Dale Husband (seeker_alpha) | 5 comments The War Is Language 101: Short Works by Nath Jones is a collection of short fictional writings, apparently in random order, about a wide variety of topics, including politics, women's issues, and other social problems. It may appear to be light reading at first, but a close examination reveals a profound depht to the works that makes some of them highly memorable. Examples of quotes from it include:

"I can do nothing limitless, but I can do so many limited things."

"Don’t worry about MSNBCNNFOX boxes."

"There are many other values that we project onto the concept of financial independence. (Isn’t that whole idea passé?)"

"Give up your mind. It has no cultural currency—certainly not any bearing on the mating game—where bullfighters reign supreme."

"Currently, the public school media political church
system in America breeds a bunch of dumbasses who have virtually no ability to assimilate facts into opinion."

"Dear Fake Advice Columnist,
Sometimes I pretend I’m stupid, because it’s cooler.

Dear Wannabe,
You’re stupid."

‎"Mama, don’t stop being a child yourself. Freud should
have kept his mouth shut."

"You are on birth control for the first fifteen years after puberty, then you come off it, and go straight to the fertility clinic."

Other books by this author include:

2000 Deciduous Trees: Memories of a Zine

Love & Darts

Norma L.

Dale Husband (seeker_alpha) | 5 comments There are two editions of the first book mentioned above:

http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/14...

http://www.goodreads.com/book/show/10...

The author has requested these two entries be combined, and I found only a librarian can do this. Could someone do it for her?

Cait (tigercait) | 4988 comments I've combined the editions. Is there another edition or book which needs to be added?

Not that I am aware of, but if Nath tells me I will pass on the message. Thanks for your help, Cait.

Dale Husband (seeker_alpha) | 5 comments The author has a new request regarding The War Is Language 101: Short Works. She says, "Maybe there's a way to get the new cover to show up as the visual cue. Maybe there's a way to delete the old one or something. Not sure."

Can a librarian also do something about making sure viewers also see the cover of the new edition first rather than the older one whenever they look up the book itself?

The most-often shelved edition/cover is the one that shows as the default. Once more people shelve the new cover, it will be the one that shows up first in a search.
