OH MY GOODNESS, having just returned to my Berkeley apartment a day or so ago... I am STILL working on the dishes. So. Many. Freaking. Dishes. Pots. Baking Pans. Measuring cups. Forks. Knives. Sieves and cutting boards. All plural!!!

Don't you hate dirty dishes?? And it gets bad, then it gets worse, then the worst and then I can't stand to touch them, but what choice do I have?
Do you have a dishwasher? I do, thank goodness, but when they sit in the sink for a few days, it's still yucky!

I'm so fed up with the cool, dark refrigerator garden I have in the back yard. nothing grows in that thing. it's like the place plants go to slowly fade away into rot.

I'm slowly moving everything to the front. It's an arduous task. Everything needs to be in ICU for a week after getting pulled out of there.

Lunch was very good, though not quite as good as usual. We had a choice between the place with authentic (super spicy) food and the place with more choices, and picked the one with more choices.

I was good and did not stuff myself to the gills, but something that I ate must be a soporific or else I ate more than I thought I did, because now I can barely keep my eyes open.

I find it much easier to clean when the house is empty. Vacuuming around people makes me surly.
