Katy (katyas-69) | 1731 comments Thanks, Kathryn. My migraines are few and far between nowadays *knocking on wood* but I used to have clusters that would last for days. Yuck. Last time I had one of those on day 7 I went in for acupuncture and that kicked it right out. Lovely. Haven't had much luck with those "stop a started migraine" drugs. Imetrix actually made a new one start on top of the old. O.o

1:16 a.m. EST almost done with all the e-mail that piled up today so I can start editing. Gheesh...

8:07am EST. Just had my morning walk and now it's started to rain. Supposed to have some thunderstorms which I really enjoy. Waiting for dentist to call back about a major filling I lost last night. Probably will have to have another root canal. Yuk. Victor, I really enjoyed 13 Reasons Why--hope you like it. Kathryn and Janie, I'm really envious of your ability and dedication to working out. I'm just not physically able. I'm doing some stretching and strengthening exercises, but my leg/hip really limit what I can do. Finished a reread of Watership Down last night, now reading Me Before You which is pretty good so far. Should have a lot of reading time today. Off to start the laundry and make some more coffee. Have a good day everyone!

Katy (katyas-69) | 1731 comments Terri, we had some thunderstorm this morning, too! Heh.

10:21 a.m. EST Wow, that book REALLY drug me in, I didn't stop editing but a couple times to check e-mail and I just tore through it. I can't wait until this one is out, it's going to be so awesome!!! S.L. Madden, folks, you want to read his books... :-)

message 4954: by Kathryn (new)

Kathryn (kcanty313) | 1870 comments 9:38 AM. Have been up for a while. Right now, I'm reading and drinking coffee, and hoping to make a dent in my book.

Katy (katyas-69) | 1731 comments 10:44 a.m. EST Well, done editing but still wide-awake, guess I'll finish this book and then see how I'm feeling. Might have another MS to work on later this week, but otherwise guess I'll do some reading!

10:45AM Plan to finish Burned today if the grand baby lets me. LOL About to go make myself and omelet sandwich, love them. Aeverie is still asleep due to a late nap which I though was him going to bed for the night, boy was I wrong. Gonna get some reading done before he wakes up.

Terri have you tried yoga? Sometime that is prety tame but can still do your body some real good.

message 4957: by Katy (new)

Katy (katyas-69) | 1731 comments 12:56 p.m. EST Well, finished that book, about to start another, but can't log into Shelfari to add my review/update my books being read... irritating... Well, maybe next time...

5:41PM Took Aeverie to the playground this afternoon. He always loves to go. Had sandwiches again for dinner. Nothing really healthy to eat in the cabinets, ugh grocery store trip. Farmers Market on Thursday too. That is exciting. Gonna work out here in about 15 min. Gonna have my second cup of coffee. Then after work out I will read! Aeverie has been stubborn with that today lol but you gotta love him.

Ella | 108 comments 6:51pm. Glad to be home after a wretched day at work. Dealt with annoying people on the phone and fixing others mistakes set my groove back quite a bit. Relaxing on the couch now and then read. Is it Friday yet? :/

I know exactly what you go through. I deal face to face with issues all day as well and I am so burnt out. I still have 2 hours left of my shift tonight and I am itching to get home. Hope the rest of your week goes better that today Ella.

7:20 PM and I can't wait to get home and have a late dinner. Also get to spend some time with my wife tonight. I have tomorrow off so I am really excited to get out of work and start enjoying that.

Ella | 108 comments Hope it goes by fast for you so you can get home to your family! Meh..it's a job. Love my coworkers and my boss however. I'd go insane without their support and sense of humor! We do crack jokes in between the madness and stress when we can. Have a great and day off!

Kathryn (kcanty313) | 1870 comments 7:54 PM. Had another awesome workout. Got cleaned up and went to the grocery store for a few things. Made dinner, consumed it, and cleaned the kitchen. Mark is watching a movie, and I'm going to read. :) mmmmmm.....coffee sounds good right about now......;)

9:52PM Enjoying some honey tea and my book, getting close to finishing it. It is another very thought provoking tale by Hopkins. I have certainly grown to love her work.

Awww Rachel I know how you feel I recently lost one of my dogs just after Christmas. They become such a part of our family.

message 4970: by Katy (new)

Katy (katyas-69) | 1731 comments Aw, Rachel, so sorry :-( I still occasionally cry over a rat I lost 7 years ago. Our little furballs crawl into our heart and never leave.

2:30 a.m. EST Well, I sure have a ton of e-mail to go through again... people are so busy on Facebook... Finally have that 2nd pass for E.J. Dabel in my inbox, so that's what I'll be doing later!

9:41AM Well the AC seems to be out this fine morning have to text Hub and let him know. Both parts are running, the inside unit and outside, so that at least is good. So I shut down to fan only. Hub is good with AC so I am sure he will figure it out when he gets home. I sure it is not gonna be spendy to get it fixed.

message 4975: by Kathryn (new)

Kathryn (kcanty313) | 1870 comments 11:17AM. I have been up for a while, just now getting to GR. Going to focus on reading and getting laundry done. Stayed up kind of late reading, but it was worth it! Happy Wednesday, GR!

message 4976: by Katy (new)

Katy (katyas-69) | 1731 comments Sean, I really do agree...

Janie, hope your hub can fix your AC, I know how miserable it is without it!

1:02 p.m. EST Tried to sleep but was too hungry, finally gave up and ordered some lunch, which should be here any moment. Then I'll edit until I digest and try another nap.

Well not sure but he thinks the valves burned out on the compressor which means new 'expensive' compressor. We are hoping it is under the year warranty even though it was a used unit. We have a year till the 22nd of this month, so keep your fingers crossed. We really can't afford a compressor right now.

1:51 p.m. EST Received some awesome e-books from S.L. Madden for my editing, and it sounds like some great physical books on their way, too :-) Was VERY excited to receive NOS4A2, which means I can finally read it! wOOt!

Chris (cbrunner11) | 674 comments 6:51PM and I'm sweating like crazy, but relaxing with some beer and good music while I grill for dinner. Brats and burgers tonight. Haven't read at all today. Enjoyed my nap after running errands. The whole family took a nap today and it was nice. I might try to read while outside grilling on my phone.

Janie, I hope you can get your AC fixed. I'd die with out it. I don do well with the heat and I don't live in Texas.

Kathryn (kcanty313) | 1870 comments 9:42 PM. I did a lot of reading today, as well as getting a few loads of laundry done and dishes. I got a great workout, and I made teriyaki chicken, rice, peas, and egg rolls. It was yummy. I cleaned up dinner, and I've been reading. Almost done with Rebecca. I hate to leave this read. Going to eat my grapes, and finish my book...:(

10:55 p.m. and struggling to find time to read. We are now on mandatory overtime at work to include seven days if necessary. Gonna attempt to get a bit further in The Next Time You See Me tonight so that I can start Black House on my buddy read tomorrow. Don't have a lot of time tonight because I have to get up so early, but we'll see how it goes. Hope everyone is doing well!

Really hoping I can start spending a bit more time on here as missing it for the last couple of weeks makes me realise how much you all add to my life, I don't feel the same when I'm not in regular contact with you all!

Though, I've only re-read one or two other books. LOL. Guess I will go to bed now. Will start Black House tomorrow with the group. Looking forward to it since I haven't had a group read in a while. :)

Janie, I love Farmer's Markets. I haven't found one here yet, but it makes me want to find one close by since you mentioned it. :)
