I believe that Rose will not kill Dimitri. Not only is there going to be Blood Promise but there is only going to be 1 more book afte that. I think that Blood Promise will not be based on Dimitri but will be based on Rose's quest to find him. It will give us(the readers)and Rose more insight on what the outside world is away from the academy. I've also read these books many times and have noticed how complex the dialoges between the characters are. As I followed certain conversations I could tell one of the mysteries of the books is who Rose's father is and dimitri's family. I believe not only will Rose travel to Turkey(this is the place Rose and her mother argued over. It is most likely where Rose's father lives) but Rose will also meet Dimitri's family. She will learn more about Dimitri and who he was and more about her father. Besides these points another theory I have is more or less the developement of Rose's character. How she will laern more about herself and if she can live with killing dimitri and leaving lissa behind. When leaving the safety of the academy the first time she was with lissa but now she is one her with their bond still intact. I the moment comes where in her bond she knows lissa is in danger but is on the verge of finding dimitri will she chose her best friend or settle for destorying her love forever.
One of my last ideas I got was from Meads blog. She tells of how rose will get some unknown power because she is shadowkissed. I think this power will link her with the soals of the dead. With this power she may beable to bring domitri back. Not turning him into a dhampir but maybe into a morire. This I believe beacause if the strigoi are undead maybe Rose can bring back the soal but not the fact that he will still be a vampire. This also brings on the idea that if Dimitri is made into a Morire Rose and him can be together, have a child and Dimitri(if her has a element power) can help other Morire fight and use their element powers to protact themselves.
My last and final theory is pretty well guessed by many others. It is that Mason alone was lieing maybe to test Rose's loyalty or just because he didn't want her love Dimitri anymore. This idea also goes into who the blonde vampire was. He was the one who bit dimitri in the cave fight. If dimitri is alive or dead could he use Rose's love for Dimitri to get to lissa.
Truely all of these are my own opinions. Really they could all be wronge and Mead could come up with her own surprise ending just as she did with Shadow Kiss.

I am at the point where I will absolutely refuse to begin series if all the books aren't published yet. This is driving me crazy. This is the third series I've started this year and have to wait for the new books to get published.

LOL I've got it easy compared to you guys though....I started the series Saturday and finished the third book today and then started reading all the comments...I have less than a month to wait for the next one, but you guys have had to wait for months and months.....
That is no fair. lol jk but I know its horrible having to wait!!! And the worst part is that It comes out on the 25 and we will all be finished in at least one day!!! So then yet again. We will have to wait for MONTHS AND MONTHS AND MONTHS!!!!!!!
Well, looking on the bright side, we have goodreads to help us through the trauma. Group therapy at its best, since we'll all have anxiety disorder or something. :p

I know. every time i read it i have too i have read it like four times but only once where he "leaves" i use "" cuz he IS gonna come back lol. then i just skip to the part where she goes and talks to Adrian! man I love him! im like Rose. he just sort of has this charisma thing. who knows.

Hey guys. I'm new on here, but I've been reading the comments since page 1. Can't wait til Blood Promise, but I think I know who the blonde Strigoi is. Remember when Rose was talking about the "stunt" her and Lissa pulled before they ran away? When Lissa was making Wade destroy things? I think the blonde is Wade because he remembers Lissa and Rose from before he was changed! Tell me whatcha think.
yeah that could be true Kaykay. And Pandy, you can be right too. I mean either would work sense the guardians new about Rose's and Lissa's bond. And so could Wade. But why didnt mead say so?!?!?!?!?!hhhmmmmmmm. . . . I think we just found ourselves some more Foreshadowing. . .
