right now.... i am shutting things down at my office and preparing to fire up my extremely loud motorcycle and rumble away
I just finished cleaning up after spending the morning gardening and planting all my new purchases from yesterday. I went to the nursery at 7:45 not realizing how late it was because of how light it was outside. Absolutely gorgeous sunset about an hour later, and then a deeply glowing red thunderhead settled onto the horizon at dusk.
It was like living in a terrarium. Which I guess we do, fellow sea monkeys.

Just finished Orpheus Descending while clothes finished drying. It was very upsetting. I also thought a little overwrought, but I don't know much about plays... maybe it works well on stage. Williams is really depressing. Cleaning is not so bad with good music on loud. I am just lazy, mostly. There's the bathroom and bedroom left....
Also: Kevin rides a motorcycle?! Cool?! I've wanted a motorcycle for ages. Or a Vespa.
Last thing: Sounds lovely, Sally. Wish I could've seen it.
i feel the same way Jackie - i turn up the music and clean away! when othere are there the TV seems to be always on!
I'm feeling super accomplished! The living room and kitchen are (relatively) sparkling! Wish I had before and after pictures. It was nasty and claustrophobically cluttered when I got here, and I'm no neat freak so my standards are kind of low to begin with.... But now! Wide open living-room! Hair-free bedroom! Still need to change the sheets and wipe down the bathroom one more time, but I can roll around the carpet without risking my life for the first time in months! :D
I feel so domestic. :x!
I have a dog, puppy he is a big puppy hence dog puppy, he is shedding somthing fearce, I brush him, I pull big tuffs of hair out and vaccum at least twice a day and the stepsons baby still got a hair in his eye. I love my dog, puppy, but he is a big hairy baby pooch.yea Nools, I love the feeling of clearing clutter, it's like you can breath again...ah right now I am watching the grand baby sleep amd my toddler is crashed too.Another, ahh
Morning. I'm just up and it's nearly 10. Weird!
Well, I was up at 5 per usual, but I didn't last.

i just wanna take a nap but the house is too noisey right now - the dogs are in trouble and crated - I need to get in trouble i guess! LOL
Meant to go on a walk, but dozed off during the last hours of sunlight. Sky is an amazing rosy orange along the horizon, but it's now dark. Someone please take me for a walk!!
Thoughts............Vacuuming - get tile floors and give the vacuum a rest! little ones can push a dust mop!
dishes - eat out
laundry - ahhhhhhh ummmmmmmm ..... (here there is a laundry that does the wash and fold service - never used it but sounds good)
Doesn't it though? My daughter gets back from Alaska today--YEA!!-- and we are having a birthday/father's day party this afternoon :)
Fun day ahead!
Sounds like fun, Leslie. It is hot here today so I am going to hope the gang wants to go to Oceans of Fun, we could actually do both, Worlds and Oceans of fun..hmmm
no, it's a water park that is hooked to an amuesment park so dad and the kiddies can go sweat there butts off and I can lounge in cold water
Just had a lovely afternoon with tadpole and his wife. Two very nice people to be around, as I fully expected. Went to lunch at Old Chicago and wandered around the Old Market, scoping out a used book store, too. It was hot out there -- but lots of fun. Just realized, though, that we didn't take any pictures. :(
leslie - i had a great fathers day with my kids and my dad. my FIL is doing a bit better. at least he is stable with vitals looking good. lots of additional stress with the wedding coming up this weekend but we are just looking at it as two separate deals. getting him better and getting my daughter married and trying not to overlap the two (way easier said than done but i think you have to compartmentalize) thanks for asking

Ooh, very slick and shiny, Kevin!! The more we learn about you, the more I'm tempted to randomly pop up on your porch. And borrow one of those for a joyride. :D I imagine your house is always warm and well-lit and full of good things like family and ice cream. re: photo no. 1
NICE SHIRT. : )
that line is ALWAYS funny to me. stillNools - keys are in everything i own so help yourself. yup, we are usually making fudge, playing cards or sitting on the porch singing O Brother Where Art Thou songs while my son plays guitar. c'mon over
Sorry about the pictures, RA. I'm sure what the hell I was thinking. We have to capture these precious moments, don't we?

My nephews just introduced me to that phrase on your shirt, it works for everything,kinda.. too funny. Kinda like finishing a fortune cookie by saying inbed, anyone ever tried that,bahah....I need less coffee
Hitchhiking to Indiana. Only 1929 miles away. I'm clean, I'll pay for half the gas, and I'll bring the snacks. Any takers??
What's in the fridge, Kevin? Do you have cable?Right now I'm disappointed because all the humidity in my new basement office at work pulled some of the 3M adhesive hooks that held my pictures on the wall fell. No big deal, I guess. I snagged some lighter frames. Take 2.
I'm hitting coffee with a friend today, too, after I take him for some blood work.
Laughing to myself about yesterday when we had lunch at Old Chicago with tadpole and his wife. When I introduced them to our favorite server, Sebastion, he asked how we met. When I said "online," he said, "What, on eHarmony.com?"It was funny. Guess you had to have been there ....
Struggling to recover from the most humbling first day of class ever. Stupid, stupid mistakes! Reading Latin aloud. Forgot what "hiemen" meant. AAAAAAAH. There is a lot of work to do. T_T;
Thank you, thank you, Michelle and Bunwat. My ego took a hit is all. It was getting a little out of line, maybe. I'll just work extra hard to make up for it....
I am introducing finger painting to a toddler, I am so glad I decided to have another little one, fun, fun, fun
I'm finishing stuff up in the office this morning, so I can go help out at Olympia Library in the afternoon. They have a shelving crisis!
