Dimitri and Rose.
i agree with everyone who say "DIMITRI CANNOT DIE! OR I WILL DIE WITH HIM!" I would. Truely and honestly. I got so anxious that I e-mailed her. she replies to everyone as I hear it and she had responded to my friend once. So i will wait for her reply. I only asked her if Dimitri will be okay. not what happens. Personally i dont care whether Dimitri is Strigoi or not, if eveythiong turns out okay in the end between him and rose then i am totally fine!!!! But right now i am very very very very nervious and excited for the next book. I dont think Mead would kill someone so important and what i know, Dimitri is one of her favorite characters, she wouldn't kill him. She also is aware that everyone who reads her books *or almost everyone* LOVES Dimitri and Rose, and if anything happened terrible to either or, her book would go down the charts perhaps and her 5th book would not be appriciated if Dimitri was killed! Also, lets remember that the tiniest details become HUGE later on. So always pay attention to those types of things. Like the blonde Strigoi, and the way Strigoi are made, remember Rose repeats it many times, so it should be important i think. And also think about Mason's character and feelings for Rose. And think about Mia and Lissa's words, "Mason is crazy for you! He'd do anything for you. You pretty much have him bowing at your feet!" something like that! And Rose being Shadow Kissed is not small detail, it's rather HUGE! Mead would NOT in NO WAY give Rose the power to talk to spirits and see them if it wasn't connected to saving or used in huge sences! It has to be used, and was probably created in the story for saving someone, in particular Dimitri! I think this cliff hanger was only to make people thirsty for more, thats what authors do. I wouldn't worry about it so much, unless for some reason the fourth books is sad and Dimitri dies, but then remember there always is the fifth! so lets cross our fingers!!!

I am keeping my fingers crossed for Rose and Dimitri. I hope everyone else is going the same =) Dimitri is a character worth saving and keeping alive. I beleive the Mead will keep him =)
i totally and completely agree with Christine about EVERYTHING she said! and anybody who doesnt is CRAYZZZZ! :)
(1) I think that Lissa will go after Rose and the crow that she saved will lead the way to Dimitri. and when they get to him Lissa will use that super compulsion on all the Strigoi and put them in a happy place and when that happens Rose will stake Dimitri and Lissa will heal him (because in shadow kiss when she had Jesse under that she didn't have to focus on him the whole time) (2) I think Rose's fortune from Rhonda (you will destroy that which is undead) goes deeper than just staking Strigoi I think she has the power to turn them back to good but I think she had to die first and because I think when she saw Lissa's family they was also trying to tell her something like Mason did(they was like tellin her to join them) and when its all over Lissa will bring her back one more time.
But I look way to much into things lol
oh one more thing I think that crow will play a bigger part to instead of Rose getting all of Lissa's bad feelings from her magic maybe the crow can also take some in that way they all can be even. I don't know I just wish it was here now so I can stop thinking about it so much I just want to no and then you know book 5 wont be out till 2010 and I think there is a book 6 and it wont be out till 2010 it will drive me crazy as Lissa dose Rose.....

Rose with her shadow kissed spirit seeing abilities, is able to see the other shadow kissed Raven in the spirit world. And somehow i have feelings the Raven will Lead Rose to Dimitri's spirit, and she will return it to him. That is what i am hoping. but you all have other ideas, and i hope you all payed close attention to what i wrote on top.

wow these are some great ideas. i really believe that she wil find dimitri and save him in some way dealing with being shadow kissed. whethetr that is going into the spirit world and getting his soul back or having lisa come to her sences and follow rose and then heal Dimitri. all i know is i now will fall for any tall Russian guy with brown hair that i see. =D

"That is such a good theory... it totally fits with the whole aura thing with Adrian. Maybe Strigio is just something that "infects" your aura- a darkness that can be destroyed
well ok you know Dimitri lives because there are 2 more books coming out HE BETTER!!! lets just hope that Rose don't get with Adrian that would just make me not want to read the next 2 books if she dose.....

i have already said that the crow will become a scapegoat so yeah.I think that Dimitri will be turned into a moroi as he will still have a soul that yearns for rose and this will happen after the blond vampire from roses past turns him Strigoi and to make everyone happy rose will then be able to become pregnant but will also be torn between being his gaurdian or Lissas. They will discover Roses father on their way to retreive Dimitri from his Hell from thinking he has lost Rose forever as he belives he is still strigoi and that is about it for now so yeah.
if dimitri becomes morio then he and rose can have a baby! that would be so awesome! :)
I hope they don't have a baby then the book would be like Twilight. I don't want to feel like I'm reading Twilight again.

Tegz - I don't think it's a possibility at all for Rose to be pregnant. I'm pretty sure dhampires tried to reproduce with each other (like the dhampire couple in the first book) and no baby bump. Besides, Rose is always kicking Strigoi ass and took the path to become a Guardian - being pregnant does not fit her. And the Blood Promise description is finally revealed!! Yaaaay.

I dont think there is a liklyhood of rose becoming pregnant. Even though that might sound a little thrilling, Dimitri is unlikely to become Moroi, and we all pray he will become a Dmphire again, ane thus he will not be able to get Rose pregnant. But if they wanted a baby the would possibly adopt one, *which sounds cliche at the moment* but i doubt either would be able to take care of one, and they'd know it, and thus they would not adopt one.
they also cant have kids cause theyll be to worried to throw themselves in front of their kids instead of the morio they are protecting like how they both cant guard lissa cause they will throw themselves in front of each other and in the description we already knew she would go after him so why are they repeating that and how she chose to go after him instead of guarding lissa till she finds him and kills him??
I don't know but I want them to stay together!!!!!

Also, Rose knew Lissa was safe, and she needed to live up to a promise to Dimitri. Rose isn't one to break a promise. She promised Dimitri she would kill him if he became Strigoi. However, we all know she wont do it. A. They love each other way to much. B. Richelle knows people will stop reading her books if a major lead character, one that everyone love, was killed. C. Rose will figure out she can indeed save Dimitri, and D. Call in instinct that we know Dimitri will be okay.
Lissa is safe, and Rose knows it. She saw no need to be extremely... protective. and also, it isn't concidered repeating what they did not want to happen. She thinks this comes down to killing strigoi right now, but i have feelings she will be set straight and save Dimitri instead of staking/killing him.
You know what if the blond Strigoi is Rose's dad? that would be crazy.

I have an annoncement everyone. Most of you probably know this, but Richelle posted the summary for "Blood Promise" on her blog. the full summary. It made me almost choke in happiness and despair. So the insights look good for Dimitri and Rose, but Rose and Lissa...not so good, and for Rose staying mortal...also not so good. But we'll see. As most know book summaries aren't everything, they just give you a taste if the book. Richelle said she has Roses story all planned out, and it is a 100% if not 99% things with Dimitri and Rose will turn out good. I dont want to be a total party pooper, but most of everyone's theories may not be what we all hoped for. It turns out Rose may actually turn Strigoi. Doubt it though. I think it was writting like that to lure people in. BUT we will all see. Check it out =)

this is the link to her blog. It may seem a little sad, but we know Dimitri and Rose will be fine. Richelle said Rose's story is planned, there will be 6 books, and 6 others in VA series about OTHER vampires.
