Larry, are you becoming bulimic?

message 5852: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) No I'm just trying to lose some weight.

message 5853: by Lobstergirl, el principe (new)

Lobstergirl | 24821 comments Mod
Carry on then.

message 5854: by [deleted user] (new)

A skinny sock monkey wouldn't be anywhere near as cute as a tubby cuddly one Larry.

message 5855: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) Oh then maybe I was commenting on the previous post.

message 5856: by Jammies (new)

Jammies ...drinking coffee and trying to warm up after my less-than-lovely drive home.

message 5857: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) What do you drive, a one horse open sleigh?

message 5858: by Jim (new)

Jim | 6484 comments Maybe a dog sled?

Typing a status update into Goodreads.

Eating Panera's macaroni and cheese. And sucking on an ice cube to sooth my burned tongue. Never eat food when there's a shitload of steam coming from it.

Jackie "the Librarian" | 8991 comments Hot cheese is dangerous! I've burnt the roof of my mouth on pizza before because of impatience that way.
Sympathies, Esme.

message 5862: by Justin (new)

Justin Valentino (JustinV) That's Esme for you.

*grin* A sleigh might be warmer--I drive a 1997 Saturn station wagon.

message 5864: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) 1997 was an excellent year for Saturns. Er ... wasn't it?

Skanky skirts can do that.

Nothing personal, but if you could stay away from Wisconsin for a couple weeks I'd appreciate it. No rain needed here.

Trying to analyze a Shakespeare exert, doing Calc problems, and pray to God that my report card is good. It's sitting on the dresser, but I'm too chicken to open it. I know I screwed up last semester.

Heidi (heidihooo) | 10825 comments She's fine. Doc's cute (and married... I looked). Gonna have to do some routine testing. We'll be spending the afternoon here.

message 5882: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) Good.

message 5883: by Heidi (new)

Heidi (heidihooo) | 10825 comments Also, we have a lovely view of the Target parking lot from her exam room. :)

message 5884: by [deleted user] (new)

Target's always nice to look at.

Right now, I just found out that Justin put me as his pet peeve in another group :(

message 5885: by Sally, la reina (new)

Sally (mrsnolte) | 17373 comments Mod
Leah likes to look at Target. We often go just to stroll.

Jackie "the Librarian" | 8991 comments I'm procrastinating going to Costco, wishing the sun would come back out like it did yesterday, and wondering if going to see a movie about a man having to chop off his own arm is the thing to do when I'm feeling blue. Will it gross me out and upset me, or will it make me feel pretty good in comparison?

message 5887: by Heidi (new)

Heidi (heidihooo) | 10825 comments Blehhh... looks like they're admitting her overnight for observation.

Jackie "the Librarian" | 8991 comments Drat, drat, drat, Heidi. I'm sorry, sweetie. I hope she's okay.
:::hugs:::

message 5889: by Jammies (new)

Jammies Heidi, I'm sorry. Sending lots of good thoughts.

message 5890: by Heidi (new)

Heidi (heidihooo) | 10825 comments They just wanna IV some antibiotics into her, but she's happy to be getting out of her Monday morning staff meeting, so I guess it's not so bad. :) As soon as I know where her room will be, I'll head to her house for some overnight stuff.

message 5891: by Jonathan (new)

Jonathan Lopez | 4726 comments I hope your stepmother's going to be okay, Heidi. I also spent the afternoon at the hospital. My grandmother took a spill and broke her wrist, but the doctors seem pretty certain that there's no other damage. It could have been a lot worse. She's 97.

message 5892: by Jim (new)

Jim | 6484 comments Good luck to her Heidi.

message 5894: by Félix (new)

Félix (habitseven) Wow. 97! Here's hoping for the very best for your grandmother, Jonathan -- and Heidi for your stepmom.

message 5897: by Heidi (new)

Heidi (heidihooo) | 10825 comments Just now leaving hospital... now that she's had 4 hrs of antibiotics, her fever's gone down. She's staying overnight. Going to check on my bro... he lives w/ her. I hope your grandmother's feeling better, Johnathan :)

message 5898: by Jammies (new)

Jammies Heidi, I'm glad her fever is down.

Jonathan, I hope your grandmother heals quickly.

message 5899: by Carol (new)

Carol | 1678 comments I hope your stepmom's feeling better, Heidi. Overnights in the hospital are no fun. Chemo sucks in so many ways.

Jonathan, hope your grandmother heals quickly!

Right now I'm waiting for my crackle nail polish to dry. Thanks for the head's up about this stuff, Jammies!
