Is It Love? the First 12 Months of Dating!
This version below is the latest. Could you please update with the new cover?
Is It Love? the First 12 Months of Dating!
This is the new cover:

Thank you!

What we do instead is create an alternative cover edition and then the author can decide which cover becomes the main one.
We also cannot use any information or covers from Amazon, for legal reasons.

Once again, thanks so much!

Were new bookcovers added or did someone try to change older published bookcovers? If older editions were missing bookcovers, the updated covers can be added to the old editions.
If instead of missing their bookcovers, the books had an older, outdated cover — those cannot be overwritten or removed from member bookshelves and the goodreads database. Instead, new alternate cover editions with the new bookcovers get made and authors can choose which edition becomes the primary/default (which cover shows on title search, author profile page, etc.).
At this point, if I'm reading the change log correctly, I don't think the alternate cover editions were ever made (if you saw new bookcovers then someone overwrote a published cover against goodreads policy so it reverted back to original published cover).
In case more than one person is editing at a time, I'm not also going to jump in right now. I'll check back in about 15 minutes and if I don't see your new bookcover editions being made, I'll create the alternate cover editions with the new bookcovers requested in message #60. Possibly someone is creating and just hasn't had a chance to post here or is just not posting even though editing your covers.
Once the new cover editions are created, you can set whatever bookcover/edition you want to be primary/default. ( If you don't set, goodreads just uses the most popular edition.) For directions, see Author FAQ #4 this group at http://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/1... or help screens at http://www.goodreads.com/help/show/31... .

Cross-posting to http://www.goodreads.com/topic/show/6... because looks like issue is on more than one thread.
The isbn and asin info is helpful for the alternate cover edition notes if anyone has...

Any idea when it is to be released? Any other data available yet, like a blurb, publisher?

ISBN: 9781476383446
The cover image is in my photos. Also if my status on that particular edition can be changed as well, please.
Thanks.

The reason you can't change the covers because that is against GR policy, even though it is a minor change to the artwork.
We can create an alternative cover edition(s) for you instead. Which editions have been released with the new covers and what is the date of release?

The updated revised version will be available tomorrow. The covers will be changed for paperback and ebooks and the ISBN and ASIN will remain the same.
I'm not sure why there needs to be a entirely new version just for updated artwork when the updated artwork on all venues will be the same. I already have 3 editions, I really don't want anymore.
As a matter of fact, I contemplated creating an entirely new book because the changes are so major, but I was told by GR librarians that NO, I could not do that unless the title was changed. Of course, I will not change the title because the content is too similar and it's part of a series, so you see my dilemma.

Author Tips at the top of this page:
Rivka says:
Q: My book has a new cover, but the ISBN/ASIN has not changed. How do I change the cover on Goodreads?
A: Goodreads policy is not to change covers on books that have already been published. Instead, an alternate-cover edition may be added. Start a new thread in this folder if you need help.
Please note: Authors who also have librarian status who delete old covers or otherwise vandalize older editions of books may have their librarian privileges revoked.
Q: My book has a new edition, but the old one is showing up on my author page. How can I change that?
A: The default edition of a book -- the one which shows up on your author page, in non-ISBN-specific searches, and several other places -- is determined by the number of Goodreads users who have shelved each edition.
As more users shelve the new edition, it will become the default instead.
Alternatively, Goodreads recently added a new feature for authors: Goodreads Authors can now choose which edition they want to be the default edition for their books. Goodreads Authors (and Goodreads Employees) are the only people who can use this feature, and they can only do so for books on which they are the primary author.
To use this feature, go to the edition you wish to set as the default, and click the "edit" link. On the edition's edit page there will be a link on the right side, about mid-way down the page and just before the link to refresh stats, to "Set this book as the primary edition for this work".

Okay I found the instructions on how to set as the primary edition. I haven't published my last cover yet, is there a way to add an alternate cover?

Because goodreads is not a venue (or bookseller or any form of retailer) and has no product pages.
Goodreads is just a database showing as many published works as librarians, members, authors and data feeds can add. Really no idea how or if members shelve/catalog specific editions; we let members organize their reads however they want and protect the book published data (including bookdovers) on their shelves from being changed. If was ever published, it gets to be here.
Seems to be a growing issue with the growing number of ebooks. With hardcovers and softcovers from traditional publishers, when there was a reprint or revised cover print run—no one suggested going around to libraries and into private homes to yank back the older editions off the bookshelves and destroy them as if never existed. But on a library/catalog site like goodreads, lots of authors seem to feel okay to yank digital editions off the virtual bookshelves of our members.

They do need some more information though, date published & publisher.
Only Authors can decide which edition is the default, instructions as follows:
Q: My book has a new edition, but the old one is showing up on my author page. How can I change that?
