I have been looking for this book for years. I read it in the early 90s but it may be older. It was a book of short stories. I remember one story about a pretty but disheveled witch hiding out in a boys backyard. She said a mob was after her and witches could not use magic when they are scared. The boy helps her. In another story a boy is using magic to finish a punishment of lines set on him. A teacher catches him but is also a witch so he scolds him but does not turn him in. I have a feeling the book was set in Britain and witches were known and hunted in the book. Thanks guys
