Is it sunny where you are?

message 6152: by Cynthia (new)

Cynthia Paschen | 7333 comments Good Morning Gail! The sun is shining on us here in Iowa! After all the rain and clouds, I am delighted to see the light.

message 6153: by Jammies (new)

Jammies No, it's grey. We're supposed to have warmth and thunderstorms today, which makes it a good day for cleaning. Wanna come help me clean?

Ummm can I say no to the cleaning? I've been cleaning non stop the last two days.

I am glad it is sunny where you are Cynthia. Someone has to have some sunshine.

message 6155: by Jammies (new)

Jammies Gail, of course you can say no! But it's a good think Cynthia is here to amuse you, because I need to go clean.

Good morning, Cynthia, and if you feel like passing that sunshine eastward, I wouldn't say no. ;)

message 6156: by [deleted user] (new)

No worries. Enjoy your cleaning.

Phil | 11852 comments I'm up. Got my Tahs cap on for breakfast. :)

Woot woot. Just don't visit the rugby thread. We just narrowly lost to the Reds -- had a try disallowed in the 69th minute that would have sealed us the victory.

Thanks! I hope your day is almost over and you can go have a Lager (that's Australian for beer).

Good morning Jammies. I'm done with my cleaning, now I've got to start cooking. We're having an Easter dinner tonight with my mom and brother. Lamb shoulder roast, green salad, Greek salad with black-eyed peas, potatoes, veggies. And maybe some Reese's eggs, if my 19-year-old agrees to pass around her Easter basket.

message 6163: by [deleted user] (new)

Goodnight everyone. Thanks for coming to play with me. :)

Cynthia Paschen | 7333 comments Good night, Gail. Sweet dreams.

Jackie "the Librarian" | 8991 comments Right now I'm working the youth services desk at the Olympia Library. It's a beautiful sunny day, so there aren't many patrons in the library, and those that are, are saying things like "too bad you have to work today."
Yes, thanks so much. Sigh.

message 6166: by [deleted user] (new)

Right now I'm sending loving thoughts to a glass of water in front of me.

message 6167: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) Is it boiling yet?

message 6168: by Jonathan (new)

Jonathan Lopez | 4726 comments Just got back from visiting my grandmother. Her broken wrist seems to be healing pretty well, although it's still going to be a while until she can really use that arm again. Her "baby brother," Frank, stopped by too. He's 91.

message 6169: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) I'm glad she's doing well. You must come from strong stock. I remember when my great-grandfather fell and broke his wrist at 80-something. He never really recovered, had a stroke shortly thereafter.

Jonathan Lopez | 4726 comments My grandmother came from a pretty big family--6 brothers and sisters. She and Frank are the last ones left. But all those who managed to avoid cigarettes generally lived to a ripe old age.

Jim | 6484 comments Glad your grandmother is doing well Jonathan. May she continue to heal quickly.

message 6172: by [deleted user] (new)

It is great your grandmother is recovering Jonathan.

Right now it's Easter morning. I'm stuffing my face full of chocolate and not feeling guilty. I will later, too much chocolate always makes me feel sick.

message 6173: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) Good for you. Don't feel guilty. Hope you don't get sick from it.

message 6174: by Félix (new)
