Janie wrote: "Hope you enjoy them Corey!"Thanks Janie, if it's Stephen King I'm sure i will enjoy them!
Corey, I'm doing okay for the part. How do you put pictures of your books on here? Do you use your phone?
I bought
Janelle: just above the comment box you see: add book/author. Click and a little menu pops up. Search for the title of the book, click on 'add'.
Oh. okay. Thanks ladies! I'll have to do it from the computer because my Goodreads app on the phone doesn't show those options.
Janie wrote: "Janelle you also have to be sure and tick one of the choses 'Link or Cover'."Thank you Janie, I'm sorry for this mistake in my text.
Gavin wrote: "Ordered The Three-Body Problem. Still on my sci fi kick, and this one looked really interesting."Hey Gavin, I keep hearing about this book. First from a Chinese colleague of min (and SF fan) and then at various sites. I think I must go and find me a copy too.

No problem Jannelies.

No problem Jannelies.
For a large part of my life, I was torn between my love of books and the fact that they were so expensive. So I bought books secondhand or went to the library. Being a reviewer helped too, especially before the invention of the e-reader or the tablet computer ;-).
But now, although I'm fully aware Amazon didn't invent the Kindle-app just for fun but to sell more books, I am really very happy. I still own a lot of books, more than I listed here on GR, but now free or cheap books are at my fingertips ;-)
I've downloaded quite a few books the past weeks, among which an interesting book about Nicola Tesla, several classics that I already own in paper and some titles I read about here on GR. Since my eyesight is not good, it keeps getting more and more difficult to read fine print, so that is why I download classics that I already own. To be able to enlarge the font size is great for people like me.
Some titles I bought:
The wall - I.C. Cosmos
Fields' guide to abduction - Julie Mulhern
The Perfect Roommate - Minka Kent
Pen Pals and Serial Killers - Jo Michaels
Watching - Blake Pierce
One last prayer for the rays - Wes Markin
His hand in the storm - Rithu Seti
Do no harm - Edwin Dasso
The Tourist - Olen Steinhauer
Nearest Exit - Olen Steinhauer
An American Spy - Olen Steinhauer
Bloodman - Robert Pobi
The Passengers - John Marrs
My lovely wife - Samantha Downing
Now the only thing I have to do is find the actual time to read them ;-)

Thank you Andrea! Yeah I enjoyed the movie The Green Mile, so I just had to buy the book!! And my Mom is starting The Nightingale tonight!
Corey the nightingale is next on my to read list, I’ve been wanting to get to it because I’ve heard it’s very good.
I've had some trouble finding some of the books on my TBR shelf at the local book stores, so I took to the internet and came away with a pretty nice haul. 🙂
