right now i am still sulking over losing a softball game. we should have went undefeated with this team and we lost. i hit like a wuss
Speak for yourself. I've never said it like that (unless I'm making fun of my cousins or King of the Hill). :)
ok TC'ers. i am out for the weekend. i am the director of a youth camp and i have about 150 high schoolers showing up tonight and tomorrow morning for a long weekend. hoping for no more rain or it will turn into Mudfest 2009. we have great music, great speakers, LOTS of food and much jocularity. off to motivate the next generation. i'm off to Sangralea Valley to get the party started
Have fun, and will do another no rain dance if I think my fellow workers won't die from laughter from watching.

Umm, peeps. Don't be too sad. I'm leaving for vacation tomorrow... heading out on the road and returning sometime around the end of the month(ish). Maybe. If I feel like it. :)
Lots of love and every good wish to you all while I'm gone! Be kind. xo♥, h
Have a great time Heidi - you will be missed and welcome back upon your return!Post Pictures! :)
BE SAFE!
I don't know if i believe Heidi. She said yesterday that she didn't feel missed enough. I bet she's going to sit at her computer and say "those TC people BETTER be missing me!":)
By the way, right now I just want to sit in a dark, quiet room for about twelve hours. Today I attended BOTH a kindergarten graduation and a fourth grade promotion (our middle school starts at 5th) ceremony. Then I took my oldest to Best Buy for a new video game. Then I took him to his baseball game. Too...much...stimuli.I hope all you people had good days.
I am...Home again. : )
Tired out of my mind.
Grateful for the kindness of strangers.
What game, RA? (At Best Buy, I mean.)
Glad you're home, Nools! I have benefited from the kindness of strangers many times:) Those episodes have remind me that humanity can be pretty cool sometimes.Oh, some Paintball game for Wii...
Odd. I've never found baseball games all that stimulating...Congratulations on your sons' graduations, RA!
Nools, I'm glad to hear the strangers were kind to you.
I'm also glad to be home. The coworker whose office is next to mine, and whose husband also works in the same building, was arguing with him very loudly today, more than once. The unhappiness permeated the walls, and I was really glad to get out of there. :(
Yes, I know. I've experienced that myself once, out in Portland. The couple were both quite obese, so when they'd stomp around above me it was particularly disturbing.
But the woman did make some amazing smelling fried chicken.

Both of my parents and their respective spouses are coming in for my sister's 30th birthday, at her request. We have been frantically cleaning the house, trying to finish our backyard excavations/landscaping, etc..., and I'm taking a half day today to get my dad and his wife at the airport and then buy my sister her very first iPod. I think it will be the Touch, since I covet it myself.
A nano is the other option, but I think she could use some of the apps. I have the 1st generation iPod video, which is perfect for my needs, except that it's a little clunky for the gym.
Have a good weekend if I don't make it on here again til Monday. I'm off to do more frantic cleaning, make airport runs, referee between relatives, play a show, celebrate my sister's birthday, and otherwise run myself ragged.
