If Dimitri was to guard Christan that would bring up the same problems that he and Rose had with both guarding Lisa. Cause Rose and Christan are always together which means if they get attached while Lisa and Christan are together he would protect Rose first. He would have to guard someone that is less likely to be hanging around Lisa than Christan or Adrian. Plus I am not sure if Dimitri comes back if he could take Adrian's constant flirting with Rose, and I am not sure that Adrian would want Dimitri close to him knowing that he has Roses hart and not him (you know the whole green eyed monster thing).
The cover kind of suck in a way because it does not give us any hints as to what will happen next, but then again neither did all the others.

I don't like it at all. I like the other covers better than that one.
When Roses mom finds out she might be furious with her and go looking for her herself. But thats the least of our worries. What if there is no way of getting Dimitri back if he is Strigori and Rose sees him and cant kill him will she also becaome Strigori as well and then what would happen. Thats why Im dieing to get the new book and find out the answers
if janine follows her and finds that dimitri turned her into a strigoi she would probably kill them both.
Can anyone tell who the girl is on the cover of Blood Promise? I'm pretty sure it is Rose, but I can't tell.
I thought that Rose was the one from the first cover, which might make the girl on this cover the new character maybe.
I think it was Rose because who else could it be
its definately NOT rose. maybe the new character, maybe lissa or maybee they're bringing Christians aunt back into the picturee. Just a thought. doubting the last onee thoo
But it dosent look like Lissa look at Shadow Kiss. Who knows who it is August just needs to get here faster so we can read Blood Promise.
Morio can't be guardians-pretty sure-so Dimitri is a dhampir. I don't think that Mead would take Dimitri out of the books. He has played such a big part in this series that the universe would just explode if he died-seriously, it's just not an option.
Where did that blond strigo know Rose from??? That might be a part of the next book. and this new character-Sydney or whatever-could be another spirit user who wants to be friends with Lissa and, like, replace Rose.-very mean. Just something i heard.

ok sorry but i realy think rose is prego. as someone mentioned before everything in her books has a meaning and i think the christian lissa condom thing is a hint. she just doesnt seem like the kind of auther to throw that in just to make us think about safe sex, or gross us out. because i for one dont want to know details about someones sexs life and i think she gets that.just a thought

yeah he is a dhampir and i know it would take a miricle for her to be prego or demitri to become a dhampri again but really rose IS a miricle and she and a spirt user just may be the miricle needed. idk.on a random topic does anyone else think they could have picked a better demitrim for the covers? dont get me wrong the guy on the cover is hot but really he could have been hotter.
In order to be a Guardian you have to be a dhpmpir, it does say that in like book one. So going on that train of thought Dimitri would then be a dhpmpir to. Plus no were in the last 3 books did they say a moroi, could be a guardian. I mean look at the last two books, Rose almost didn't make it out because moroi's have been conditioned not to fight, and in the last book was the first time in centuries that moroi fought with guardians. Plus the only reason Christin and Liza used a condom is because they are both moroi which as we know is a mating pair that can have babies. Plus they said Dimitri's dad was a Moroi that visited the camp where his mom stays, and that his mom is a dhpmpir in the last book after the tara card reading. As we know from the first and second book Moroi + dhpmpir = dhpmir, so he is a dhpmir. Plus in book 2 Rose thought it was a good idea toward the end that Dimitri goes with Christin's aunt because they could have children, which implies that she knows that she could never have children with him.
i think that all of you make some very good points. if Dimitri dies i will die with him. i wish the book would come out now!!!!! it would be pretty weird if rose is pregnant that would mean that Dimitri was secretly a moroi. that would be weird yet cool. mason might have lied. maybe he's jealous??? whoa jealous ghost! i hope lissa will stop being so selfish and bring freaking dimitri back from the 'dead'.
ok guy i was just doing my hair wile listening to music and an idea hit me. we all are coming up with these radical ideas on how she could be pregnat, if she really is, well where did it say they two dhampirs cant have babys with each other? it only said to make a dhampir you had a few options: dhampir + morri or morri + human. but no where did it say they cant have babys with each other we just asumed that, and maybe they did too. what it turned out human or like 3/4 morri? that is just a theory i came up with.

okay, on yahoo answers i asked a similar question including my own theories, so i'm just gonna copy and paste:okay, so i just finished shadow kissed like two minutes ago, and i am literally crying my eyes out... but for some reason i had a feeling that demetri was gonna become strigoi, because it was too good to be true. after all they've been through, after all the confusion, all of there troubles would be wisked away in a few hours... no, it was wayyy too good to true.
so i have some theories about what's going to happen in blood promise:
1: i have this feeling in the back of my mind that mason was lying to rose about demetri being strigoi, i'm not sure why.
I just think that mason would lie to her, because he loved her so much, and he resented demetri for having a place in her heart and soul, that he would never have. also, remember when she asked mason if demetri had been turned strigoi, he HESITATED, then nodded.
2: we are definately going to see some more lissa, adrian, christian, eddie, and maybe even mia.
3: if demetri IS actually strigoi, then he would be a very dedicated one, one that would lead some big strigoi army
4: if demetri isn't a strigoi, and rose kills him before realizing what she did, then she's gonna make lissa make him come back to life, or she's gonna find some way to bring him back herself, something about her being shadowkissed, that's what the whole book is about.
5: demetri is gonna stick with us until the 5th book, but we're going to see him in the 4th, definately because that would be a very boring book, and rachelle knows better than to do that.
6: she's gonna go back to the academy, but in secret.
7: this one, i am absolutely positive: she's gonna go to victor for answers, but he's gonna make her do something stupid in return, like help him break out of prison. This Part I'm Not So Sure: and an alliance will be formed until one of them betrays the other
8: but definately, we're gonna see victor

i think it's possible that if demetri is strigoi, and rose finds him, he'll remember her just like the blond remembered rose and lissa, and he'll remember what they had, and what they did together, and maybe he'll be a "good" strigoi like natalie (well, she wasn't a good strigoi because she became one for the wrong reasons, but she did it to make moroi numbers more) or so we think.
so that's another theory

also, i'm not sure why, but i think that the fact that lisa and victor have the same initials will play a small part in the book (when victor sent rose that note in shadowkissed, for a minute, i thought it was from lisa)
but really, leave it to rachelle to say something really small in an earlier book and make it something big later on, just wait, it'll happen.

also, i think that mason saw demetri and rose having sexand i know people always say that rose is gonna be prego with demetri's baby, but i don't believe it...
rachelle always takes time in the beginning of every book to explain how the mating goes... but i think that's the problem.
i think that adrian will go into her dreams, and make her have sex with him. and then she'll be pregnant in real life? but i don't think that's possible, and i don't think it's gonna happen.
i think people are getting over excited with what happened in breaking dawn, with a preganancy that was pretty much impossible... but it's not gonna happen.
also:
i like rose and demetri's relationship much better than bella and edwards because with rose and demetri, they fight together, they fight as EQUALS.
but with bella and edward, bella is always sitting in the sidelines while edward does all the work...don't get me wrong: i love twilight more than almost anything, it's just that bella's character is kind of pathetic (not in the mean way)
i dont think that rose will get pregent or that she will turn into a Strigoi. It just doesnt make sense that any of that would happen. I just cant wait until the book comes out so we can all read what really happens.

This is kinda random but i'd like to hear peoples thoughts on my theory...( btw sorry if someone else has already said this.)In shadow kiss the fortune teller told rose she would "destory that which is undead." Rose thought it ment killing strigoi and so did I at first but then I thought about the way it's worded is quite strange. In the second book when dimitri talks to rose about the strigoi he says " no one gets over their first kill... kills easily." In all the books when they talk about strigoi they always say kills, they never say destroy. So just maybe this could me rose could make dimitri dampire again but destorying the undead.
I'm probably just over thinking things but what do you guys think??

Yes, that is what I thought to, I think back on page 2 or 3 I explained my thoughts on the subject. Ok Strigoi's are neither dead nor alive right, so maybe the black shadows Rose sees like the ones on the airplane are souls. Since Rose is shadow kissed maybe she can open the door way to the of the dead, and can bring the souls back with her thus putting them back into the Strigoi's making them dhampirs again, thus destroying the undead because there will be no more undead.

ok thiss is sorta strange but Rose physic reading has somthing to do with this it said she had to kill. i think she is going to kill Dimtiri but not all the way and replace his blood with hers and there blood mixing will save them both. and the last line of book 3 "i was setting out, to kill the man i love." Well apparently there is something we're all missing because Dimitri HAS been a huge part in the other three books.He was a dhampir-I'm pretty sure.Not a Moroi. Because they-Moroi-can't be guardians.
But maybe Lissa and Adrian both can somehow heal him using spirt.
