I am several Pendergast novels behind myself. I tend to wait a few years until I have four or five unread, then binge them like I'm a college student with a bottle of cheap Canadian whiskey.

Clint, solid/concise review. So it was published in 2019, and has a CD for audio? No table of contents? Weird

Better late than never, starting The Knight of the Swords by Michael Moorcock.

Highly recommended -- I think I actually like Corum better than Elric.

I enjoyed the Count Brass series some years ago so I expect that the Corum books would be good too. I only ever read the first Elric book and that was probably two decades ago!

And I finished The Knight of the Swords and so, naturally, am starting The Queen of the Swords.

Got a bunch of "Ace Doubles" both stuff I have read like Antropol/The Time Mercenaries and lots I'd never seen till I studied covers on Pixiv for art practice.

And The King of the Swords, the last of Moorcock's first Corum trilogy, has been started. I love these books!

Decided it was finally time to read John M. Ford's The Scholars of Night, which has been sitting on my shelf for an embarrassingly long time.

Clint | 341 comments Work travel coupled with a nasty head cold slowed my reading. I’m still enjoying Moorcock’s The Queen of Swords and pecking at Weird Talers by Booby Derie a bit

Finished The Scholars of Night (which was great, and it's a darned shame that John M. Ford's books will likely never be reprinted) and started The Devil in a Forest by Gene Wolfe, which is at least sword & sorcery-adjacent, as I recall.
