I heard on the radio that he was in Kokomo and the first thing I thought was "Oh! That's where Kevin lives!"
right now I am on the laptop keeping my brother in law company while he watches Dr.Phil and the show is about bullies and violent children. that is depressing. Violence seems to be an epidemic in the US. I don't remember this kind of thing growing up although I do remember Danny H. pushing me into a snow pile when I was 10. And Billy H. stealing my favorite hat (my dad's sailor hat from wwII) from my head when I was 5 and throwing into a storm drain. Nothing compared to today. I wonder why?
Right now I'm just waiting for today to end. It has been going on forever. It is my last day of student teaching and I have nothing left to do here, and honestly I'm just waiting for the bell to ring so I can get out of here finally. We have seventh hour plan period, which has been great all semester, but today is sheer torture.
End, day, end!
End, day, end!
Psst...isn't all teaching student teaching? I mean, except when you're teacher-teaching, but that's usually called an in-service.
I had a handwarming muff when I was little. It was white fur. It had a matching "scarf" which was a furry white tube with a mink's head on the end. The mink's mouth would grab the other end of the tube, thus keeping it around one's neck. It was so cute!
Then at a job once I was telling this guy about the muff I'd had and he freaked out.

All her bridesmaids wore red velvet empire waist dresses with white fur collars and a satin ribbon and the high waist. And all the girls in the wedding party had white fur muffs, to boot.

Not waiting anymore, Phil put it out of its misery.
Nothing much, reading Atul Gawande's book; Better. A surgeon notes on performance while listening to orchestral music. classy!
right now i am finally resting in my chair. it is 3:32pm and i just got home a bit ago. got up and left at 7 to go pheasant hunting with some friends. nothing like a day outside in 17 degree sunny weather hiking around the countryside to work off the thanksgiving feed. got home, cleaned two birds for later cooking, put everything away, warm bath, some berry-lemonaid and now in chair...
Right now I'm battling a migrain and trying to catch up on all the stuff I missed on TC while I was busy the last week or so.
right now i'm making hutspot. i got a little carried away with the peeling and chopping and ended up with way too much stuff to fit in one pan so i had to divide it over two.
The plane to Schiphol is no problem, but the train ride to Groningen takes forever. I may be a bit late arriving.
Groningen has its own horse breed. They almost died out, but they've been bred back into existence. So I can meet you at the station with a nice carriage instead of a car.
I've never eaten apple pie with cheese despite growing up listening to "Apple pie without the cheese is like a kiss without the squeeze" on the radio every day.
janine wrote: "it's a very special breed."Most horses start farting when you get near that end in any case. I consider it to be social commentary.
Sally wrote: "Now I'm eating hot fresh apple pie with cheddar cheese."
That seems like a mistake to me. I would replace the cheese with vanilla ice cream.

So that's the station at which our train will arrive. Can't wait!
Imagistic could work in certain limited contexts, discussing early 20th-century verse. But probably a word like evocative would be less awkward and more like what you're looking for.
Right now I'm relaxing after serving dinner to the in-laws, and I'm wondering if I should get some exercise on the bike trainer.
Jackie you had me salivating until I read you had drizzled the maple syrup over it.
