Yesterday I placed a Book Outlet order. YAY Been awhile, I call it my Belated Black Friday order. Seriously I missed a great black Friday sale from there. It was 30% off on site and then another 10% if you tweeted about it. I was like "UGH and I missed it?"
I just got a new kindle bought The whole Shatter Me series by Taherah Mafi. I'm currently on book two. I also got the Troop by Nick Cutter and The Martian by Andy Weir. I was peer pressured to buy Fifty Shades of Grey...We'll see where that goes.
It's such a cool upgrade Janie! I had the first kindle and I got the Kindle Fire HDX 8.9. It's pretty hot lol
That is cool Victor, I only wanted the paper white because I just wanted it to read my review books on. I have my laptop for everything else. Enjoy your tablet.
Alissa wrote: "I just bought I Am Pilgrim, Ghost Story, The Drawing of the Three, The Waste Lands, & Wizard and Glass"I really hope you enjoy I Am Pilgrim as much as I did. That is one of the best books I think I have ever read.
I got $90 in Barnes and Noble gift cards for Christmas (WOOHOO) so I'dd be loading up my Nook hahahere's what I purchased so far:
Unbroken: A World War II Story of Survival, Resilience, and Redemption
The Fault in Our Stars
Red Rising
Elizabeth Is Missing
The Golem and the Jinni
My Goodwill trip the other day turned up:The Goldfinch
, Frenchman's Creek
, Fairest
, All the Pretty Horses
, Pride and Prejudice and Zombies
, What Darkness Brings
, Fires of Eden
, The Reader
, and Wolf Tower
, plus a couple for the kiddo. Then for Christmas, I got Revival
from my grandma, which was super-exciting!
Kit I got a gift card for B&N so I may be getting Revival, we will see what sales I can find. Great Haul.
I was so excited to get it, had to resist the urge to stick my nose in the book right then and there, lol!
I was browsing B&N this holiday, finding more books to buy for their local book drives than for myself (You should've seen the look in their eyes when I dropped 5 copies of the YA edition of Unbroken: A World War II Story of Survival, Resilience, and Redemption into their drive bin. Except that wonky checker who winked at me. I'm gonna have to watch myself around him.) But this one caught my attention:
Sometimes, 14th-century Japanese literature seems more interesting than the volume of stuff currently out...
Enjoy your book Squire! SO yesterday I ended up buying Revival, Champion and Emerald Green. YAY! Their sales were not as big as I expected them to be.
That's cool Janie. I'm interested in your thoughts on the Ruby Red trilogy. In the past two months I have acquired quite a lot of books. Amazon had a 25% off any book and a 20% off any book purchase. I got:
Legend Box set
Throne of Glass
Crown of Midnight
The Assassin's Blade
Heir of Fire
The Unbecoming of Mara Dyer
The Evolution of Mara Dyer
The Retribution of Mara Dyer
Fall for Anything which I have been meaning to get for about two years
I'm still expecting
I'll Give You the Sun
Scarlet
Cress
Wow Victor that is a great amount of books! Have you read the Ruby Red trilogy? I am looking forward to it myself, so hopefully soon I will get to it. I have been wanting to also read the Mara dyer books, just have not bought them yet.
I didn't realize how many I got until I typed them in. I haven't read Ruby Red but I heard mixed things about it. Mara Dyer sounds creepy and exciting.
Michelle I keep contemplating buying that, but I never do. One of these days I will do it. I think it is because I have heard so many mixed things on it.

Carrie. Volume 1 of Cemetery Dance's "Stephen King The Doubleday Years" set.
Future volumes will be:
'Salem's Lot (sold out pre publication)
The Shining
Night Shift
The Stand
Pet Semetary

Victor I am doing a reread of 11/22/63 in March I think. Looking forward to getting into it again. I loved that book. It was interesting seeing King's twist on 11/22/63.

I really enjoyed Bag of Bones. I will be posting my Book Haul unboxing video soon for the new year.
YAY Corey! Do you want to join in on my read along for this coming in March? There are several so far that I know will be joining me. It is one of my favorites by King. Every time I read another book by him it makes me realize exactly how gifted a writer he is.
