Added another book to the list called Gray Matter, by Gary Braver. I have had this book forever and it looked at me last night and beckoned for me to take it off the shelf. Ok so it was not that dramatic, but close.
Yay! Hope you enjoy it Kathryn. I must look to see if the book store has Different seasons and Skeleton Crew, I need both of those collections.
I Have recently purchased Neil Gaiman's The Ocean at The End of The Lane, Coelho's Manuscript Found in Accra(which is by far my favorite book among his works), Sweet Tooth by Ian McEwan and I am excitedly looking forward to the biggest book fair here in the Philippines. It'll be swarmed with people and everyone'll be drowned in books. :)
Today with Janie I bought, Swan Song by Robert McCammon because I've been looking for that for over a year! I also bought the first book in the Kathryn Dance series by Jeffery Deaver, The Sleeping Doll. Janie also gave me a hardback of The Passage.
Donna, I love being drowned in books! LOL
Kathryn I am so glad you got The Sleeping Doll. I think you might just enjoy Deaver. *keeping fingers crossed*
Maybe you oughta start the Passage and join our discussion over there.
I will be back after work out to post my books here. I am excited to share with y'all!

Ok so here I am again to post the haul. thanks to my sweet hubby I got a good amount of books today. From Wal-Mart I got Ready to Die, by Lisa Jackson, and The Twelve, by Justin Cronin. From the UBS I got Faith of the Fallen, I am Legend and Other Stories, Different Seasons, Skeleton Crew, Night Shift, Slam, Born at Midnight, The Sleeping Doll, Roadside Crosses, The Enemy, The Face Of Deception, & The Devil's Teardrop.
Awesome haul Janie!!I've been wanting to read The Sleeping Doll for awhile now. We should so do a buddy read for that one! :-D

I've also been planning on reading The Sleeping Doll but won't be getting it till next month some time.
enjoy your purchases!
I recently bought Frost, Endless Night, Carolina Rain. I have read Frost and Carolina Rain. I am currently reading Apocalypse Island, then I have a freebie for review to read, then I will read Endless Night.
LOL Rachel, I did my homework this time before I bought The Face of Deception. While I was at the UBS with Kathryn I noted that they had almost the whole series.
I enjoyed Endless night Lee! it was good. It is the Laymon book right? I hope you enjoy it.
Donna you should totally join us on the Sleeping Doll read. Deaver is quickly becoming a favorite of mine. And I really enjoy the Kathryn Dance character.

Today though, I found a pretty good paperback of 1984
, though it has a lil peeled spot on the cover that was covered by a sticker, and a brand new paperback of A Game of Thrones
, figure if I don't like it I can always swap it, and a nice hardback copy of The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon
, which I've been looking for to send to my friend who I'm wanting to get to try King. Plus a stack of books for my kid and her daughter. Not a bad adventure this evening :)
Nice haul Kit! Especially on a new copy of AGOT. I had to buy my set new which I think I will sell to the UBS. IDK yet.
Like I said I would I bought Divergent and Insurgent this month. And I paid four extra dollars for Insurgent Collectors Edition so now I can read Free Four:)

Yay, I'm so happy that you picked up a copy of A Game of Thrones, Kit!!:) I hope you love it!!
Just got home from the bookstore. I bought These Things Hidden by Heather Gudenkauf for a dollar and The Bone Collector by Jeffrey Deaver for 3.98! Woohoo! I'm going to read The Bone Collector after I finish Different Seasons. :)
Awesome Kathryn, so glad you found it. Maybe I will read along. Depends on where I am at on reads. The Coffin Dancer comes 2nd. I would not mind having whole series. Maybe I will look for the next ones.
Thanks Michelle. Like 5 of mine were off the sales rack. I love when I can get them for $1. The sales rack is what I hit first every time.
Bought Avenging Fury, by John Farris, and They're Watching, by Gregg Hurwitz. Picked them up at Dollar general for real cheap.
Got a bunch of new books today - all brand new for $2 each! The Many Deaths of the Firefly Brothers, Mrs. Robinson's Disgrace: The Private Diary of a Victorian Lady, Lessons for a Werewolf Warrior, Everyman's Rules for Scientific Living, Care of Wooden Floors, Battle Hymn of the Tiger Mother, sic and Voice of America.
I get like that too Michelle. Love bringing home my books and just looking at them all, then I go arrange them all on my book shelves. LOL
Hehe, the best part of getting books. LOL Something else I do is when we leave the UBS I have to keep the books up front with me in the car so I can look at them all until our next destination. LOL The once I have looked at all of them Hub can put them in trunk.
Found a brand new hardback copy of
for .99 cents at the local thrift store. And believe it or not I found a new soft copy of
with the movie cover for free :x Good Karma
I just got The Twelve by Justin Cronin, The Strange Case of Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde and Other Stories by Robert Louis Stevenson, Robert Frost: Selected Poems, and Writing the Fiction Series: The Complete Guide For Novels and Novellas by Karen S. Wiesner.
