Ah, a couple Excedrin will probably do the trick. When I lived in Minneapolis I had chronic daily headaches - basically a single non-stop headache - for something like 4 years. They ended shortly after I moved to Georgia. Not sure if it was the change in elevation, the change in living circumstances and conditions or what.

Cindy, I hope the pain eases. Kidney stone pain is the worst pain I've ever had, and I've had 11 abdominal surgeries, childbirth twice, and assorted broken bones. Feel better!
Katy, I hope you feel better too. Glad you found some shoes!
11:11pm EDT. Getting ready to spend the night reading. Hope everyone else is tucked in and able to sleep!

10:30PM Hub is settled into bed, and I will be reading some more. I think I will read a bit of Four Past Midnight. I have moved on to the second story in there. Black House has picked up some, so that is a plus, but still taking a break from it.
The bike ride was good. We had a nice breeze so we managed to not get too hot whilst peddling away an hour or so. LOL
Cindy and Katy hope y'all start feeling better. I can't even imagine the kidney stoned Cindy, never had them nor do I get many headaches.

10:47PM. Had a nice, busy weekend with my sweet husband. Today, we got Mark a new watch and did a few errands. By the time we get home, it was hot, so we rested a bit. Then I did the dishes and got dinner started. I watched a movie, or part of it. My dad came over, and I helped Mark out some primer on the kayaks. We had dinner and it was soooo good. We put another layer on the kayaks, had dessert, and then, my dad went home, and we have been watching tv. Going to try to read some before bed, but if not, Mark will be at the hospital all week, so, I'll get some reading in. :)
The Excedrin (and your collective positive energy) helped, so I'm feeling much better! Terri, I'd heard that about kidney stones, that they're really painful. *knocking on wood* that I don't add that experience any time soon!12:23 a.m. EDT Giving away Grasping at Eternity over at my blog if anyone is interested. Also if we have any YA fans or authors here, I'm helping TeamNerd Reviews spread the word about a promotion they're putting together for July here. Probably take a nap before too much longer, but will depend; I developed a case of the hiccups so have been drinking a Coke (sugar water does away with hiccups lickety-split), so the caffeine might keep me up for awhile longer. We'll see!
2:17am EDT. Still reading and (obviously) hanging out on GR.
2:40 a.m. EDT Think I"ll be crashing soon. Been awake too long and I have editing to do tomorrow. Really should've read the first book in the series before I edited the sequel, but had other things I Needed to read... oh, well. He said I didn't need to worry about continuity, so I just won't.
11:28 AM. I have been reading Black House a little this morning. I need to get some laundry going so I think I will take a quick break and do that now. Then, I will keep trudging through Black House......
5:32pm just got home from a trip with the year 5s going for a nice relaxing bath then I'll work out then read in bed until I go to sleep
2:09 p.m. EDT Need to figure out what reading to have for my few minutes between editing. Maybe finally read all these M.T. McGuire books I have here... yeah, that'd probably be good. Anyway, still feeling sort of tired, so I'll probably take a nap before I do any major work on my editing, but we'll see! Hope everyone is having a good Monday or Tuesday if you're across the date line from me!
5:42 p.m. and dinner is almost done. Read a few pages of the book I've been reading FOREVER and just updated my status on that one. Still need to take a shower and pick a friend up at 7. Hope everyone is having a great day!
4:52PM Just had dinner. Hub made us home made pancakes, they are very good. Will work out here in about another hour. Been reading Hannibal Rising. It's an ok read, does not compare to the other 3 in the series though. This also gives me a nice break from Black House. But will get back to that soon. Will probably finish Hannibal Rising tonight, at least by the morning.
Kay has a friend over, and Aeverie is also here. So I will try to finish my book this evening. LOL

8:45am and I have already started work. Seems strange here I am starting my day and some of you are having dinner and about to settle in for the night :)
7:02PM had my workout and shower, and now I am enjoying some coffee and will read some more, although Aeverie is in here with a movie, so I will try and read. LOL
8:34pm ET. Ready to read, then a meeting in the morning... i hate working, i think i would rather win the LOTTO! :D
11.47am Just popped down to the post office and my copy of The Ocean at the End of the Lane had arrived - yay!! Can't wait to read it! While I was there I noticed John Dies at the End in the cheap shop next door for $4 - double yay! It's been on my to-read list for a while so I was stoked to find it so cheap. Having a pretty stress free day at work. My husband and I are looking at buying a house at the moment and I'm so excited I'm having trouble keeping my mind focused on anything else! I have an appointment with the bank next Tuesday... hope the time goes quickly!
Have a great day/night everyone :D
10:37 p.m. and I'm checking posts, reading for a bit, and then off to bed. Pain has been much more manageable today thank goodness.

9:48 p.m. Just getting home from book club. Enjoyed our talk about the book "Loving Frank." Reading for a bit, then going to bed.
10:20PM Ended up taking Aeverie to the playground once I finished coffee. Kay has a friend over so she has not been very accepting of Aeverie this evening, so taking him to the playground was good for him. Then I got into Under the Dome a half hour late, and Aeverie sat with me and fell asleep. Guess it was boring for him LOL. So he is tucked into bed. Now I am gonna finish here and read some more.
10:46 PM and I'm just now watching Under the Dome. We taped it so we could watch it commercial free. Got to love the DVR. I think a re-read is in my future. I don't remember some of the stuff so far. Maybe it is memory failure and maybe it was changed for the show. Watched the season finally of Hannibal a few days ago and loved it. Can't wait for the series to return.
Sharon wrote: "8:45am and I have already started work. However, when most people over here are settling in to bed, I'm just waking up and ready to do my editing in the middle of the night! :-)
11:48 p.m. EDT And as I said, I'm up and ready to edit once I clear out the e-mail. Did not want to wake up because I was dreaming Bill Cosby and his family were taking me out to some fancy restaurant to eat and their hairdresser was going to do my hair... :-) Erasmus had been relentlessly trying to wake me up since about 9 p.m. and I kept falling back asleep, but of course once a dream is interrupted, it's usually gone. Sometimes I'll manage to start one back up, but not too often...

12:34 a.m. EDT Almost done with e-mail, although I need to go through the day's blogs, and then I'll be editing!
11:40 PM. I worked out for an hour, and right after I finished, Mark came home. I took a shower, then made dinner: cheese ravioli with Alfredo sauce and sautéed fresh green beans. Did the dishes, and worked on laundry. Then, the first episode of Under the Dome came on, so we watched it. It's not too bad. Afterwards, I worked on laundry again, and am excited to say the last load is in the washer!!!!!! Woohoo!!!! Ready to go read in bed, so I'm off to brush my teeth and get Gizmo girl to snuggle. Goodnight, GR!!!!!
Sharon wrote: "Your a busy lady Katy hope you find time for some sleep :)"I slept most of the day... :-)
1:33AM Just finished Hannibal Rising. It was pretty good, just not as good as the first 3 were. Definitely worth the read though. I suppose tomorrow I will get back into Black House, but right now I am going to bed. Good night GR and sleep tight!
08.47There was a programme on the tv last night, THE MAN WITH THE 10 STONE TESTACLES, who ever said that television was dumbing down?
Very cool, thanks for sharing Sean!4:17 a.m. EDT Went to Steak 'n' Shake for some grub. Mmm. But I'm feeling a bit ... ugh. So annoying. So some promethazine it is, then. Thank goodness my primary care physician will give them to me for when meclizine just doesn't do it. Have a bit of a headache, too. Guess I'll go to sleep fairly soon, and hope to feel better and be able to tear through this manuscript then...
8:45AM Beautiful morning! Just had breakfast, still debating on coffee. Hub and son at work, Kay still asleep, she up late with her friend last night. Aeverie watching a movie, but I am sure he will soon be bugging for me to play Zuma LOL.
Yay for 300 Members!

8:55AM Working today and really wishing I wasn't Got a mild sinus infection and where I feel better today It is more frustrating at work for some reason. I liked Under the Dome last night and I am looking forward to next weeks episode. To early to tell if this is going to be as good as the book.
Katy I hope you feel better as well. I am jealous though, I love Steak and Shake. It just hasn't been in the budget lately. I did buy their chili in the can at the grocery store and it was really good.
9:07 AM. Today, I will be focusing on Black House. Right when I got out of bed this morning, I put the last load of clothes in the dryer. I just have fold and put away today! Woohoo!! Might need some coffee to get me going, after all. Happy Tuesday, GR!!!
Chris, sorry to hear about the sinus infection. Glad you're feeling better than you were! Steak 'n' Shake is good, but the one here hasn't quite hit their stride yet - they've only been open for a few months. At least they're open 24 hours now! 12:13 p.m. EDT Only slept a few hours, so I'll edit until I send Dmitry off to work. Tiger is sleeping in the window today since Dmitry is hogging the bed and won't let Tiger sleep on his pillow. Big meanie...
11:20AM Yep Aeverie came in asking to play Zuma, do I know my grandbaby or what? So then he had lunch and was watching a movie and now he came back in and sitting in my lap. Not sure when I will get to read more today. LOL
12:25pm EDT. Just got back from the dentist where I had a tooth pulled. It actually wasn't too bad but the pain is starting now and I'm bleeding more than I should be. Yay for pain meds and ice bags! I haven't read Under the Dome but I'm seeing so much about it I wonder if I should give it a try. Didn't watch the TV show--there's really very little TV I do watch.
Katy, loved your Cosby dream. I love it when I remember my dreams. I think they say a lot. Happy editing!
Chris, glad your sinus infection is better. What a drag to be at work in a job you don't like. Hope the time flies by.
Michelle, awesome about the house!! I really liked John Dies at the End.
300 members--WooHoo!

Teri, I hope your pain comes down and doesn't make things to difficult. I remember having my wisdom teeth out and the bleeding was bad, but the pain wasn't as much as I thought it would be. Under the Dome was a good book but very long. I think you might enjoy it.
Yes it is tough enough to work at a job I hate on a good day, it is even worse with the pain, pressure and just feeling crappy, but I have a kindle book on my phone and it has been slow. I've kept quite to not disturb my throat and I have gotten to read. Not all bad.
Terri, sorry about the tooth. I love most of my dreams; I have some really crazy, funky ones sometimes. I tend to lucid dream frequently; one time the dream I was in was so awesome that when I felt myself waking I grabbed the person beside me and begged them to keep me in the dream... LOL12:59 p.m. EDT Almost done with e-mail, then editing for a couple hours, then a nap... I'm so exhausted lately!
7:00pm about to do my workout then I'll read for a while, hoping to make a decent dent in my book because I haven't been able to read much the past two days
Jordan wrote: "7:00pm about to do my workout then I'll read for a while, hoping to make a decent dent in my book because I haven't been able to read much the past two days"I know how you feel. I have a Kindle book and Audio I can read at work, but the actual book have is impossible to get to. That is the book I have been looking forward to for a year and I am only 100 pages in. Have a good workout and good luck with your reading.
2:43 p.m. EDT Feeling sleepy again, and the author just sent back the first 7 chapters with more changes, so I'll have to go BACK and do that over... wheeee.
Thanks Chris, just finished the workout it was pretty intense! I know what you mean it can be so awkward just to squeeze in 5 minutes7:45pm phew! beat my personal best for push ups and crunches so very proud of myself, now to settle down in bed with my book
4:17PM Just had dinner, home made bean soup, we all love it and it is inexpensive! I am all for that. Will work out in about an hour or so. Might Take Aeverie back to the playground, we will see. Have not read any today so I am about to read a bit before work out.
