I could have guessed that with you two today.

What's really amazing is that I was driving, too.Which exit do we take for Jackie? I've never been to Olympia.
Tell her congratulations Heidi.
We may have to use someone's pants as a parachute to stop the car, Jackie.Hi, Leslie.
Congratulations, Heidi's sister!
Jackie, they're telling my nephew the news tonight. I'm pretty sure he'll be thrilled. He adores my sister's
:) I'm already bugging her for dates. I'm sure they'll do something small and informal, with just family, since this is her second-go-round at the altar.
Informal is more fun anyways. Then you can spend the money on good stuff, like food, instead of tuxedos.
Right now, I'm brooding over how much I wanted to do this summer and how little I've done. 2.5 weeks left.
Better get on it!
Right now I'm waiting to hear if we are moving to Puerto Rico. Really excited, but really freaking out too. Oh, this universe throws some curve-balls sometimes. I don't know whether to duck or hit a home run. :)
Yea, that's what I said. But, apparently that is where the job is. 2-3 year contract + expenses. I don't think we could say no to this one. Practicing my Spanish - um, si?
Edit: Picturing hot cabana boys in my head.
It can be an interesting experiance. Getting to know another country and culture is always interesting, and one can't do it during short trips.

Right now I'm on another round of unpacking. Yep, I made it to NYC! (The moving kept me away for a while.)
Congrats Mindy! The worst part should be over & now you can settle & nest. :)RA, Jared is up for a 2-3 year contract job in Puerto Rico (San Juan), and we're currently waiting to hear if he made it. I don't know about the cabana boys, but I definitely will need to learn Spanish.
It might just be our next adventure and I'm really excited about it and scared to death at the same time. While there, I plan on taking part in all the cool historical culture of African, Spanish & old world European, writing & exploring the arts, and Jared is going to get his scuba diving instructors cert. Our hope is that after the 2-3 years we can save for a boat and begin a small biz taking people out for scuba weekends & gourmet food (another hobby of mine). It's pretty much something we've been dreaming about for a long time.
So.... cross your fingers for us everyone! :D
Ooh, Mindy, tell us about your apartment...is it small, scary, and expensive? I assume all NY apartments are unless you're on Gossip Girls.
Glad you made it Mindy - and before Heidi says it - PICTURES.
