could be lissas bro but that would b hard 2 arrange. and spirit bound vould refer 2 the fact that rose is getting closer 2 the land of the dead and is therefore destined 2 become a spirit in the near future. that is a dodge theory bu i dont care. maybe rose can find Dimitris spirit that left his body when he turned strigoi and is waiting for his body to join him (metaphorically) in the afterlife, and reconnect it to him body exileing all of the strigoi presence that currently taints his being.
