Ew, yea $6 a piece is not a very good deal! I got most of mine for $2 or less. Some of the Goodwills would count them as hardbacks and charge $2, others would count them as kids' books and only charge 50 cents, lol.

well I ended up at the UBS instead of our local Good Will. And they had some good books on the sales rack. So I picked up:
The Notebook
Deadly Gift
Hokus Pokus
Unspeakable
Chill of Fear
The Diamond of Drury Lane
I will be having a book haul/unboxing video soon to share as well.

I love this Bookworm Chatter thread! I can live vicariously through all of you (buying all these great books)! My extreme addiction - book stores! But where do you put them all? I am running out of room!
9:14 AM. My dad is in town and wanted to go to Barnes and Noble. He bought himself a book, and bought me...The Skin Collector by Jeffery Deaver, which is Deaver's newest book. :)
Great Haul Gavin! I think I got the Scarlet Letter for my Kindle! I need to sit down and read that one. I saw the movie years ago and it was pretty good.
HAHA Martha, I do that as well. I love to see what others buy. It always gives me more ideas of what to get myself! I have a room designated as the library and now I swapped rooms and I can get more book cases in there. YAY!
Yay Kathryn nice you got The Skin Collector! Wont be long you will be ready to read that one. LOL

Lol, I always have to look in the book aisle at Wal-Mart too, it's always our last stop before checking out. I tell the kiddo 'You know Mommy has to look! It's the rules.'I dream of one day having a library room with hardwood floors and floor to ceiling shelves and one of those rolly ladders, and a fireplace and leather wing chairs and a built-in windowseat... Ooh yea. But right now all my books are stored in those big plastic tote boxes. I have 18 of them stacked up on the back wall of the garage, but I will probably have to add another one soon if I keep buying more books! xD
I always have to go through the book aisle as well. Even though it is a puny little thing. At the moment they have an over abundance of Divergent, Duck Dynasty, random romance novels and yeah...But I look because they also have little jewels hidden about the aisle. That is where I found my precious edition of The Lord of the Rings at. It was all alone, buried behind some YA books. But I rescued it and it now sits beautifully on my shelf. lol
Yea Heather same for ours! I can't help myself though, I always have to look, even if I just had a haul! LOL

"Gavin - this is a great group! Loved them all!"
So excited to read them, so little time.
Holly wrote: "Got some good ones Gavin!"
And they were all so cheap... when I asked the guy the "how much" and he said "₡11000 (around 20 dollars" I was thinking "seriously?"

Hey Janie girl, watched your utube review for that gory book. I can't remember the title cause I will not let it suck me in. I know it would and then I would have to re-shower. Hehe. Great review though, were you in the new room?

I want to say, "Uh...How about you either don't buy them or give them to those people who will actually READ them, like me?!" She is a little weird. Lol

B&N had a sale on some of their books. I am trying to buy my books on sale now. However Stephen King and Charlaine Harris are releasing books this year. Those I will pay full price.
Half-Price Books is having a 20% off sale, and I didn't find much. However, I did pick up a copy of Stinger by Robert McCammon. Mark has read this one and said it was really good. He is trying to get me to convert. Lol
