What sort of plant do you work in? Ficus, perchance?

I'm usually behind the ficus hiding from Sally.
I work for a glass/metal shop.

You're correct Sally, I don't know what I was thinking. I actually sit behind the ficus because I like the shade under it.

the plant in my office is IVY and an Orchid - blooming again! I have coffee alone as I work alone most of the day!
I want a job with people of all walks of life! I actually applied with the library here as shelfing assistant - no response from them! BUMMER
I need a change!
:::Who's Jimmy Buffet?:::OOOOOOOOOOOO NO!!!!! I guess everyone cannot know everyone! LOL
ok getting back to work now!
Possibly like JB.Speaking of him, been catching up on my TV series and I think it was CBS that had PLENTY of the CiP commercials.
Check it out: http://cheeseburgerinparadise.com/
I know who Jimmy Buffet is. I was joking. I'm no parrothead (not that there's anything wrong with parrotheads), though.
wow I wasn't sure if Bob Hope and Jimi Hendrix had ever been in the same sentence before!

OMG Jackie, you've scored double brownie points for Shrinky-Dinks!!! Not sure what the excitement was peeking into oven to see them shrink but...IT WAS EXCITING! Uuh..EZ Bake Oven. Cousins had one. Think we broke it trying to make an ultimate cake. Eventually we used the real oven and covered the kitchen in flour >.>Atm, listening to a meeting that deals with math.
Tanja, you need an avatar.
I can't abide little brown silhouettes making comments I enjoy.
Here's one I suggest:

Just don't tell that friendly lady named Sally!
Okay, Sally I'm sure you've got some happy pictures somewhere in your reserves, but until you pull out all stops, here's a few for Tanja (if she wants 'em):
(smiley face throw pillow)
OR
(happy rainboots)
OR
(bee cake)
thanks Larry and Heidi I love that yellow and red happy face. If I didn't like my pic so much I would consider a change!

Your picture is great, TLF. Tanya's the one with the blank av (see message 2270). :)
I met a friend for lunch today for some super duper barbeque. Friend (reluctantly) shared THE best George Clooney anecdote ever... and it made my day.
Jackie "the Librarian" wrote: ":::stares at Heidi's post, waiting for the George Clooney anecdote to materialize..."She had kind things to say about him - she worked as crew on one of his movies. And of course, being true to her character, she was too busy working to really notice he was the guy who held the door open for her when she was carrying in a heavy armload of stuff (if it had been anyone else, I'd have called BS on that, but it seems like something she'd really do).
I pried for more info (as any good friend should) and found out that he shared with most of the crew that he seemed to have a crush on her and was always asking about her. And her response was "He's nice and all, but he's kind of old." She was 20 at the time. She did a V8 headslap after she shared the story with me... and was genuinely embarrassed.
I pointed out to her, "You know, it's probably not polite for me to mention this, but you look alot like his most recent ex-fiancee. I doubt that's a coincidence." She grimaced, and said she noticed, too. She wasn't going to say it, though. I think my friend's MUCH prettier. I may be biased, though.
Let me just say that I've not read anything that preceeds this post.
First:
:::stares at Heidi's post, waiting for the George Clooney anecdote to materialize... is a pretty hilarious thing to come upon when you're gone for ONE HOUR and come back to 27 new messages in the Right Now I'm thread.
Second:
It is eerie and bizarre to spend the day inside while outside it is either your house is being painted or it's hailing giant piles of ice. You don't know which, however, at any given time, because all of the windows and the back door is covered over with plastic.
Third:
Crazy storms all day, a band of mean-ass hail just passed through and there are tornadoes galore about 10 miles to the east.
