What books have you bought lately?
I ordered 2 book journals and got them today. One is for my niece to instill the love of reading again. School is ruining reading for her, and I hate that. These journals are fantastic.
found this over the weekend! it's been on my tbr for a while now so i was very excited to fine it. :)
Enjoy your books guys! I have been reading the Dreamhouse Kings Series and thinking there was only 4 books to the series, I found and bought 2 more to the series only then to discover neither one was #3 which I need now. LOL And then discovered there is indeed 6 books to the series, not 4 or 5. LOL Looks like I will be ordering book 3 and 6.
the books i ordered came in today! i adored both of these when i read them, so i'm very happy to have them on my shelf. <3
Last week I treated myself to some books by David Mark. Now I own the complete MacAvoy series. All I gave to do is find the time to read them 😁

i bought another edition of the gunslinger! the one i had was the original version, but i wanted to read the revised edition. he's supposed to have added/changed some things to make it mesh better with later books so i'm curious to see what's different.

Janie wrote: "I wonder how many changes he made Rachel."i just started it yesterday, but i'm already noticing some bits and pieces that are changed or added. just little details so far, but the revised edition has 30 more pages so i'm guessing there's a lot more coming. :)
Ahh I see. I did not really think that anything needed to be changed. Hopefully they are good changes?
I just finished The Tattoo Thief
and
Her Last Breath
which I bought because of the reviews of book three in this series: The Embalmer
which I got from NetGalley.
A very special book arrived on my Kindle a few days ago:The Vanishing Children
because it is dedicated to my father.

i read gone girl last week, and it blew my mind so i grabbed gillian flynn's other stuff from my local ubs over the weekend! less than $15 for all of them! :D
I’m trying not to buy anything until I finish a few that I have, but i always want more books! I have been using my kindle and also borrowing digital books. Will probably downsize our house eventually so have to resist buying more books but it is hard. I like to keep them and eventually will not have room for them. I enjoy seeing everyone else’s new titles though!
I'm restraining myself a bit ;-). I bought The Nameless Ones by John Connolly
and
and
by Michal RobothamJohn Connolly is one of the authors I want all books from in print. I read the Michael Robotham books earlier as review copies but I wanted to own them too.

I did not care for the Gillian Flynn books, I mean they were certainly not the worse I have ever read, I thought they had great plot lines, but sheesh I hated the characters, especially in Gone Girl.

Janie I could not get into Gone Girl, I felt the same about the movie, it started out promising but then went downhill from there.
Visited my Aunt and Uncle this weekend, had a great time and they had some books for me!
