I agree that Dimitri is different from other strigoi,because of her love for Rose.but I don't think he can fix everything himself.otherwise,Mead wouldn't make up the spirit ring and the fairy tale.(as Rose calls it)
again,I believe he'll have to deal with spirit to be brought back.but love is what makes him able to do so.which means not all the strigoi can go under the process of getting healed by spirit.maybe that's why it's called a fairy tale.
how can you not be able to choose between adrian and dimitri? adrian aint even in the same class as dimitri. There is nothing to decide peeps. nothing. the decision should be made.

well ever since he turned i hated him ugh ugh ugh..so if she can turn him back go for it but if not 100 percent sure then dont drag your best friend into it! lissa worried about rose alot in blood promise and when she wasnt it wasnt her doing that remember? and rose thought about her too! when she wasnt drugged up! and i think dimitri would be better off at peace then being a dhampir then strigoi then dhampir again its too complicated and what if it was like if you guys kno it but anyway what if its like in buffy when they bring sumone bac? theyre not quite right anymore? since he changed and she seen him in the alleyway ive absolutely hated him well becuz its not even him i dont kno i juss truly hate him but then i think bac to the cabin... well by the way you dont know me!!! lol and christain and lissa need to work this stuff out and i like adrian i mean i liked him be4 but now i really like him becuz dimtri's evil! talk back!

i REALLY want adrain to be happy. i just wish he could be happy with someone other than rose.

I agree with everyone! Dimka CAN'T die. It would be pointless for Mead to put in Rose thinking about him as her "soulmate" if she was just going to kill him. Who believes in fairy tales? Cause now, I do!

hey Kaykay, I believe in fairy tales too, so I don't care what everyone else told Rose about turning a Strigoi back being impossible. I know she will find some way to bring him back no matter what she has to go through. i'm sure she's going to grow alot more feelings for Adrian though, but of course nothing as powerful as the way she feels about Dimitri.
hey guys im back. okay i read everything u guys wrote. all i gotta say is wow lol okay so some think demitri cant be brought back all i gotta say there is believe. and to the ones that do believe that demitri can be brought back ur very smart lol okay i think he can be brought back and at the same time that he cant. i love demitri. he and rose should be together, and when i read that she killed him i stopped reading then a few hours later i started reading again, i mean yes we all kinda new inside that she was gonna kill him but we told ourselves she wasnt, in the end of blood promise i cryed idk y i just did. blood promise had its parts that u didnt even want to keep reading. when she first saw demitri my heart sank in my chest, i couldnt believe it. but when she woke up i couldnt believe it more.!! demitri had his moments of sweetness then his moments that i hated him'
but i new the old demitri was somewhere inside. deep inside. when rose jumped off the bridge i couldnt believe he saved her, then the next part i couldnt believe even more!! i was shocked by the hole book. it had its twists and turns u thought she was gonna do something and she did the opposite,
i cant wait for spirt bond i cant beleive its a year away but hey we almost there its wat 7 more months??? we can wait i mean we waited a year for blood promise!! so we can wait. all we gotta do is believe that he will be saved then we just have to wait and read wat happens
Okay so after spirit bound they have another book coming out which scares me a little bit but is exciting at the same time because (duh) it's vampire academy!, but what if Rose doesn't get dimitri changed back in spirit bound what if we have to wait until the last book :(

me too...the note at the end especailly and finding out about her dad...and it's bad but at first there was a part of me that didn't mind if she let him turn her strigoi just because i wanted them to be together it was so dumb of me but now im glad she didn't let him turn her because she wouldnt have been Rose anymore and now there's a real chance everything will work out.

Omg i was so sad when Dimitri turned Strigoi! I can't believe it! I think that if he dies i will track and murder mead in the night! Then i will die myself. I think that Dimitri is strigoi and all, but Liss & Adrian and whoever else will help and then everything will be happy. But as someone has already pointed out, mead doesn't tend to leave her books in a happy state. OMG I THINK I WILL DIE IF I DON'T GET BLOOD PROMISE SOON!!!!! P.S- its wicked about spirit bound, 5#!

i dont think lissa is that selfish, sure at the end she is but before that she used her powers to heal rose, she culdv used it to heal any1 else but she healed rose and i kind of understand wat lissa is going through. she saved her best friends life and now her best friend is leaving her. i mean if my best friend was leaving me i wuld start being selfish at the moment.
i think what Courtney said about Lissa dying because she tries to help Rose turn Dimitri back into a dhampir. i also think that Lissa isnt half as self-centered as she used to be and that she has come a long way. i think that it would be cool if Rose ends up with Adrian because at the end of the book after all the stuff with dimitri. and the thing that Michelle said isnt true dhampirs can only have kids with moroi, it says that in the first book. they might be able to have kids with humans, but im not sure.
i don't know. it just doesn't seem right to me what you are saying about Lissa, Rose, and Adrian. Rose will end up with Dimitri. Period. No ifs or buts. Lissa will help heal Dimitri, but there has to be a sacrifice on her behalf, too. Adrian will even help Lissa, I think, in the reincarnation of Dimitri. He will do it because he loves Rose.

On to Shadow Kiss:
Definitely the best book in the series. I love how Rose and Dimitri's relationship was further explored and expanded. God, the end. It was bloody heart-wrenching. The "Is he... is Dimitri a strigoi?" ... Mason nodded. Oh hell. I cried my eyes out. And the last line of the book- gah. Why did Richelle have to do that to us?
I read over those spoilers in the link above, but mostly, I had already hoped that she wouldn't just end it like that. Mead would not take out her author knife and slice the Rose/Dimitri relationship just like that. They will bring him back- I don't know how- but somehow they will. And I'm guessing this book will be mainly about finding Dimitri and finding away to fix things. The fifth will be about FIXING things.
And Adrian? He's a very likeable character and I do enjoy scenes with him in it and all- but I don't adore him in the same way I do Dimitri. Adrian is a nice fit with Rose- but nice is about all I can say. He doesn't bring out the best in her the way Dimitri does. And if Richelle was ever that cruel to us- infatuation would be as far as she could push the Adrian/Rose relationship. I mean, Rose even said it herself- when he used compulsion to make her want to kiss him- even then, it wasn't anything like being with Dimitri. I just- guh. By all means, give the poor boy a chance. But chances are he's only going to worsen his inevitable heartbreak. We all know where Rose's heart and soul really belong.

Hey :) so im new here but i finally got 2 read blood promise yesterday . I read it in 12 hrs it was that good. Some parts were slow paced and others made me tear up . It was amazing lol
