Also gotThe Bodies Left Behind, by Jeffrey Deaver, The Quiet Game, by Greg Iles, In Search of Eden, by Linda Nichols. And Guilty as Sin, by Tami Hoag. I am very excited about them.

I just pre-ordered Dr Sleep from amazon. I am one who has to have the Hard Cover of King's books so I order early so I can possibly get a first edition.
Holly wrote: "Greg Iles is awesome! :-D"I hear that a lot. I guess I'll have to give him one more shot.
Janie wrote: "Oh yes Michelle I love Greg Iles! He has some good ones. Maybe we can buddy read it. ;)"Sounds great Janie, just let me know when you're ready to go. I haven't read any of his work before so I'm really looking forward to it :)
I just picked up I Am Legend
Only seen half of the Will Smith and didn't like it, but I'e heard good things about the book.
I really liked the movie! I have contemplated myself on whether or not to by the book. I will eventually I am sure.

The book is very different.
Just noticed what a mess that sentence was."Only seen half of the Will Smith movie and I didn't like it, but I have heard good things about the book."
Thanks Chris, I'm going to read it soon.

Cheryl, many people love that book. Infact, at the 2012 Bram Stoker awards it won the award for best vampire novel of the 20th century. I however, did not like it. But go a head and read it at your leisure. LOL.
Janie wrote: "well i need to do a bit of a catch up. The soonest I could read it it is prolly march"Sounds good, I have stacks to keep me busy until then!
Yesterday I purchased a brand new copy of Jessica from the local hospital op shop for $2! I read this book about 15 years ago - I picked it up one afternoon and couldn't put it down - I read all night until I finished it and struggled to stay awake at school the following day. This is a story that has stuck with me over the years, it affected me so much that I've had trouble bringing myself to re-read it. I'd actually been thinking about it and then found it in the op shop so decided it must be fate! Definitely in my top three favourite novels of all time, I'm both dreading and looking forward to reading it again!

It sounds incredibly powerful and provocative. Plus if it's resonated this long, and had THAT much of an impact on you, I just have to read it! It's now on my "to-read" list. Thank you!!
