i got given them as a present and didn't pick them up for a long time but when i did i couldnt stop there are ten in the series and i wish there was more john marsden is a fantastic writer! i always wish i could read them again for the first time just to rediscover how good it was.

Talk to my daughter, Ngaire Smith, about them. She's a real fan.

Don't even consider not reading them all.
Although, I'm only talking about the proper series (i.e 1-7) not the 'Ellie Chronicles' as they are complete and utter rubbish.

YES!!!! Definitely read them all!!! I read them as a teenager and loved them, and now as an adult who has a literature degree (and has therefore read a lot of other books by now, most of which are regarded as far more high quality literature than the Tomorrow books) they are still some of my favourite ever books and as a whole are one of my all-time favourite stories! The whole journey of them is.... just wow hahaha absolutely read all seven novels, you won't regret it. Number 3, The third day the frost, and Number 6, The Night is for Hunting, are my personal favourites :-) I also went on to read the Ellie Chronicles... I kinda agree yes they are pretty crappy, especially when read in comparison to the Tomorrow novels, but they are good for satisfying your curiosity regarding some of the more personal aspects of the Tomorrow novels that are left unanswered at the end of book 7.

I saw the movie first and that got me to read the books. They are a must read. I must say that my favourite book in the series would have to be the Third one. If you really liked the First book then defenitely read the rest of the series.

It is. The Tomorrow Series is amazing. After you finish those seven, I would also suggest the Ellie Chronicles. Which are also just as good.

Hmm. I liked this series. A lot. I read 3 of then in a week. It was so sad to end them, but yeah, I recommend reading em.

this series is amazing and so are the ellie chronicles. i had to read the first book when i was at school and got so hooked that i read all of them. one of the best book series out there!

I read them and and enjoyed each one. But I do not recommend the next series.

I've only read the first book and I hated it. If you only need information from the first book for your essay then you don't necessarily have to read the rest of the series, but if you want to read the rest of the series then you can do just that.
