Thanks, Jackie. Boy were there ever. Cupcake shops are a big thing in DC. Maybe they are everywhere. I don't know.

It's in the 50s and beautiful outside. It was supposed to rain today. Hurray for inaccurate weather forecasts!
I wouldn't have minded the 50ish degree weather this morning if I had expected it, but it sort of snuck up on me (esp. since I don't watch the news). Plus, I'm wearing my gladiator sandals to work today. My toes have been a bit chilly all day.

So, the sun it out today, for a change, and the wind is high, as is usual in this part of the Bluegrass region. I'm enjoying the morning.

I'm about to put the kettle on and make some tea. I couldn't sleep in for some reason this morning, so I might as well have some tea and catch up on those newspapers sitting on the table.
Be grateful for newspapers. I'm scanning mine, too.
