They can't have babies with each other tho so i dont think she would be pregnant

I agree with what Cc said a little while back.which lead me to theory 1:
Rose's moment on the plane while Andre was jesturing for her to come to her rightful place in the land of the dead. the way they make it seem in this series is that the souls would go to the LOTD (land of the dead). Of course Rose wouldn't realize she could for awhile and she'd try other things...but eventually I think she woul retreat to find his soul or something....Mead would make it work

The blonde Strigoi has to be important....he wouldn't have been the one to take Dimitri if he wasn't. We already know he wanted to kill Lissa. he probably was in the group that raded her dorm and took Eddie. Mead could have had any strigoi take Dimitri. Unless she truely wanted him out fo the series, it wouldn't matterif we knew the strigoi you took him (know him like had seen him before, she probably still would have described him because Rose would notice). But sense it was the blonde one, I'm thinking he's either keeps Dimitri captive or something...I don't really think Mason was lying but idk....I do know that Mead would have built up Dimitri and Rose's relationship (with the sex and showing how everything culd actually work out after graduation) just to take Dimitri out and replace him with Adrian.
And I think Blood Promise is going to be about getting Dimitri back not getting id of all Strigoi. I think they will get an idea on how to do that and try it on Dimitri (and i'm saying they because of course Christian and Lissa are going to follow her eventually!) and then in the fifth book they might distroy the Stirgoi all-together....seems like a good way to finish off the series with a good ending....without Strigoi Rose and Dimitri will be together (that's right Dimitri will be alive and well in the fifth book haha) and not have to worry about not being able to focus on Lissa...
haha okay so let me know what you all think!
i know I jumped around a lot with theories but i believe in them each a bit...some more than others but yeah.
oh and someone said it was only going to be 272 pages?!?! I might be wrong but i heard 480...haha I really really really hope I heard right

Well, um your opinions are quite interesting but i think that just as natalie in the first book was able to hold herself off from killing her father i think dimitri does the same with rose but somehow seduces her yes as a stragoi and they go and have sex and he knocks up rose cuz dhampir on dhampir wont work only vampire on vampire or vampire on dhampire and stragoi is a kind of vampire only evil yeah i dont know if i made sense but thats what i think
yeah it makes sense....and i hadn't thought of how Natalie held off her father...but idk.....i really don't think anyone ill get pregnant

Michelle, Armybrats_read2 meant that dhampirs can't have babies with each other, but then I just though of something.Did it ever actually say Dimitri was a dhampir? I know that's pretty much impossible, but I am trying here.
I am just scared that in the 4th book Rose won't find Dimitri and it will just be an endless book of her journey finding him, and in the 5th is when she'll find him

That would be boring if in Blood Promise the story would just be rose finding dimitri. I just hope he is alive and that the book comes out faster. Arg!!!!!!!!!!! But it is posible for rose to have dimitri's baby. Mead can write anything. I just hope that she doesn't write that. Rose is too young to have a baby. Lissa is seriously really selfish. Rose was willing to give up a lot of things for Lissa but Lissa can't do just 1 thing for Rose. no one will answer this so i am going to post it again and hopefully someone will answer me. Okay i looked it up on Mead's blog for you, and because i had no idea. It's hard to explain btu even harder to find on the blog so I'll tryfrom what I would piece together mead knew she wanted to add a character but didn't know what to name it so she had a contest were people could submit names. Sydney was the one she liked best but is still at liberty to change. she isn't saying anything about her actual character though.
start adding her to your theories!!!

i thought i heard somewhere that she was another spirit user i'm not sure where i got that from. It might have been one of those things where people write the book as what they think will happen. i stumbled across it looking for spoilers and didn't know what it was at first so i'm not sure if that is true

i don't think mason would lie personally...hes to good a guy and always wanted the best for rose if you think about it..i will cry my eyes out..NO JOKE..if dimitri leaves... i will be depressed..
i have got all the girls in my school reading these books..haha..they are the best..and i am so sad that i have to wait for the next!

Thanks Natalie. I agree with you kaitlyn123vafan. I just don't think that Mason would lie. he is too good of a guy. I also think that maybe Sydney is trying to replace Rose when she meets Lissa. She probally is a spirit user too. Thats my guess.
Dhamps can have babies, but just not with other dhamps. It has to be with Moroi men or women, that is why dhampir children mostly don't have fathers BECAUSE they are Moroi, royal or not.Moroi can have them with each other (that is why Lissa and Christian had to use a condom) and as for humans, it is possible not that anyone has tried these interactions... for a looonnnggg time.
Hope that helps; that is why Rose kind of wanted Dimitri to be with Tasha, cause she is Moroi and her and Dimitri could have kids.

Maybe though Lisa will heal Dimitri if Rose staked him because the fortune teller told Lisa that she was on a rebirth of GREAT POWER and emotion. So maybe that GREAT POWER is so great that it can bring back Dimitri from the dead.

i forgot to add that i think that means that it could be a good posibility that rose will ethier kill him which will completly suck and make me cry or she will save him but ethier way its going to take him by surprise

When i read over the books it makes me think... Maybe Rose's father appears in the fourth book... We got clues about him so maybe he'll come out and help Rose save Dimitrimaybe he has been in some cave in hiding and Rose finds him... Hopefuly Dimitri does come back and solve the problems with Rose and Lissa and their relationship.. I cant wait till the fourth book comes out! Them the fifth will come shortly after!
Ok peoples;heres more to think about..
Just cause I like to make people think :)

Mead has a way of writing things that has a reason for everything. For instance, Lissa's chotki was used in differenut situation- When Isaiah saw it and talked about the Dragomirs. And in the end of Shadow kiss, when Rose gave it back to her.. when .. well you know what happens. The point is, although they may seem like irrelevant items, she makes them incredibly meaningful in the end.
Do the research about the Nazar, it may be insightful. It didn't give me much.. but it gave me some ideas.
3. Ibrahim. Janine's moroi lover.
4. Dimtri's grandmother.
5. The fact that Rose may actually be allowed to access the world of the dead or undead.
6. Rhonda's fortune about Rose- you will destroy the undead.
Not kill... but destroy.. and Lissa's and hers combined.. DO THE MATH! hint hint.
7. Victors "connections"
8. The Moroi who are willing to fight alongside the Dhamps.. not just the Guardians.. but the Dhamps.
and last but not least for today...
9. When St. Vlad died, Anna killed herself.
So where does that leave Rose and Lissa...
and most importantly our beloved Dimitri?

Lissa, becomes a leader. We all know that.
But leader of what?
Throughout the books, it's made sense that for her to be the influence over the royals wasn't such a good idea. She couldn't handle the stress that came with it.
So what if? She becomes the leader of the fight against the Strigoi alongside Rose.
More specifically.. of all the Spirit Users.
Hence the rest of the fortune that I didn't post up above- "Power and leadership lie ahead of you, which you will handle with grace and intelligence. The seeds are already in place, though there's an edge of uncertainty- an enigmatic set of influences that hang around you like mist."
So let's break that down, shall we? (:
"Power and leadership lie ahead of you, which you will handle with grace and intelligence. The seeds are already in place, though there's an edge of uncertainty-" Pretty straight forward, clearly not referring to being royal at all. Lissa is confident when it comes to talking to other Royals.
The seeds- she knows what her power consists of.. and how there's so many more abilities that she can learn. The uncertainty.. the depression it comes along with it. And the doubt that comes with it everytime she uses it.
"an enigmatic set of influences that hang around you like mist."-
Many alternatives..
But here's some to consider.
Adrian.. helping her with her element.
And Rose of course.
Adrian always talks about Aura's and their significance... like mist.
The people that are bound to her.. because when using spirit you have to give a part of yourself to use the power.
So consider the people that she's healed..
- Christian.
- Victor
- the Raven
- Jesse
- Eddie
- All the people that got injured in the fight against the Strigoi on campus. etc etc
AND of course Rose.

As for the Rose staking Dimitri part. Yes, we've considered that. But, there's also other possibilites. That's what we're trying to figure out as well.
For instance..
-He could be strigoi and Rose can use her shadow kissed abilities to bring him back.
-The staking theory,
- Or he may not even be strigoi.. he could just simply be held captive.

Oakyy...ihave come to the realization that Mason could so be lying, to save Rose though. Cause that blonde strigoi or whatever just happened to come across rose and he told her that he was going to kill lisa (he probaly was the leader or somethin) and then he was the one who "killed" Dimitri, but i was looking stuff up and a thought occured to me. He could be holding Dimitri hostage to get to Rose to get to Lisa! Nah i dont know. All I know is that if Dimitri will not die.he's to main in the book. He'll come back to Rose (or Rose comes to him or something) and they will all live happily ever after...but, theres a fith book which means somehting happens,..but what?
And does anybody know when the fith book comes out? Hopefully not to long from the 4th book(which is waaay to feckin long away) because I would have read the fourth book in a day, seeings how its only 277 pgs. hmph

Rose and/or Dimitri would make more than excellent Strigoi.. they would a wonderful asset to the Strigoi's. That I would not mind.. as long as they are turned back and are together in the end.
okay so what i think is that rose will go find dimitri and lissa will follow and wen they find him lissa will heal dimitri but then all the bad stuff in lissa will transfer into rose likebefore when lissa used magic so rose will become all crazy and stuff and i dont know after that
I think the blond Strigoi is important, and that he had a reason behind turning Dimitri. I think that reason came to him when he realized out side the cave how much Rose cares for Dimitri. I think he did it on the hopes that Rose would come after him leaving Lisa not as well protected, that way while Rose is off chasing him he can go after and kill Lisa. What I don't think he is counting on though is that Lisa and Christan (maybe Adrian) will go after Rose, thus still leaving Lisa protected at the same time as trying to complete her goal of killing Dimitri.
