Right now I'm ... Janine awesomeness
Thanks Carol, Jonathan, Larry, Petra and Jim. It was a beautiful day here today. Breakfast was delicious.
Happy Mother day in advance to all of the TC Mum's. I can't get access to a computer so I'm kinda stuck in this thread.

I'm currently studying like a mad person for my state science test, I feel like I'm about to rip my hair out. Do you think having bald patches will come into style?
Right now I'm wondering if GR has finally developed a 'boring' filter on our messages pre-post. I have posted a couple of comments recently that have disappeared into the ether after I posted them. COME ON, that boring, really? :(
Gail, I find it impossible to believe that anything you say could be that boring!
P.S. I don't go into the rugby thread, though.

Is this one of the ones you are talking about?
Oooops sprung. Nah, I hit the boring filter myself on that one. But there have been a couple of posts that have simply disappeared on their own.
Yeah, I noticed the disappearing caption too. Definitely not boring, Gail--would have been a good contribution. As for the other ones you mention, the ways of GR are mysterious, I guess.
I'm waiting for my chocolate cakes to cool and for my white cakes to get done baking. I should make buttercream tonight, but I'm tired and maybe a tad lazy, so I'm just going to do it tomorrow- along with some marshmallow fondant.
What is the occasion Kristine? I didn't see my invite. :)
I'm baking/decorating cakes for my friend's daughter's first birthday party. We're doing an "Alice in One-derland" (baby is named Alice) theme. I'm looking forward to the decorating part!!PS. You're more than welcome. I can pick you up at the Portland Airport on Saturday morning. :)
Now the question is, should I go to my daughters hockey game or fly to Portland? Tough choice. Enjoy the party. :D
Kristina, I'd love the recipe for marshmallow fondant and I agree that we need to see the recipes!I am trying to fish a sunflower seed out of my bra.
Jammies! Marshmallow fondant is super easy!!Ingredients:
1 bag marshmallows
1 bag powdered sugar
splash of water
Crisco
Empty bag of marshmallows into microwave safe bowl. Splash water over the top of them (maybe 2 tablespoons). Microwave for one minute. Stir. Microwave for about another 30 seconds, or until all marshmallows are melted and you have no lumps.
Pour 1/2 bag of powdered sugar into bowl with marshmallows and stir the hell out of i (I use a silicone spatula thing). Add more sugar as you go, until it's too hard to stir.
Grease countertop or cutting board or working surface SUPER WELL with Crisco. (Also grease up your hands). Dust greased surface with powdered sugar. Scoop marshmallow mixture onto greased and powderd sugar area (it might be warm, do not burn hands- hot marshmallow is right up there with hot glue). Knead mixture (adding powdered sugar from surface). If you want to color it, now's the time for adding food coloring (gel, not liquid). Knead coloring into fondant until it's well incorporated.
(This whole process will take about 10 minutes).
If it's too sticky, knead in more sugar in SMALL amounts. If it gets too dry, knead in blobs of Crisco in SMALL amounts.
To store fondant, roll into ball, lightly grease with Crisco and cover with plastic wrap. When you're ready to use it again, just knead it a bit and then roll it out (or make shapes or whatever you want to do).

With a rod and reel?

A parrot perhaps?
Right now I want to leave work. Now. Right now. I just received a message to say there is a package from the US waiting for me. OMG OMG I wanna open it now.
::jumps up and down::
I'm not going to be home for another 2 1/2 hours.
Cruel, very cruel. I asked who it's was from, I was sent a picture of the envelope. It is blank.
I will cry if I get home and it is just junk mail.

right now i'm watching eurovision, europe's annual cheese fest, where it's ok to serenade europe's last stratocracy.http://youtu.be/9T2d_woxdLQ
of course the live version is much better. it has fire!
i kind of love this:http://youtu.be/M3sXC2gLejM
of course my judgement can't be trusted on nights like these.
Right now I'm procrastinating changing the smelly diaper I can smell from ten feet away. Don't wanna.
Right now, I'm hoping that the weather forecast was right, and that it will rain, storm, thunder, lightning. But not too much.
right now, i'm piddling around checking email, visiting social networking sites, cleaning this and that in the house......anything to pass the time until lynn gets home from work. damn those weekends he has to work, anyway!!!
I received a CD from someone who didn't identify themselves. But by my super powers of deduction (and GR's search function) I was able to track that someone down. :)
I love the CD and it was fun trying to work out who sent it. Yes it was a TC member. :)

Why are you dancing a lonely tango? Or is that a line from something I'm not familiar with?
Oh sorry, it was too subtle for an Australian. You have to hit me with a brick.
Gail «Cyborg» wrote: "Oh sorry, it was too subtle for an Australian. You have to hit me with a brick."That doesn't sound you can do that too often... far too rough for me...
Me too, that's why most things go over my head.
