hope you got some rest and you have a great day! :)Terri, so sorry to hear about your allergic reaction. Hope you are feeling better. Also, hope your tooth pulling went well. I had all four impacted wisdom teeth removed when I was 18. Worst pain of my life. My mouth looked like someone beat me up. I looked like Nemo from Finding Nemo.
Jordan, happy Sports Day! What is that anyway?? Lol
Chris, hope you have a great day, and also are able to get some reading done!
Janie, hope you get some reading done! Trying to catch up to you in Black House.
10:03 AM. Made some coffee, and now I'm going to read Black House. I'd like to be finished with this by tomorrow night, but it most likely wont happen. I will try, though. Gizmo and Pepper are happy, Mark is at work, so all is good in my home. :)
Kathryn I had all my wisdom teeth out when I was 18 as well and they were also impacted. They had to remove part of my jaw to get the bottom ones out. Thankfully I didn't bruise like you did but I bleed a lot and the pain was not fun. Good luck with your reading as well.
I had a dentist want to remove my wisdom teeth when I was 19, but they all fit, so I left them be. One is broken back there, but otherwise, they're all still in place.

I know I'm working my way through animated films, but I will NOT be watching any film about Mermaids or Ponies.
Apparently Tim Allen did voice it, he did not voice the series.

I agree, no mermaids or ponies. I love kids movies, I am always excited to take my son to see those so I can have an excuse.
I thought Patrick Warburton did the movie too. Well it has been a long time since I saw it. What is next on your list?
I dunno, I went to The Little Mermaid in the theatre with my first ex-husband we both enjoyed it a lot. "Under the Sea" is pretty rockin' stuff...

LOL, and Awe!!!Glad to hear your husband is a keeper Katy. I feel that way about my wife. Guess we are both pretty lucky people.

Just watched CHICKEN RUN. I am currently working my way through all animated features of 21st Century, I'm just an aging hippie geek! I do look cool with grey in my beard though. Always look on the bright side.
