Nice haul Janie! Thanks! I can't wait to read it. Yes, I've read The Passage. It's been awhile since I did, though!
I loved The Passage. We are planning on The Twelve soon though I think, later this year. You are welcome to join us.

Victor I think that was the one that was coming in paperback this fall? I can't remember for sure though.

Lee, I hope you enjoy The Passage. It was one of my faves for the year! It was a great read.

I started the passage last night. I read the part with Amy and Jeanette and the emails between Paul and Jonas. Crazy bats! LOL
Glad you are both enjoying it. Yay Lee you will be ready for The Twelve then when we get to it in November! I have to say that The Passage made it to my top favorites for the year.
I have a special plan for that come the beginning of 2014. So keep an eye out guys and also keep a metal list of your own favorites for 2013.

I got to read a little bit on the ferry ride this morning, but can't wait to finish up with work so I can get home and read today. This book has really captured my attention more than the other 3 I have started this week.
Lee I have to agree, right from the start the book had my attention. I am so glad I decided to read it. Be sure that you both slide over to The Passage thread. All spoilers are marked.

I slid, but I am on my stupid mobile app so it removes all the spoilers anyway. may have to get out my laptop...

So I got a few more books today, what's new right? LOL Ok so I got Dracula, Caught, The Dream Hunter, Fatal Burn, The Next Accident, The Third Victim, Turning Angel, & Catching Fire. So another pretty decent hall, and again a few of them from the sales rack.

Yes Kathryn! But I never thought to look for House of Leaves. Go figure right? Oh well maybe the next time.
Rachel thanks! Yea I got them off the sales rack, and I knew I had Gardner listed on my phone so I snagged them for $1. I came home and looked it up, go figure I did not get #1 eh? Its ok I will look for that one next time.

the first one is a great book but quincy only has a small part in the story and rainie isn't even in it- not really sure why she counts it as the first book. that said it's an awesome thriller-really fast paced and intense. The Perfect Husband
Haven't been able to buy books in a long time, but tonight my wife wanted to see Maggie Stiefvater at our library. She has read all of her books except the one that came out this week, but she has always gotten them from the library. Tonight I bought the new book on hardback so my wife could get it signed. Had to support out local small book store. I bought The Dream Thieves. I'm also excited because my preorder of Doctor sleep should ship soon because it is set to arrive at my door Tuesday when it's released.
Chris I think that is great that you guys got to go to the book signing and see Maggie Stiefvater. And then an extra treat to buy a book and have it signed. Awesome!
Today I bought: Firestarter in hardcover
'Salem's Lot in hardcover
The Coffin Dancer by Jeffrey Deaver in paperback
The Real Wood Bible for my husband's birthday next week. :) I hope he likes it.
Oh nice books Kathryn! Did you ever get the Bone Collector? I thought you said you did. I hate when I can't remember. LOL
