Giulia Erm, I guess don't write uninspired? Watching particular movies to visiting particular places help me find my passion for writing again. For example, I once went to this rainforest/beach resort (unbelievably expensive but gorgeous) and I was itching to write at the end of it. I had so many ideas! So yeah. Be inspired and love your story.

Caroline (godwithus) I use outside inspiration. That gives me good words to use and Gets my creative juices flowing

Annie (anniejane) | 7 comments Every time you write a novel, write down a Character Form... This is a small form that you can use to write down anything you want about your characters.

Example:
Name: Janie
Age: 17
Gender: Female
Personality: Bubbly and sweet on the outside, but has a deadly instinct to kill.
Character Quirks: Has to look in a mirror every time she walks by one.
Appearance: Blond Hair, brown eyes, tall.
Other: Favorite Ice cream flavor is bubblegum.

This way you not only know your character better, but it keeps you from making little mistakes like saying her favorite drink is 'Coffee' but later saying that her favorite drink is 'Hot chocolate'

Hope this helps :)

GlitchObsession-Eridan's Matesprit (DontlaughIknowwhereyoulive) It helps me when I listen to music when I write(mostly Phantom of the Opera). If you want your story to be sad listen to sad music. It sounds stupid but it really works!

Keri Solaris (kerisuesolaris) Write for yourself, not for anything, or anyone, else. The more you try to please others with your work, the less it is yours and the more it is their's. :) I used to write only for feedback and realized that I temporarily lost my love for writing because I wasn't getting all the feedback I wanted. Now, my love for writing has grown because I'm writing for me and not for fame. And frankly, my work turns out much better when I'm not trying to please others and I'm writing because it's something I love to do. :) Just an idea. :)

Giulia I completely agree! Whenever I write, I think 'That won't suit well for the audience' then I realize 'What audience? This is for me and my imagination so I can do what ever I want!'

Erin M. (siriusyareader) | 10 comments I do think inspiration is important, but at the same time it's impossible to be inspired every day. You have to realize that being an author means writing a lot and sometimes you won't want to. I guess what I'm trying to say is work hard, no matter what. Persevere. Don't let a day go by without writing, even if it's only a paragraph.
