I see that everyone agees with that choice :) Well I'm on chapter five but I have to go to try and get some sleep - it's 2 a.m. if everythings goes well, maybe I'll be able to fall asleep around 3 :/
I totally agree, Dresden Files....even better if you get the audiobook with James Marsters.I'm trying to dwindle all the Kindle books I keep grabbing. So far
had good ideas but poor execution. Let's see if
fare any better.
I just finished my 9th book this month,
The Third Circle (The Arcane Society, #4) by Amanda Quick. My next book is
Grave Surprise (Harper Connelly, #2) by Charlaine Harris
Finished:Secrets of the Demon (Kara Gillian, #3) by Diana Rowland
Seriously … I read in books more about bad politicians rather than good ones … irritating to say the least.
I love the “ah-ha!’ feeling you get when you re-read a book and get stuff. A sort of ‘ohhh that is why that happened’ or something like that.
Finished:Sins of the Demon (Kara Gillian, #4) by Diana Rowland
I gave up going to sleep at a normal time to finish this … gawwwwd I hate cliffhangers. I even knew this one was coming, now to wait till my library gets the next one or cave and buy it….
I just finished my 10th book this month,
Grave Surprise (Harper Connelly, #2) by Charlaine Harris. My next book is
Evil at Heart (Gretchen Lowell #3) by Chelsea Cain

Llaph.... you are gonna wanna read the next book! It's longer than the other ones, but omg... it's good.Starting a new UF series,
. Still rereading
and
@Zeenat - the Blood Singer series is good - you should enjoy it.On my rereads of Jane True, one thing comes immediately to mind - I hate Ryu!
@ zeenat:I KNOW! That is why I am torn.... You know a series is good when you find yourself thinking about it long after you hav read the last book.
Even if there are some wtf moments in it and it is not perfect. :x
@DC:
O goody I am not alone in thinking that.
I thought he was a douche when he was first introduced. :/

Ohhhh Cat Adams, I liked the beginning of the sazi series. this new series looks interesting.
Ryu is arrogant and obnoxious, and little Jane, had she not been so forlorn due to previous issues, wouldn't have had anything to do with him had her teen years played out differently, or so I'd like to believe. It could be there's just no accounting for taste! The Blood Singer series is actually a few years old, now. I have never read the Sazi series - never even heard of it - is it good?
@ DC:I remember now the name of the series and when it first came out. I am/or were subscribed to her newsletter with the co-author she had for the sazi series.
I really like the beginning of the series, for me it started to peter out towards the end. I still liked the series though.
It is mainly about shape shifters, all sorts of animals, and sub species. For instance one book has a mexican red wolf shifter mc.
There are snake shifters and even a komodo dragon shifter, she is such a bitch, but she sort of fits with what she is.
Hunter’s Moon (The first book of the series) is still one of my favorites of the series. I loooove Tony. He was a mob hitman/assassin before he was bitten by a werewolf. It has been a while since I have read the series, I might look into reading it again.
Tales of the Sazi by C.T. Adams and Cathy Clamp
@zeenat & DC:
I rather thought Ryu was taking advantage of Jane and was rooting for Anyan in the beginning. He was just a pretty booty call imo.
Ryu is just skeevy….
@Llaph: I loved Tony too! I was disappointed when it changed in book 3. I think I gave up after book four but i should pick the series up again.
@val:I think that after that book things just went towards more woowoo stuff. Tony plays a big part in it all, but damn I wanted him to have more books not just cameos with him and bobby. :P

I was reading the blurbs again and I forgot to mention that the shifters usually have a power, like with clairvoyance, healing, and I don't remember what else. I think sometimes they don't too ... like I said it has been a while!
I just finished my 11th book this month,
Evil at Heart (Gretchen Lowell #3) by Chelsea Cain. My next book is
An Ice Cold Grave (Harper Connelly, #3) by Charlaine Harris
Well, that's a big problem of mine, I get easily addicted to the stories and characters, so if I like something, I tend to read until I finish it all. I just have to make a break somewhere between books to read
, but other then that, I'm set for a while :)
Margo wrote: "I'm on chapter 21 of

Stayed up til 2am to finish
. Really liked it.Starting on
I am finishing up Born of Ashes. I'm not really sure that I liked this book very much. It took so long to get to the end! I could only read so much at a time. The next book on my list is Dead Ever After
Hunter's Moon (A Tale of the Sazi, #1) by C.T. Adams, Cathy ClampI had forgotten how much I liked this book. :)
Moon's Web (A Tale of the Sazi, #2) by C.T. Adams and Cathy ClampSad times, last tony book. I will keep reading, I don’t remember the book where I started to get bored with the series. Hmm, maybe things will be different this time around.
@ Claire:
You should make lists Claire! Did you finish the demonica series, or just stop at wraith’s book? Lore’s is okay, but I really liked sin’s book.
It depends on what you want to read. When I am stuck I sometimes figure out a way to pick a book at random out of my choices. I have sometimes assigned books numbers and bugged someone to give me a number in that range to pick for me.
Yeah … I am weird.
I just stopped at Wraith's book. But I also read the first Jane True book. And so now I am indecisive. Or maybe read something else entirely.
I just finished my 12th book this month,

Read the Jane True - last one in the series comes out May 28th. Its a good series - she's "built for comfort - not speed!"
I am in agreement with the jane reccomendations! Two weeksis time enough to catch up ... they read fast.Okay 10 days ... so that may be different.
Captive Moon (A Tale of the Sazi, #3) by C.T. Adams and Cathy ClampNot a tony book or one of my favorites in the series, but I still liked it.
Howling Moon (A Tale of the Sazi, #4) by C.T. Adams and Cathy ClampI forgot about the wonky out of the time line progressionish thing that this book did. 1, 2, and 3 followed each other, but this book took place months before and during the 2nd book.
Not that it made a difference, but a few of the comments/actions in book 2 make more sense.
Moon's Fury (A Tale of the Sazi, #5) by C.T. Adams and Cathy ClampArgh … can’t stop it …The plot line with the snakes and quezocotl is starting so I might get bored with the series and stop re-reading.
It's all someone else's fault or something.
I just finished my 13th book this month,
The Night Season (Gretchen Lowell, #4) by Chelsea Cain. My next book is
Running Hot (Arcane Society, # 5) by Jayne Ann Krentz

Slashback was REALLY good, hope you enjoy it!!
Timeless Moon (A Tale of the Sazi, #6) by C.T. Adams and Cathy ClampNothing more confusing that a character that has foresight…. Next book is a Tony book whee. There are only 8 books in this series though.
Cold Moon Rising (A Tale of the Sazi, #7) by C.T. Adams and Cathy ClampIt has been a while since I read this series. I certainly see it in a different light after reading the mass books I have read in the interim. I can't think about anything else. I just like it more than I had before. Maybe that is because I have a broader range of stuff like this now to compare it to.
It has taken me too long to say nothing … ambien + dingbat me = no freaking sense at all
reeeeeeeeuuuu
hrm, I forgot I had written that post after I had taken an ambien.... Good thing I can't drive.Serpent Moon (A Tale of the Sazi, #8) by C.T. Adams and Cathy Clamp,
I haven’t read this series in total since maybe ’10 when this book had come out. I kept stopping mainly I guess because there was a book I didn’t like much in the way. :P I forgot about how much I liked the ending of this book/series. I wish there was another series set in this world. It would be totally different, but still….
