Part of my "Tomes" challenge for 2017. I'm going to have 10 titles, each at least 1,000 pages when originally published. So far I have 7 of the 10 books.
I got The Executioner's Song from a recommendation and someone recommended Centennial to me; unfortunately, it was published at 909 pages, but it made me realize that I've never read a James Michner book, so I will have one of those on the list (I'm leaning towardsThe Source, but that's not definite yet).
Wow those are some big books Squire. Good luck on getting the others you need and getting them read.

Nothing was on television on this rainy Saturday. Why? Duh...It's a rainy day and it's the perfect day for reading. I went to the library to pick up my library request "The Traveling Vampire Show" by Richard Laymon. I can already tell this is going to be good. I'm suprised that the loan is a first edition #6 and signed! Oh my stars! This book should be in a glass case and not circulating!
So I met up with Susan today at the book store and guess what? YES! You are right, I bought books LOL So today I got
Quietus
After She's Gone
Night And Day
Ashley Bell
I also have books coming from Thriftbooks. com. Most are Liane Moriarty books. I also bought books last week from the UBS. I will have a haul video soon.

It had been a couple of months since we had been able to get together due to things going on with both of our families along with time constraints. It is always good to see her no matter how long it has been.
