I picked up Nightmare House for .99 on iBooks (same price on Amazon). I also used a credit on Audible for The Secret Place. I'm currently reading Broken Harbour, so will be set to finish the series once I'm done.
Janice, a few of us are starting that series next month! I am looking forward to getting into it.
Janie wrote: "Janice, a few of us are starting that series next month! I am looking forward to getting into it."I've been reading the comments on the thread. I plan on finishing the series by the middle of May, but I'll be happy to comment.
I'm a bit weirded out right now. Broken Harbour is about a family that was murdered. Yesterday, I was reading CBC's website and there were preliminary reports of a very similar situation in the neighboring province to me. There were more details today. It's a coincidence (life imitating art) that is unnerving.
Glad to have you join in the discussions with us. I can see how that would be a bit unnerving! I would feel the same way!
I scored big time today. Here is what I got for 90% off. All brand new. Clockwork Princess, Gone, Sinister, Burn, Letting Go, Giving In, Deadline, I'll Find You, Ender's Game, Tripwire, Echo Burning, One Shot, The Hard Way, Bad Luck and Trouble, Nothing to Lose, Never Go Back, The Innocent, Stay Close, Six Years, Darkest Fear, The Finisher, Angels Flight, The Twelve, Afterburn & Aftershock,Reflected in You, Entwined with You,Captivated by You, Video Kill, Into the Dark, Girl Missing, Hopeless, The Fault in Our Stars, Fly Away, Lullaby, Something Wicked, Salem Falls, The Tenth Circle, Think Twice, The Longest Ride, and Justice for Sara.
All for right at $40.00. :)
Just bought the last 3 books in the Locke & Key graphic novel series by Joe Hill.I am soooo excited, but sad that I will be finishing the series up. I am really loving SKs son as a writer. He definitely can hold his own. :D
Holly wrote: "I just finished Gone Girl Amber and LOVED it! I hope you enjoy it as well."I just finished reading Gone Girl this morning. I liked it, but it was a little crazy.

I think you will really enjoy it. Action right from the start, with a lot of twisted elements. Trying to figure out the full mystery of the house and the "girl in the well"... great stuff. (she is not all she seems; she's more) ;)
The Kindle Daily Deal today offers the first six books of the Charley Davidson series by Darynda Jones for 1.99 each. iBooks is offering the same deal. Since I already read the first book, First Grave on the Right I picked up books 2 - 6 from iBooks.
I found Fairest and Rumble at our UBS yesterday, I was surprised to see them there but happy that they were!
A couple of new Bentley Little hardcovers from Cemetery Dance:

I went to the UBS yesterday and finally got hardcover copies of The Shining and Cujo. I also got By the Light of the Moon by Dean Koontz and The Strain by Guillermo del Toro. At the cash register they were giving out free comics so I found a cool one about zombies.

I went shopping at Chapters yesterday and got The Storied Life of A.J. Fikry and A God in Ruins. I forced my sister to get City of Women. It wasn't that hard. She was easily swayed. I just hope she enjoys it as much as I did.
