no real preference for me Lorraine, apart from perhaps not a day when my bloomin internet keeps kicking me off like it did during stu's *sigh*not that i expect you can do anything about that !
oooo - and i best get reading Marc's book i spose !
and don't forget to work in YOUR preference too Lorraine - cos you do a lot of hard work :)
Thanks Kath, we usually go by the writer's choice as I'm home every evening (yep, no social life, me), and Marc is available more or less any day, so instead of choosing at random, we'd see if there are any preferences among members.Sorry your internet is playing up :( That sucks when it happens. I can remember on the afternoon of the first live event, my phone line went down for an hour. I don't think I panicked so much in my life lol !
oopsie !yeah me too re the social life - apart from the very odd occasion (and when i am staying at my mum's lol)
my internet is randomly intermittent - though at the moment it reconnects more/less straight away. some days it is fine, others it does it loads! isp says it's the phone line, phone provider say it's my internet box - that old story, sigh! neither will do anything unless i let them in the house to test it live and i cba with that until it gets much worse!
Yea we've had that problem not long ago, kept going back and forth. Eventually got fed up and bought a new hub thingy, and it worked !
yeah - i think it is my box thing too. i should be due new stuff from isp when they upgrade their system which i think is soonish. in the mean time i am just praying it holds on lol.
I'll pray for it too Kath :)Thanks Patti :) Live event on a friday or saturday = good excuse for a lie in the next morning. Good point :)
I have a belief that the Internet is busiest at 7pm on Sunday. I can't substantiate the claim but forums seem to be particularly active.

I think Fridays drew up more people, but I can't say for sure as there are lurkers :) I agree with Simon, not many people around on Saturdays...
Katy, your questions are fab x

No I was just surprised at the statement, that's all.
Any night is fine with me as given plenty notice I just arrange my schedule around the date! I love flexi-time working.
Ummm, I wasn't saying you had to take the slightest bit of notice of me. Just putting in my six penneth worth.
Not sure I understand what you're saying... trying to work, short night, fuzzy brains and lack of chocolate... Are you saying that Sunday is worth a try?
Ok... I think the weekends have been pretty much no-nos from the start... So we'll stick to weekdays :)
I was agreeing with Simon that Sunday evenings are usually quite busy in the group.I certainly don't expect you to fit the live events round my schedule.
This time difference is a pain in the butt.
The clocks here go back next weekend. When do they go back there?
Mondays and thursdays are drama club rehearsal nights, so mostly out as far as I'm concerned (do occasionally get a night off but it's not all that predictable). Two tuesdays a month are writers group. But other than that I'm a sad little no-life... ;)

Now that we've had live events at various points during the week, we're wondering what's the best day of the week for the next live event to happen.
We're not doing a survey, and we're aware that things change from one week to another... But so we can gauge when's the best day, would anybody be happy to give suggestions, say what days are no-nos and maybe what day they'd prefer it to happen?
That'd be a great help, thanks in advance !
