What do you think is the best part of the book?
The part when she becomes aware of the greater meaning of him giving his ring to her ;)
I would say when they were rescuing Bitterblue and until Katsa comes back for Po.
Poor Po :/
Poor Po :/
When Katsa (view spoiler) And in the beginning, when Katsa meets Po, and they fight. And when Katsa and Bitterblue cross over the mountain. And when Raffin turns his hair blue. And when Katsa and Bitterblue are on the ship. And when Katsa frees herself from Randa. And I'd say the whole book, but apparently, I'm not allowed to. (Nonetheless, best part? (view spoiler) )
When Katsa stands up to Randa because of Po, he's so proud of her you can tell. I love that bit!
I like the part when katsa is attracted to Po, and he (spoiler) reads her mind!
when katsa kills that guy (can't remember his name) with a knife she threw his mouth, and the time where they went to the beach in his cave
When Raffin turns his hair blue. xD It was so funny.
Gah! So many things I forgot on this list.
I loved the whole boat section and I adored the slow discovery of Po's character, all those first tantalizing moments between them; made all the sweeter by the relationship maintaining its integrity throughout the book.
I loved the scene when Katsa refused to beat up the merchant with the daughters. And I loved the scene when Katsa and Bitterblue were taken in and care for by the big family. I loved the Captain of the ship (mentioned already) and I LOVED Katsa meeting Po's family for the first time in Po's castle. The moment with Po's mother when she comes to understand why Katsa threw the knife.
A part of the book I really admire (writing wise) was after they first encounter Leck and Katsa doesn't understand why Po wants her to attack. The perspective in that scene is genius because we're reading it through Katsa's eyes but everything she observes (objectively) about Po reveals his own reaction to the situation - how heartbroken he is when he realizes Katsa is too dangerous a weapon to keep around Leck and tries to make her retreat when all he wants is revenge. The scene is so very powerful, heartbreaking, and well written.

I actually liked the part where they made love. It's because of how it was written. I never thought a sex scene could be written in such a beautiful manner. The sex wasn’t even explicitly said. Yet the choice of words were so careful, so tender and so pure… the emotion felt so raw and powerful at the same time. The strength in the subtlety was beautiful. Having been with the incredibly strong and independent Katsa since the first chapter, I felt how much this meant to her, and the way she described it with so much warmth and tenderness really reached through me

When Katsa goes mad and angry just coz Giddon is in love with her and doesn't know what to think. And when she demands of Raffin "YOU'RE not in love with me, are you?" I just cracked up into giggles like Bann and Raffin did.
The best part is when katsa asks raffin if he loves her and he starts laughing. So funny!
I love the part where Po tries to actually "look at" Katsa when they are sitting around the fire and she practically wants to jump him. It always makes me laugh because it perfectly portrays what both of them are like and that they are perfect for each other. ;)
