LOL Victor now you sound like me. I am bad at collecting books and not reading them. I have all of Rowell's books on my kindle except for Landline. And I have not read any of them yet.

Heather I use to read the Goosebumps series, I loved those books, and I love Dean Koontz, I haven't read One Door Away From Heaven yet. Sounds like you got some other good books.

No problem! I love seeing the deals and books that everyone acquires. We're diverse, yet have many books in common, and I think it's wonderful that we encourage one another!

I love most of Koontz's earlier books, like The Voice of the Night and The Bad Place. Fear Nothing is another favorite of mine.

Not too worry, you have many years ahead of you, if you desire to tackle them all. And no one says you'd have to read them back-to-back.

message 2827: by Heather (new)

Hey I totally understand, I had the same problem. I didn't hate school in general, just the way it was run. But I'm glad you like your school.

Donald Scott (writeondon) | 3 comments Just bought Airport and Her Royal Spyness, as both are currently on sale on Amazon (for Kindle) for just $1.99 (have been wanting to try the Spyness series for awhile, and Hailey's always a good bet) ... and recently have also bought Horns, Painted Hands: A Novel, Dark Victory: The Life of Bette Davis, and Saint Closes the Case, The - though am also reading Zom-B Underground from the library, as well as just got word in that my copy of Mr. Mercedes is ALSO in at the library!

In other words, the TBR list just never, ever ends, does it??

Sam Arnold (samharnold) Yesterday I was lucky enough to go with my mum to a secondhand book shop. Book shopping with my mum is always something that I love as it brings back childhood memories. We always went when I was young and it was a special time for both of us. To make matters even better this time we had my niece come with us so three generations of bookworms.

Got some really lovely books from this haul and some that just looked good. Ironically only one of these was from my wish list.

All these were classic hardcovers which look lovely on my shelf
Oliver Twist
Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea
Around The World In 80 Days
The Three Musketeers
Moonfleet - remember reading this at school as a child
The Time Machine

Paperbacks
Kelly Holmes: Black, White & Gold - My Autobiography
Dust
Dear John Author is mentioned on booktube loads wanted to give him a go
The Dragon Queen - Alice Borchardt - brought cos the cover looked good
