Dimitri and Rose.
On Mead's blog she said that it was impossible to get the book out any sooner and that she was short on time as it is.
Sooo...when is Blood Promised coming out? I've heard that it's coming out in August and in July.And I don't think there's a way to protest for a book to come out.
But I can't wait 'til it does.
I really want to know what happens to Dimitri, and Rose.And Lissa,Christian, and Adrian.
I wish Mead would put, like , I don't know, a few of the begining chapter up on her website.Or blog.

on amazon its coming out on august 25 i asked my mom to pre order it for me just so that i know i am getting it and as for the putting a few chapters up thats a great idea... i stated it earlier i think that she should do what stephanie meyer did with midnight sun even though i don't know if she's finishing it
but anyway mead knows that we're all going crazy and she is thriving off of that to get the book done quicker i think thats why she left such a suspensefull cliff hanger
Hi guys, I'm new at this but I have been reading your comments for a few days now.What do you all think of Adrian and Rose getting together if Dimitri does die? Don't get me wrong....I LOVE Dimitri but I really feel for Adrian because he loves Rose too.

I wouldn't mind Rose and Adrian getting together if Dimitri died.
I also wouldn't mind but I'd prefer Dimitri.
Ok I know Mead says that they cannot have children but there is no proof. I mean really what do we know about them together? The only dhampir couple you hear about is in the very first book i think and that only says they left their charges to be together. Nothing else was ever writen so we have no clue if its the truth or if its something the Moroi said to keep their guardians around them and not hooking up and leaving.
Okay, its a book so anything is possible.I mean Rose could get pregnant and it would be some, like, special dhampir/moroi baby.But I doubt she'll get pregnant.It just doesn't really go with the story.
I mean can you imgaine Rose with a baby?
I mean,if Dimitri dies, and then she finds out shes pregnant with his child?
That would be, like, the worst ending ever.I would probably cry for ,like a week.

I felt with everyone saying shes pregnant and then people saying its impossible just made me want to state that there is no actual evidence that they can't. It would be a bad ending to the book. Or a bad any part in the book if she looses him, then at 18 is left with a child, thou created from love would be awful to leave her with that piece of him, and take him away from her.

Kind of. But what I am trying to say i guess is really we have no clue if any Dhamprias have tried to have children with each other or if its just something they have been bread to think. Dhampria men really never hook up with the women so to say, they just are guards. I mean yeah they hook up with some Moroi women but even that is not all the time. Its mostly the women getting with the Moroi men that make the Dhampria race survive.

I love this series also more than I love twilight and I really love that but I agree with Adrian and rose getting together if dimitri dies and if rose wants a baby she can have one with him

Remember in the book when it said that 2 of the guardians were leaving to,like,get married.I can't remember if it said they had kids.Yeah, dhampir women getting together with moroi men making dhampir kids.

moroi and moroi make moroi moroi and human make dhampir... thats how dhampirs came to be and i'm guessing a human and dhampirs make more dhampirs so the only way of making more moroi is for two moroi to have sex

I think that it will be the exact opposite of what everyone is saying. I know you are all trying to think outside the box, and trying to think unpredictably, but if it was that easy, Richelle's books wouldn't be as good as we all know they are.I don't have theories, but I do have hopes.
Am I the ONLY one who LIKES AdrianxRose?! I think they've got good chemistry and Adrian's hooked on Rose. He needs her.
This sounds horrible, and I'm going to be murdered for it by you guys, but I'd rather Dimitri DOES stay undead or just dies altogether than Lissa being the hero. I hate her. She's incredibly full of it, and really needs to be slapped already. I was cheering Rose on when she FINALLY didn't baby Lissa and left once and for all.
I don't want Lissa to follow. I want Christian to follow. I've always had a thing for Christian and Rose. Not even as a couple necessarily, just their relationship in general.
I hope Rose learns to do something for herself for ONCE. Everything she does is for someone ELSE -cough- lissa -cough-.

your right, the blond strigoi does seem important. the only thing im not sure of is that in the cave, it said that the blond strigoi bit dimitri, right?? well, earlier in the book didn't it say that to become a strigoi, you either have to kill someone while drinking their blood or something else. Dimitri didnt drink any blood...idk
It said the strigoi can make you drink blood.Don't you have to kill a human to become a strigoi?

OMG!!!! This series is amazing!!! I have read each of the first three books twice now... I don't think Mason lied to Rose. He wouldn't do that to Rose. Dimitri WON'T stay a strigoi. It's not possible. Plus, this is the fourth book. Richelle's website shows five books. There has to bew more!!!
Rose probably can't just go off into the sunset and save Dimitri alone though. Lissa, Christian, and Adrian will probably find her. I think there are only a few things that can really happen once Rose finds him:
A) Dimitri will be staked by Rose if he really is Strigoi, but Lissa will feel bad for not agreeing to help Rose in the third book, so she will heel him. He would be normal again!
B) Rose's love for Dimitri will prevent her from staking him, but Adrian and Lissa's combined spirit powers will save his soul that was lost. Since they do not know the full potential of the spirit powers anyway, this might just be something else they can do. St. Vladimir saved people, so why can't they?
C) Dimitri's love for Rose when he sees her coming to save him will allow him to free his soul from the Strigoi's clutches.
The other thing that I haven't seen anyone mention is the fifth book. What will happen then? When (yea, it's a WHEN) they save Dimitri, maybe the Strigoi will be mad and come after Dimitri, Rose, and Lissa. That prediction is the farthest one since we don't even know what will happen in the fourth book.
Victor probably has something to do with all of this. He got Natalie to turn Strigoi, so maybe he will too. I hope Rose gets to kill him too!
That's the other thing to one has mentioned. What about all the Strigoi they killed at the end of the third book. Does everyone get THAT many marks. It doesn't seem fair to Rose if she only had those two marks after killing so many of them at school. If any of you have read the House of Night Series, they get a type of mark too, but after a while their marks form all over their bodies. I doubt Rose's neck will have enough room for all of the Strigoi she killed, nor will most people.
Didn't Dimitri have like 6 marks on his neck? If so, Rose probably has him beat by now! I wonder if those marks will stay since he's Stirgoi now. Will they be there WHEN (yea, another WHEN) he's back to normal?
There are so many things we can ponder about this book since it won't be out until August. (or at least that's when I heard it was coming out)

I just had a thought. Everyone's saying how Dimitri's going to go back from where he came from or something like that.... But I think that he's going to the West, like where all of his cowboy novels come from... xD

that's true too...i don't know which place he will go if he runs from the "pack" of Strigoi. Either one is possible though...

how do you know it won't be happy...plus if this one isn't happy, the last one might be! I doubt Dimitri, Rose, or Lissa wioll be killed since there is a fifth book and they are all pretty major. Lissa might but I doubt it and I wouldn't be too happy about that. I doubt many people would be. This series needs to continue!
Wow lots of theories lol!And Aly in the last book it does say that she went to get her marks for killing all them strigoi at school, instead of the normal marks she got something that she said looked like a star, which means she has killed many strigoi in an attack.

Nobody has really mentioned christian ... i really liked him in these books!
I definately think that whatever has happened in the last three books that the moroi will definately start exploring using their magic and start to defend themselves and that might have alot to do with the next books??

Uhm I don't think Rose will become a strigoi to save Dimitri's soul.
And I really don't think Dimitri knew he was going to die or turn into a strigoi or whatever.
And I think after the blonde strigoi turned Dimitri into a strigoi he was killed himself.
But idk I guess im going to reread Shadowkissed and see.
