sometimes a non-committal casual relationship isn't a bad situation. The well, not really sexual tension, but tension pulling you two together, can be frustrating yet strengthening aspect. The casual nature can allow a relationship to grow out of friendship, which is a good foundation, as long as neither party focuses or obsesses over the fact that you're together in all but name. And if a committal relationship is necessary to keep it monogamous, then maybe some devotion or feelings is missing. One can decide to be faithful and monogamous without the shackles of a structured relationship.

we are both different, we just got out of a bad relationship. his ex-gf didn't wanna be with him as much as he wanted to be with her. and for me the 1st guy Michael liked me but he had a gf. but that didn't stop us from seeing each other. but he wanted sex and i didn't give to him so he left me. and on the following day joey (the 2nd guy) came to me.

i know he's different from all other guys, he respects his GFs. but they don't show him the same affection towards him. and its hard to convince him that i am different. he doesn't wanna get hurt again and i've told him that i will never hurt him cuz i show the same affection to my BFs that he shows his GFs.

that no need to rush into a bf/gf relationship when close friends work. And a guy who dumps you because you won't have sex, while he has a gf of his own, isn't a good bf material, he would have left you for other reasons.

and um i was with joey yesterday at my cuzins house. there were 5 of us. so nothing happened while we were in her room. but we did lean agaisnt each other and held hands. i won't ever kiss in front of family.

If you haven't heard of "a break" from Friends trivia, then yeah you can't expect a relationship to start from a breakup. It's like the cold, there's a chance of recurrence, that people make up, or just don't want to give up, and get back together after a short break, maybe have some hookups during this period.

Even if he had broken up and dated you, and not went back to the previous, it'd have counted as "rebound" relationship which isn't as strong either.

If he's the type the likes you seriously, but can't stay single long enough to start a relationship with you (a mourning period so to speak before starting with you), then I would question his devotion/commitment.

I knew one girl who was incapable of being without a relationship. She would pursue and hookup with the next victim before dumping the previous. She was smart though, she alternated between boys and girls, when she was with a girl, she'd pursue a boy and vice versa, keeping the current without knowing till they get dumped. It's a sign of insecurity in relationships to behave in this manner, and if the behavior doesn't change, will grow up alone. A good indicator was when she was actually dumped herself, she was devastated, didn't know what to do with herself because she had not had enough time to setup the next victim.

i'm trying to forget him but i can't seem to do that. i wake up thinking of him and i go to sleep hating him. its just hard.

joey won't make eye contact with my brother and my brother wants my permission to kick his ass. i want to say yes since my brother has been in fights before and joey hasn't, but i worry for brian(my brother) cuz he's gotten in TOO many fights already, and i also worry for joey. i don't want him hurt either. cuz fighting won't prove anything it'll just make things worse for me and brian.
