No, but I'm very interested in KIN, and pretty much everything he's written. How about yourself?
I'm sure you will like it Dustin. It is a very gripping tale imo. I enjoyed it a lot. I look forward to more of his stuff.
This is what I just got:Washington: A Life-Ron Chernow
Lincoln-David Herbert Donald
Benjamin Franklin: An American Life-Walter Isaacson
Dark Places-Gillian Flynn
Sharp Objects-Gillian Flynn
Bossypants-Tina Fey
War and Peace-Leo Tolstoy
I really liked Sharp Objects, it was really messed up at times but so very interesting. Dark Places wasn't Flynn's best in my opinion so I might suggest reading that before Sharp Objects. I kept comparing it to her others and I think that hindered my enjoyment of Dark Places. I wish it would have been the first one I read.
No problem, like I said I know I kept comparing Dark places to Sharp Objects and Gone Girl the whole time I was reading it. Sadly it fell short of expectations for me. So hopefully if you read Dark Places you will be able to enjoy it more because you don't have that comparison.
Picked up a copy of The Illustrated Man at the dollar store the other day, was pretty darn excited about it.

Kit it has a great rating and great reviews as well! How awesome you found it at the Dollar store! Hope you enjoy it!
Ok so I got a few books. I got 3 more of laymons books that I did not have. I think I have read almost every one of his books lol. So tonight I got Dark Mountain, Among the Missing, and Beware!. I also got This Present Darkness, by Frank Peretti. And then I got 2 more of the Maximum Ride series Angel & Fang. So I got a pretty good haul. I am happy!
14, Weaveworld, and a nice paperback of Firestarter from my favourite UBS. My mom also gave me a brand new copy of The Night Circus the other day. I'm not sure what possessed her to buy it, as it's not her type of book at all, and she hasn't read it or even opened it.
Courtney awesome that you got Firestarter. I still need to buy that one. I did not care for The Night Circus at all. Have you read that one?
Yea I just felt somewhat misled by the description of the book and was expecting farm more than I got. It really was disappointing to me.
I've just bought
and
. They're the first physical books I've purchased in a while since I read most books on my Nook.
Well I checked my email late, but I just bought More Twisted: Collected Stories Vol. II for my Kindle. It is an amazon daily deal so jump on it while you can if you might be interested. I own it in Hardback and it is signed by the author, but to be able to have it anywhere I am and for only 2$, I jumped on it. Very happy I found this.
I didn't buy it but for my birthday the hubby purchased me Clockwork Angel. Book 1 of the Infernal Devices series. I love it!
Jessie wrote: "I didn't buy it but for my birthday the hubby purchased me Clockwork Angel. Book 1 of the Infernal Devices series. I love it!"I have read some of the Mortal Instrument series, but not these, I'm glad you are liking it so far. I want to get back into those series but have so much on my to-read plate already.
Holly wrote: "I just bought Before I Go to Sleep by S.J. Watson."I hear good things. My wife read it and really liked it. It is on my to-read list but not sure when I will get to it.
Ok so today I got a book fix lol! I got the start to a new series, the Wicked: Witch & Curse and Resurrection, by Nancy Holder & Debbie Viguie. Can ya guess it is about witches. I also got Sail, Closer Than Blood, and Prey. So looking foward to these new books. Still no Sweetheart, by Chelsea Cain though. May have to order it.
Holly wrote: "I just bought Before I Go to Sleep by S.J. Watson."that's a great book - hope you enjoy
i've heard it's going to be made into a movie starring nicole kidman
Yay got some new books! I got Sweetheart, Darke, book 6 to the Septimus Heap series, Thirst No. 5: The Sacred Veil, Green: The Beginning and the End, Matched, and Crossed. Still need reached for that series but want it in paperback. So I had a great haul today! Excited!

I want to start it straight away Janie, but I ordered it from Book Depository so it will probably take at least two weeks to arrive. I thought about getting the ebook but it costs more than the paperback!
Michelle 2 weeks would be fine with me. I am about to start a buddy read with Lee I think on Incarceron. And then I wanna follow through with the 2nd one Sapphique. So just let me know when you are ready to go on that, I will be waiting with bells on! ;)

I agree, it is all relative. In my eyes, being the recipient of the Bram Stoker award is successful, and very impressive."
