There have been some great books bought recently. It has been awhile since I have been able to post on this tread. Amazon's Kindle books under 3.99 is great this month. I bought The Vanished Man, and Funland. Vanished man is one of my favorites and I am trying to re-buy Jeffery Deaver's books so I can read them anywhere, and protect my autographed hardbacks.
The daily deal on Amazon was pretty good too. Had to spoil my wife a little and I bought her Unearthly. I missed buying books, even if they are ebooks it was still satisfying.
WOOT! Glad you got to buy books Chris! There is nothing as satisfying as that when you need a fix for it! hehe
I know, the library is great for getting books I want to read but sometimes I just have to buy new ones. Got my eye on a few more sale Kindle items but I'll have to wait and see.
Chris I love hitting Amazon up. I have found so many good free books.
Holly do you have the kindle app for computer? Sometime when I can't buy books for awhile I will look for free books for the kindle app. LOL You can find a lot of good freebies on Amazon. And the kindle app is also free.
I actually got to get books for my birthday and I am thinking this week I will start on getting the Preston & Childs books and also Ellen Hopkins. I also need to get Turning Angel by Iles. I love the Penn Cage character he is awesome!

The best thing about it is that it is free. Here is a link for you Holly, if you decide you wanna get it.

I really have to read a lisa Jackson book one of these days- looking forward to hearing your comments.

Well her New Orleans series is good, it starts out with Hot Blooded, then cold blooded, then #3 is Shiver and I stopped at #4 Abosolute Fear, but now I have to reread them to continue with it. They are stand alones though so you can actually read them in whatever order you want. The Savannah Series is also pretty decent. I actually wanna read them all over again, it has been quite a few years since I have read any of them. I am looking forward to You Don't Want to Know.

Yea I love her work, she has a great talent I think. And well I love suspense thriller so she works for me. LOL

I'm just excited that we already own a copy! Hopefully you can find one soon, Janie.:)
Janie wrote: "You mean Almost dead right? I have that book, just have not read it yet."Oh, yes, I'm sorry about that, Janie. I should have been more clear.
ok SO in celebration of Kay's last day of school I got 5 new books. Ok so it is not in celebration it is because I am addicted to books. So anyway I got the Ted Dekker Paradise Series, Petals on the Wind, and Joyland!! I am a happy camper!
I really want to get Joyland but it will have to wait. I really am itching to read the new Deaver book The Kill Room. My copy arrived on my door step the day it released and I have not had a chance to pick it up. I am going crazy in anticipation. Sounds like you got quite the haul Janie. I look forward to your review on Joyland.
Thanks Chris, I will be reading Joyland prolly along with our Hannibal read. Hope you are able to get to get it soon. Enjoy your new Deaver book.
Janie-looking forward to your comments on joyland- I have a new appreciation for Stephen king since I read 11/22/63.
Rachel I always love to hear appreciation for Stephen King and his works. He truly is a very phenomenal writer. I really enjoy just about all his stuff that I have read (I have read just about all of it) except for From a Buick 8, that one was really a let down for me.
